Video Game Survivor Blood vs. Water Episode 2 Maybe I should be less paragon and more renegade this time around.
Last time on Survivor…18 contestants with pairs that knew each other were split into two tribes of 9. The Daggerfall Tribe and Morrowind Tribe. In Daggerfall Tribe Aela became a provider and created an alliance with Alyx and Gaz hoping to bring in Shepard and Kaiden as Dib and Magikarp were the first targets. In Morrowind Tribe Colin insulted his employee Gob and took the leadership role however Ben gained more respect with his leadership skills as J'skar was afraid of his "brother" Marco. In a close challenge Daggerfall won after Ben threw the challenge in order to save his son Jake from the vote who was not confident in his position. Before the vote Colin targeted Ben but Ben found out and Colin tried to switch the vote to Gob. However, Colin was taken out in a 6-2-1 vote. 17 are left who will be voted out next?
Daggerfall Tribe Day 4
Jake was writing in his data pad.
Jake's Confession: I feel kind of like a hero for the tribe right now. I won the last challenge for my tribe even though my dad threw it. But I feel like I need to socialize with them a bit more since I only got to know Dib and Kaiden.
"What are you writing there?" Shepard asked
"Just my experiences here." Jake replied "Up early this morning."
"I do not prefer to sleep in." Shepard replied "Back in basic training I was up at 4am every morning. Hard habit to break."
"Yeah, my dad always gets me up early too…until I moved into my own place." Jake said "Though I slept in when I moved into my own place with Nog. Still hard to sleep in this place. It's freezing out."
"You will get used to it." Shepard said
Shepard's Confession: I am trying to get to know everyone here. Jake is the guy who I only had a couple of conversations with. He is a good kid to talk to and honestly it is hard to dislike anyone in this tribe. Everyone is so nice.
Elsewhere Ennui was watching nature on a hill as Gaz comes up.
"Watching the animals?" Gaz asked sitting down.
"No, watching for a dragon to see where it comes from." Ennui replied
"Why are you interested in watching a dragon?" Gaz asked a bit rudely.
"Because it is the bringer of death." Ennui replied "I saw it a couple of times and want to find it."
Ennui's Confession: Production warned us of dragons. I will not heed their warnings. I ignored production before and took penalties during the race I competed in. I want to see it close up.
"If you see where it is coming from what will you?" Gaz asked
"Hopefully meet up with it." Ennui replied "I want to talk to it. I have questions."
Gaz's Confession: Ennui is a bit weird like my brother. But he is less annoying so he is alright. Still he is obsessed with death and that dragon that flies over sometimes.
Elsewhere Alyx and Aela were talking.
"So how come I only seen 8 of us in camp?" Alyx asked "Didn't we have another member?"
"Yeah, Magikarp…he's in the lake." Aela said "I tossed him in after the challenge. All he did was flop around."
"That explains it." Alyx replied "Well either way he did nothing during the challenge."
"Yeah, I think the tribe is in agreement that he is first to go." Aela said
Aela's Confession: I love this tribe much better than my previous tribe. I normally hunt alone but I love Alyx coming with me. She has a pretty good head on her shoulders. Still we won the challenge barely and the other tribe is full of much stronger people so we have to play it smart.
"We just need to convince Gaz. She is hellbent on taking out Dib." Alyx said
"Well hopefully that will not be needed if Magikarp contributes nothing." Aela replied
Morrowind Tribe Day 4
Gob was up early cooking some rice for the tribe.
Gob's Confession: Colin went last night and I could not be happier. Back at the bar my only hope was for him to die so I can take over but here I can be myself without having to look out for him. Look out world a new Gob is in town.
"Cooking rice for everyone?" Ben asked walking over
"Yeah, I figured with Colin gone I can do anything I want without him breathing down my neck." Gob replied
"Well, just so you know, you were never considered to be voted out. It was always going to be Colin." Ben said "Besides Meowth and Crimson are next."
Ben's Confession: I am glad to have kept Gob around. Colin wanted him gone but I see no reason to get rid of him. I want to get rid of the weaker members who are outside of my alliance of me, Gob, Marco, Farkas, and Gordon.
"So, would you like a part in my alliance?" Ben asked
"Yeah sure I will a spot." Gob replied
Outside of the cave Meowth looked a bit ticked off.
Meowth's Confession: I am not sure why Colin went last night. He did not do anything to deserve to go home. But this is my chance to make an alliance. I just need allies.
Meowth goes over to Ben.
