Air Gear - Heroic Trick – Meeting A Friend and Introductions
Welp I got bored again since just about everything is closed now due to the virus going around so here's another chapter. Sorry bout the updates earlier just fixing some grammar mistakes, using correct terms from the anime, and figuring out how I wanted to format the story. So, enjoy the first chapter (Or is it second now)

How is it even with my mobility that I am somehow late to things that I actually like to go to? Thought Yutaka as he and his sister where riding rather quickly towards the movie theater for their meet up with Yutaka's friend. We were getting a few shouts from random people as we pass by them and cutting rather close into knocking them over, but this is just daily life nothing changes for most people because of what we do riding to go see a movie.
11:53 Musutafu Plaza
"Ok we were cutting it close but now we're here. I am guna call my friend and see where he is." Yutaka said almost a little winded from the distant ride he just did in almost a record time for him not racing anyone to here.
Yutaka took out his simple flip phone to give his friend a call looking for his contact of "The Tail Man" and the phone range twice before he picked up.
"Hey Yutaka where you at? I just entered into the theater and I am almost to the front of the line to get some tickets."
"Ok we just got here coming inside the theater now, I brought my sister with me I owe her a ticket for a recent event we'll be joining in with you in a second. Hold a spot for us."
The theater is just your simple theater five screens down the two opposite hallways, with the smell of popcorn heavy in the air. Right behind the last person to pick out their movie tickets we see our lovable plain clothed Ojiro.
Very chilly Yutaka and his sister go and join Ojiro trying to not agitate anyone by this course of line cutting. Most people that they noticed were ok that this was a thing they would do if they had a friend in the front of the line.
The movie that the trio watch is just your simple comedy that got translated from English that came from America.
"Welp that was fun, Ojiro you said you got into the U.A. Hero Course last time we met in the dojo didn't you?"
"Ya why you bring this up?"
"Well I just heard that one of your classmates got expelled due to in incident in a locker room."
"Ya we had an incident like that how did you hear about that tho? I would think that that would be kept private."
"It would be if you weren't talking to your newest classmate." Yutaka stated with immense happiness in the fact that he is talking to his friend and telling him that he will be joining him again in school.
"Wait your coming into U.A.? How I thought you went to just a normal high school?" Ojiro stated with shock and then happiness that his friend will be joining him at school.
"Well that would be the case normally but you see this underground hero who apparently also teaches at U.A. finally caught me after some of my late day activities and a raid that I tipped the police off to. I'll tell you more if it comes up at a later day."
"Figured you would do something that would get someone's attention but from what you described sounded like you met my homeroom teacher. So when will you be joining my class?"
"Monday but I have to take a test before then to qualify for the hero course but I figured they wouldn't offer me an impossible test."
"Huh welp I'll be seeing you tomorrow then I got some stuff to get for my family before I get back today, good luck on your test and getting into the hero course." Ojiro said at he started to separate from them and go in his own direction.
"Welp you weren't lying he is kinda bland." Stated Sis almost as a cold fact
"He's a great guy definitely worthy of attending the hero course I don't know how far he can go with just a tail for a quirk tho."
"Says the kid who is getting in because he practically has a car motor in his shoes." Retorted Sis
"Touché, welp got anything else you wana do today we still have time to kill for today? I wana do some basic tuning on my treks before school tomorrow."
"Nothing comes to my mind right now so let's head home."
3:00 Home
The inside of Yutaka's room looks like a plain room with old posters of air trek teams a single poster of Mirko as she was Yutaka's favorite hero due to the two of them being kick based in their forms, and a single desk with a computer and monitor with two book shelves on each side of it most filled with engineering, air trek, programming, and various notebooks on how to improve Yutaka's air treks.
Yutaka spends the rest of the day tuning his treks and doing some light rehearsing on subjects he wasn't as well-versed in. All while listening to rather loud rock and pop music much to the slight annoyance to his neighbors.
U.A. Afternoon Front of 1-A Door
"Whoever wrote that test is a fucking sadist. That shit was tailored made for me and gave me questions that made me feel like the smartest mother fucker ever only to give me a gut shot with literature."
Nezu in his office Sneezing "Huh someone must be talking about me; I hope it's flattering."
"Welp I am here now no time like the present to go inside and face my new future."