"So, I was wondering if you want to be in an alliance with me?" Meowth asked
"Well I already have an alliance and you voted against Gob." Ben replied "What makes you think I should join your alliance."
"Because I have the majority." Meowth replied "I have Gordon, Farkas, Crimson…in fact the whole tribe."
"I highly doubt that." Ben said
Ben's Confession: Not sure what Meowth is trying to do. He created an imaginary alliance consisting of my allies. I know that he means well but he is not helping his case any further.
Elsewhere Farkas and Gordon were talking.
"So, team up with Alyx and Aela when we merge?" Gordon asked
"Yes, sounds good." Farkas replied
Farkas's Confession: Alyx was right. Gordon does not talk very much. His alliance offer was only the third time he talked to me. The first time was asking if these berries were edible and second was asking where the machete was.
Reward Day 5
"Welcome to reward." Nighteye said "Daggerfall Tribe take a look at the new Morrowind Tribe. Colin voted out of last night's Tribal Council." A few people looked surprised "Today's challenge will have each member run out to unbury a bag of puzzle pieces. There are 6 bags. When all 6 bags are found the last two will be putting the puzzle together. First team that completes their puzzle wins reward. I know that it has been cold so reward is thick fur blankets, pillows, and sleeping mats. Plus, the winning tribe gets to kidnap a member of the losing tribe for the day. Daggerfall you have one extra member who is sitting out?"
"We cannot let Magikarp compete during immunity." Aela whispered.
"I can sit out. Too cold." Gaz said
"Gaz take a seat on the bench and let's start." Nighteye said
Finding the bags for Daggerfall are Aela, Alyx, Shepard, Kaiden, Ennui, and Jake. Doing the puzzle are Dib and Magikarp.
Finding the bags for Morrowind is Farkas, Gordon, Gob, Ben, J'skar, and Crimson Doing the puzzle is Meowth and Marco.
"Survivors ready…go!"
Aela and Farkas runs out to dig both came back with their bag quickly as Gordon and Alyx runs out. Gordon comes back slightly ahead of Alyx with their bags. Gob and Shepard runs out as Shepard easily found his bag while Gob struggled. By the time Gob found his bag Kaiden found his. Ennui and J'skar run out with Ennui coming back before J'skar.
Jake then runs out with Ben right behind him. Ben grabbed his bag as Jake digs in another area.
"You got this Jake!" Alyx yelled
Crimson then runs out.
"Go Crimson!" Meowth shouted as Jake found the last bag and runs back. Dib starts on the puzzle as Magikarp just flops around.
"Karp!" Magikarp said as Crimson comes back with the last bag. Meowth and Marco starts on the puzzle and quickly started making progress as Dib struggled.
"Dib! You idiot!" Gaz yelled "I could have solved it faster!"
Dib continued to fall behind until Marco puts in the last piece.
"Morrowind Tribe wins reward!" Nighteye shouted as Marco and Meowth high five each other "Congratulations you get the blankets, mats, and pillows and you can kidnap one person."
"Let's go with Gaz since she sat out." Marco said
"Gaz you will join Morrowind for the day. For the rest of Daggerfall, I got nothing for you head back to camp." Nighteye said
Daggerfall Tribe Day 5
The tribe came back to camp.
"Well that stunk." Alyx said "We were doing pretty good."
"I am sorry I blew the puzzle." Dib said "But I needed help and Magikarp gave me no help at all."
"We understand you were outnumbered 2 to 1 and never gave up." Aela encouraged "Let's hope immunity goes our way."
Alyx's Confession: Well we lost reward which is not as big of a deal as immunity. Though I really wanted those blankets. Dib has been hard on himself though at least he tried.
Dib went off to put Magikarp into the lake.
"Damn, this is not good for me." Dib said sighing.
"You are telling me. You and me are both next to go." Magikarp said popping out of the lake.
"You talk!" Dib shouted
"Yes, I can and I have been listening into conversations." Magikarp said "They are targeting us. Of course, I will go first and you second."
Magikarp's Confession: I've spent the last few days observing. I cannot do much else so I know who is together and who are being targeted.
"So, who do we pull in?" Dib asked
"Simple, we bring in Jake he is not in the main alliance." Magikarp said "Kaiden and Shepard are our best choices to bring in. Can you bring in Gaz too?"
"Yeah, she will be easy to bring in once she sees this alliance." Dib replied
Dib's Confession: So, I know Magikarp helped lose us the challenge but if he says is true then I am in trouble. However, I do love his strategy of bringing the outsiders in an alliance and bring in Kaiden and Shepard.
Kaiden walks over.
"Hey guys what is happening?" he asked
"Oh, we are just talking." Dib replied
"Yeah, we are creating an alliance." Magikarp said "We've noticed that Aela, Alyx, Gaz and Ennui created an alliance."
"I've noticed. I think Shepard would be in that group too." Kaiden said
Kaiden's Confession: So, Dib and Magikarp are creating an alliance. I never expected that to happen since Dib was kind of hot headed and Magikarp is well useless.
"So, what is in it for us?" Kaiden asked
"Well, we need the two of you to join us and we can give you a final 4 deal." Magikarp offered
"I have to bring that up with Shepard." Kaiden said "But I like that idea."
Dib's Confession: Did I go from feeling like the low man on the totem pole to the top of the world. Thanks to Magikarp of all people is helping me get into a power position.
Ennui was watching them from a distance.
Ennui's Confession: I guess Dib and Magikarp are making an alliance. Yeah that is all I have. Can I go back to dragon watching?
Morrowind Tribe Day 5
Gaz arrived to the tribe.
"Well at least I am away from Dib." She said unimpressed.
Gaz's Confession: So, I guess I got kidnapped because I sat out. Still I have to give this to clue to the hidden immunity idol to someone. I know who to give it to.
"Listen I know I have to give this clue to someone. Instead of pulling people aside I will just give it to Gordon." Gaz said handing the clue to Gordon.
"Lucky" Farkas said
"Okay, now that is over with, I will be wandering the camp." Gaz added
"Don't steal anything." Meowth said
"Do I look like a thief?" Gaz asked
Gaz's Confession: I gave the clue to Gordon for a couple of reasons. He is the quietest here and he is with Alyx who is part of my alliance. Chances are if he finds the idol, he will not tell anyone else which is good. I do not want people blabbering about some stupid idol clue.
Gaz goes off somewhere as Crimson follows her.
"How is Ennui doing over there?" Crimson asked
"He is doing fine if you are wondering." Gaz replied "He is in my alliance. What can you tell me about this tribe?"
"Ben is the leader and there is a large alliance of Farkas, Gordon, Ben, Gob, and Marco." Crimson said
"Well that is good to know." Gaz replied
Crimson's Confession: I gave Gaz all of the info in the tribe because I am on the outside and I hope that if there is a tribe switch, I can join her alliance. It seems that my boyfriend is doing better at fitting in than me.
"If there is a switch, I can join your alliance." Crimson said "People here are a bit too strange." Crimson said despite speaking in monotone and dressed heavily as a goth.
"Good to know." Gaz said
Elsewhere Gordon, Farkas, and Marco were looking for the idol.
"So where is the idol?" Farkas asked
"It is buried outside of camp." Marco said looking over the clue that Gordon gave him. "Are you sure we do not need to include Ben in this?"
"I am sure." Gordon said quietly.
"I am guessing because he is the leader," Farkas said "No need to give him anymore power."
Gordon's Confession: So, Gaz gave me the clue to the hidden immunity idol and I gave it to my two closest allies Marco and Farkas. I would include Ben and Gob but those two have a close alliance already and no need to draw any more attention onto us.
The three started looking as they dug up near some of the landmarks but found nothing.
"Well this is not good." Farkas said
"Yeah, we were digging for hours and found nothing." Marco added
Marco's Confession: I really wish we could have found that idol. It would be a blessing for all of us. But at least we have warm blankets and pillows. Plus, we have 30 something more days to locate the idol. That is one thing we have a lot of. Time.
Elsewhere Gob and Ben were setting up the blankets, pillows, and furs in the cave.
"This will help during the freezing nights." Ben said "I know you cannot feel but it below freezing at night."
"Yeah, only Farkas seems unaffected by it but he is use to is." Gob replied
They finish up and look over their progress.
"Great job Gob." Ben complimented
Ben's Confession: Most of the people in this tribe works. The only ones not pulling their weight are Meowth and Crimson but at least Crimson cooks. Meowth has not done anything since we arrived.
"So, I know you are a captain…how is your crew?" Gob asked
"Pretty good. All of my officers are irreplaceable." Ben replied "Even the non-officers are some of the best I served with."