Inside the room wasn't what Yutaka thought would be in the best hero course in the country. In all honestly it was just as chaotic as his old school in terms of attitude. In the second row Yutaka sees Ojiro who silently waves him right after he opened the door. Almost instantly after Yutaka rolled fully into the room, he was immediately verbally assaulted by some glasses guy for having his Treks on.
"Excuse me but who are you I've never seen you on the school grounds before, why are you wearing our schools' hero course uniform, and why are you disrespecting the school by not wearing proper shoes?" Tenya Asked
"Alright four eyes, First I am your new classmate freshly recommended, Second Is rather obvious, and third I want to ask you why would someone not ware what you would call proper shoes?"
Tenya taken aback by the insult then the question, "It would have to be quirk related I assume."
Bakugo in the back "You hear that four eyes I am not the only one tired of you butting into others business."
"Your partially correct the shoes would be given a pass if I had a quirk that required it, or if I personally needed it because of a different reason. But before we go further into this discussion let me introduce myself."
Writing on the chalk board Yutaka writes out his name.
"My name is Yutaka Take, I've joined the hero course under recommendation of Erasure Head, and I am quirkless." Yutaka was ready but not completely for the literal explosion from the back of the class but he was ready for the quizzical looks and shocked gasps.
Before Bakugo can even cross the class, he was already wrapped up in a scarf.
"Bakugo I will ask you once again to stay seated." Stated an Erasure Head Red Eyes glowing.
Bakugo very angerly eyed up Yutaka as he took his seat.
"Ah you wound me Erasure Head you never showed me those eyes." Yutaka said playfully hurt.
"It's because you and I both know that it wouldn't have had any effect on you."
Midoriya spoke up from the back of the class "So Yutaka do you mind telling us the purpose of your shoes they look like just normal roller blades to us."
"I would gladly do that but I figured it would be much better to show you guys what I can do with these shoes physically, but on a personal level I've known how to ride these almost as long as I've known how to walk so these shoes are practically apart of me. Erasure Head is it alright if I take these guys to a gym and do an obstacle course?"
"It's alright it's the end of the day and I don't have anything to give them today. Go ask Cementos to create the course for you." Stated as he zipped up his sleeping bag and proceeded to go to sleep.
Yutaka now taken aback by this "Does he do this often?"
The whole class just sadly stated "Yes."
"Well can one of you guys direct me through this place I still don't know where anything is."
U.A. Training Ground
"Alright here you go kids don't destroy this place instantly I have papers to grade for the rest of the day." Said Cementos
"Alright guys so what do you want to ask me to show off first?" Questioned Yutaka
"Well we have an obstacle course and a runner track so we can do either one of those" Stated a girl with a ponytail whose name is Momo Yaoyorozu.
"Well who's your fastest runner you guys got?" Yutaka asked.
"That would have to be Tenya here." Midoriya stated causing a few sparks from one explosive boy in the back for the group.
"Oi shitty Deku I am much faster than four eyes. I am racing Skates." Yelled Bakugo
"So, I guess we're going to have a three person race me, Tenya, and the loud mouth." Said Yutaka almost smugly knowing the coming reaction.
"Oh, you so on you quirkless loser!" Bakugo exclaimed.
On the Track
"Alright so first to do a full lap with minimal damage to the track is the winner alright guys the rest of the class will act as our judges." Yutaka stated knowing that one of them is completely incapable of controlling his temper to not destroy the track if he pissed him off enough.
"Alright let's go you quirkless hero wannabe!" shouted Bakugo focused solely on the race about to be at hand not even realizing what was just said.
"Yutaka lets race fairly and to the best we can." Tenya Said
"Alright, you guys ready to give us a count down?" Yutaka asked
"Alright guys you ready? 3…2…1…GO!" Shouted a blonde with a lighting bolt in his hair.
In almost a flash a massive puff of dust erupted from the starting line.
Bakugo can't really see through the dust kicked up by the three of them. But he knows that he is already behind them and the distance is only gaining.
Tenya and Yutaka emerged from the dust first and they are about neck and neck.
"Ha looks like my thought was right but this is going to be where I take my leave Tenya!" Yutaka shouted.
After that Yutaka pressed down hard onto his toes and pushed the treks into full power and passed the finish line a solid 3 seconds ahead of Tenya the Bakugo 5 seconds behind Him.