"Any bartenders?" Gob asked
"We have a guy named Quark…I do not suggest you follow in his footsteps." Ben said
Gob's Confession: Right now, Ben Sisko is my closest ally. He treats everyone with respect and can be brutally honest but in a positive way if that makes sense. If I could go to the final 3 with anyone it would be him.
Meowth walks past. "Nice job guys."
"Any luck fishing?" Ben asked
"New, too cold out. I am not dipping my hands in there." Meowth replied
"I thought you said you could make a pole?" Gob asked
Meowth shrugged "Yeah but it was too hard to do."
Meowth's Confession: We do not even have hooks for a fishing pole. Why should I make it? Besides I had to get an hour-long nap in or at least I could have if Farkas did not wake me out.
Immunity Day 6
Both tribes walk in.
"Welcome to immunity." Nighteye said "Gaz you can return back to your tribe. Today's challenge 7 members of the tribe will be pulling a sled. The last member will be on the sled and untying three bags and when you get back to the starting line that person will be constructing a puzzle. First tribe to get their puzzle done wins immunity. Daggerfall you have one extra member who will be sitting out?"
"Magikarp will." Aela said
"Okay let's get started." Nighteye said as everyone gets ready. Gaz and Crimson were on the sleds "Survivors ready…go!"
Both tribes started to pull the sleds with Morrowind Tribe got an early lead as Crimson easily untied the first bag just as Gaz started on her first bag. Morrowind Tribe easily grabs the next two bags as Gaz was on her second bag.
Morrowind got back to the starting area just as Gaz was untying the third bag.
"Morrowind Tribe has a huge lead!" Nighteye shouted. When Daggerfall Tribe got back Crimson was half done with the puzzle. Despite Gaz's attempts to catch up Crimson was done. "Morrowind Tribe wins immunity! Congratulations you are safe for tonight. Sorry Daggerfall tribe I have nothing for you."
Daggerfall Tribe Day 6
The tribe came back disappointed
"Well, that stunk." Aela said "They were just stronger than us."
"They had Gordon, Farkas, Ben, and Marco…all who are pretty strong." Alyx added "No one's fault that we lost."
Alyx's Confession: We lost immunity which does suck but I think the target is pretty self-explanatory. Magikarp offers nothing in this game and is a free boot. If he stays then it would be sabotaging us.
Aela, Alyx, Shepard, Kaiden, Gaz, and Ennui met up.
"So, the target is clear. We have to take out Magikarp." Aela said "He will just keep hurting us."
"I agree." Shepard replied "He is pretty useless."
"So, no debate then." Kaiden said
"I was hoping for Dib but he is a bit less useless…also I gave Gordon the clue." Gaz said "So once we merge, he can join us."
"Good." Alyx said
Aela's Confession: So far everything is going right for me. I am still a bit nervous since it is the first tribal Council this tribe went to and in my last season I went first. So, who knows? The smart choice is taking out the weakest.
The tribe split up as Kaiden and Shepard went their own way.
"So, should we stick with them?" Kaiden asked "Because that alliance is full of threats."
"I know what you mean." Shepard replied "Let's see what Dib and Magikarp want."
Shepard's Confession: As much as I like the alliance that was set up everyone in it is a threat. They are strong and likeable. I tried to play honorably my first time and did nothing but get voted out early. Maybe I should be less paragon and more renegade this time around.
Shepard and Kaiden met with Dib, Jake, and Magikarp by the lake.
"So, I am assuming that we are all in an alliance?" Shepard asked
"Yes, and Magikarp came up with a target as well." Dib said
"Alyx." Magikarp announced
"Wait but she is one of the most experienced here." Jake said with some concern "She is useful."
Dib's Confession: I was pretty surprised that Magikarp wanted to vote off Alyx. She is one of the few more normal people around here. Plus, I wanted to ask her of her alien experience but if that is the target that is a target.
"Well think about it." Magikarp said "Alyx has the most experience. She made it to the end before and she is likeable and good at challenges."
"Plus, her partner Gordon has the clue to the hidden immunity idol." Shepard added "We vote her out its limit's Gordon's power."
Kaiden's Confession: Magikarp makes some good points. Alyx is a threat and Aela also has power in this tribe. With Alyx gone it also limit's Aela's power. We do not want Aela out yet since she is a provider and we need strength.
Aela was watching from a distance.
"Well this is not good." Aela said as she goes and tells Alyx. "So, Shepard and Kaiden are looking to betray us."