Everyone is a little shocked that Tenya had lost in a battle of speed.
"Alright that's that. So, anyone wana challenge me to the obstacle or do you just wana see me run it solo?" Questioned Yutaka.
"I'll take you up on that Yu." Stated Ojiro.
"Alright been awhile since we've had a proper course since some dude cleaned up the beach we were using to practice."
Midoriya jumped a little at that wondering how he never saw these two when cleaning up the beach with All Might.
In the Obstacle Course
Infront of Yutaka and Ojiro is a long and almost what appears to be impassable course with what seems to be concrete rails and ramps and just looks to be a skater's paradise.
"Alright you guys ready for another count down?" Yutaka asked.
"You bet ya keep us entertained here mate! 3…2…1…!" Shouted what Yutaka must have thought was most of the class.
As they shouted Yutaka just flew towards a ramp to get his verticality to look for any rails to grind on and just form his path for this course.
Ojiro not having the speed that Yutaka has he jumps through the course seemingly not affected by the rough terrain.
The class themselves honestly didn't think much of Ojiro in the time with their first meeting with him but now seeing him move through this terrain they were actually impressed with his skills in mobility.
Through the entirety of the course after the pair got into the middle bit of the course it got a little difficult to spot the two runners breaching the top of the course to see and form their paths once again.
At the vary end of the course out pops Ojiro and Yutaka coming out at practically the same time.
"Ha I beat you." Both runners shouted at each other both winded from the harsh run.
"Judges what's your call?" Yutaka called out
"We can't really tell you guys came out at the same time we couldn't tell." Replied Mina Ashido.
"It was skates who got out first." Stated Bakugo still sour of his loss to both four eyes and skates
"YES, I KNEW IT!" Shouted Yutaka with glee.
"Now I am really tired but I want to go and try snagging a support course student to see if we can work together on some gear for me before I need my hero suit. Do you guys have any more questions before I head off?" Stated Yutaka.
"Where did you get those shoes you never told us about them?" Midoriya asked
"I built them with my sister she used to be apart of a Stormrider gang about 10-15 years ago back then Stormriders where almost like vigilantes in terms of their popularity since we illegally mod our Treks to go faster then what the government wants. Hell, Treks are so buried by the government now we have an actually black market for parts and it's not unusual for people to do parts wars to get upgrades or replacement parts." Replied Yutaka.
The whole class was a little shocked at hearing about this other life that apparently existed outside of villains having a black market for their things.
"Doesn't that mean you're in possession of illegal equipment?" Asked Tenya.
"Yes, I am but I've been given a pass so long as I become a hero with access to the support class to make upgrades." Yutaka retorted.
The class didn't really know how to respond to that since their classmate just admitted to having illegal equipment and knowing that there are others and even a market for it.
"Honestly I'm surprised you guys didn't ask me about my recommendation by Erasure Head but I am going to save that explanation for later since I got some stuff to do now. See you guys tomorrow." Yutaka said as he started to roll towards the building.
The class also forgot to ask him about that recommendation he got but they figured they would hear about it later either by their teacher or Yutaka himself.
Inside U.A.
Yutaka didn't find the support course as he got lost, before he was told by the staff that he had to leave and go home for the day he did hear an explosion up a floor.
Yutaka's Home
Yutaka thinks that today went great for a first day at a new school. When he got home, he found that his sister wasn't home but left a note saying that some upstarts where causing trouble but she would be back with a new emblem and Dinner. Yutaka knew that after he could start taking care of himself that his sister went back to her old group and started riding again even inviting him along with her after she realized that she really couldn't hide her going out for rides again from him. So, Yutaka waited and eventually Sis came home with what she said she would. While they ate, they had a nice conversation about her ride and his day at school.
Midoriya Home
"So, it was possible for a quirkless to get into U.A. even though it may have been through unusual means. I am going to have to talk to Yutaka later." Inside Midoriya was really happy that someone has managed get in quirkless.
Katsuki Home
"Another dam extra showed up today. Fuck does he think he's doing quirkless loser." Bakugo scowls the scowling the whole night "quirkless extra is only going to get himself hurt in this line of work eventually. Just like how that useless Deku hurts himself."
Welp Here's the second chapter I think my whole families is getting sick so I may just turn out some chapters throughout the week. Once again, all credit goes to all parties that contributed.