"Darn it. Why do people want to make this more complicated?" Alyx replied
Alyx's Confession: So, for some strange reason I am being targeted. Couldn't they wait just after one Tribal Council before betraying us. But I cannot give up according to Aela Jake does not seem to be a on board.
Alyx goes up to Jake. "I know that I am a target." She said to him. "I do not think that it is time to vote out the threats."
"I know." Jake replied "But I am not in the main alliance. So, if Magikarp goes I might be next."
"What if I offered you a spot in the alliance?" Alyx offered "You can even replace Shepard and Kaiden."
Jake's Confession: So, I am in the middle of alliances right now. Alyx gave me a good spot in her alliance but they are full of threats while Dib wants me in his alliance but it would make the tribe weaker. I did not expect to be in this position on day 6.
"I will think about it." Jake said as elsewhere Aela confronts Kaiden and Shepard.
"So, you two are thinking of betraying us." Aela said
"I have no idea what you are talking about." Shepard lied as Kaiden looked a bit surprised.
"I caught you putting a target on Alyx…if you guys are making a move this early then the tribe will be doomed." Aela explained
"Well, we were giving Dib misdirection then…so he does not try to pull in Ennui." Shepard said as Ennui walks by.
"They never talked to me." Ennui said
Kaiden's Confession: Shepard keeps a straight face when he lies. It is kind of scary still Aela is right we are kind of jumping the gun on voting out a threat. I will talk to him one last time before we head off to see if he changed his mind on voting out Alyx.
Tribal Council
"Welcome to Tribal Council." Nighteye said "Everyone grab a torch and let's get started "So Gaz, how was your trip to the other tribe?"
"Only Crimson, Farkas, and Gordon were cool. No one else was…though Ben Sisko I guess is a decent leader." Gaz replied
"Shepard how as the first six days been?" Nighteye asked
"Pretty good so far. We all get along and Aela has done a great job at providing food." Shepard replied "We have not gone fishing yet but because Magikarp is in the lake and we prefer not to catch our own tribe member."
"Dib, what happened during the challenge today?" Nighteye asked
"Well, we were just outmuscled." Dib replied "They have a powerhouse like Farkas who is built like a tank. There is no one really to blame for losing this challenge."
"Alyx, should I assume that the weakest link will be voted out?" Nighteye asked
"Well I hope so but some people have a different idea." Alyx replied "For some reason I am a target."
"Well you are a threat." Magikarp replied "You came in second before."
"But I never won and I am productive in the tribe. Right now, we need strength over threat status or we will be crushed in every challenge." Alyx pleaded
"But when we get to the merge you can combine with the other tribe and move further into the game." Magikarp said
"You never know what would happen." Alyx said
"Kaiden, so it looks like it is between strength and threat status. Which is more important to you?" Nighteye asked
"Obviously strength but also who can I trust?" Kaiden said
"And I have proven my trust over two seasons." Alyx pleaded
"Alyx what is a good reason to keep you?" Nighteye asked
"Because we need strength, skill, and loyalty. I can do all three. Magikarp can't." Alyx replied
"Magikarp what is a reason to keep you?" Nighteye asked
"Because if I am voted out than the outsiders will be next." Magikarp replied "If I go then Dib, Jake, Shepard, and Kaiden will be next."
"Jake, want to add anything before we get to the vote?" Nighteye asked
"Well I hope that whoever I vote for does not take it personally." Jake replied
"It is time to vote…Gaz you are up first." Nighteye said as Gaz goes up and votes followed by Dib.

"Sorry but I do not want to be next." Dib said as Shepard votes followed by Kaiden then Alyx

"You are the weakest. Sorry." Alyx said as Aela votes.

"Should have stayed in the lake." Aela said as Magikarp votes.

"I do not want you to get to the merge again." Magikarp said as Ennui votes followed by Jake.
"I will read the votes." Nighteye said getting the urn "First vote…"

Alyx grabbed her things "Wow, playing hard already" she said as she came up with her torch
"Alyx the tribe has spoken" Nighteye snuffed her torch as she walked off "Another veteran voted off as it seems like experience is a disadvantage this time. Head back to camp."
Alyx's Final Words: Well this stinks. I was expecting to make the merge at least but I guess everyone considers me a threat again but I feel that this is way too early. Still good luck Aela and Gaz.
Next time on Survivor…with Alyx gone an alliance is reeling hoping to gain some ground as on Morrowind Tribe one survivor tries to make a power move.

Notes on the booted: Alyx was a surprise second boot with no fault but to some people wanting to make a power move.
