"How could they do something so cruel to her!?"
"I hope that they'll realize sooner or later that Lisanna was just playing with their minds. Its not fair for Lucy to be kicked out like this. And Wendy...OH GOD WENDY NEEDS TO BE HERE!"
"That's not possible. Right big brother?"
"No, bring Wendy here she can stay with Lucy."
"mmm"
"She's waking up Heather go now. Use a clone."
"You don't have to tell me twice."
"Lucy..."
An array of sunshine on my face woke me up. Darkness covered my right eye, which freaked me out, but I soon realized that it was only covered with a bandage.
"We're glad to see you awake, Princess." I shifted my gaze from the stony ceiling to Virgo.
"Virgo..." The said woman stood in front of a rectangle and cracked window, hands by her side. Her body was tense, as if on a lookout. For the first time in my life I saw Virgo angry.
"We're in a small abandoned cottage somewhere in the depths of the Akane Beach rainforest." The Lion Spirit cut me off.
"Akane Beach? Why?" I look around, the room we were in was small but big enough to house at least three people. I laid on a soft king bed, with a towel on my head and a light blanket. I lifted myself into a sitting position as Virgo spoke, "These parts aren't as dangerous as Crocus, but you still have wild animals here. This was one of the old homes of a Council Member, we asked him if we could use it." I stay silent for a few before saying something, but I decided against it.
"while you were unconscious, Heather took the liberty of contacting Makarov," My heart sank, " he apologized deeply several times. He couldn't believe it. He said...he said he wants you to come back whenever you feel ready."
Do I want to? Do I want to, only for more pain to be piled on to me? Maybe I should wait. Get stronger for myself and my spirits.
"I...I want to become stronger." My lips formed a thin line. My heart was beating like a wild horse, running from danger. Makarov, the only grandfatherly figure I've ever had. I can see his fury, his disappointment for his 'children' to mistreat one of their own with such hostility and venom.
"...Alright we'll begin after you've healed and are able to take your bandages off." Loke sighed
At the Guildhall
"Natsu, where's Lucy?" Wendy asked innocently not knowing anything.
"She...she left."
"But why?! We're her family."
"Grow up Wendy. Just let her go."
"But-"
"YO, WENDY!" Heather shouted as the guild doors flew wide opened. All eyes turned on her and the silent glares that Team Natsu showed.
"HEATHER?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" She shouted as she ran up and hugged her
"I'm here to pick you up so that you can learn more about healing from the spirit world ,did you forget?"
"SHE ISN'T GOING ANYWHERE WITH YOU!"
"NATSU! I've already discussed this with Porlyusica months ago." Makarov shouted with a hint of anger in his voice. Natsu sat down crossing his arms gritting his teeth. Makarov walked up to Heather and Wendy.
"Heather, I expect you to take care of her for the year."
"A YEAR?!" Natsu shouted
"Yes a year, don't worry she'll be at the palace with me, The Spirit King, my brother, and mother." Heather said closing her fists knowing if she didn't leave know then there would be blood shed.
"Oh, right I forgot. Well then I'll see you guys back in a year. Come on Carla." Wendy said waving off her friends goodbye and teleporting to the spirit world.
"GRAMPS HOW COULD YOU LET WENDY GO WITH THAT MONSTER?!"
"This was discussed a month ago Natsu. So I suggest you get over it."
"But-"
"THAT'S ENOUGH OUT OF YOU. I EXPECT YOU TO LEARN HOW TO RESPECT ONE'S WISHES. Wendy can learn a lot from Heather since she's a healer and a dragon slayer as well." Makarov said walking up the stairs into his office.
The Spirit World
"WOWW! It's so pretty here." Wendy smiled holding Heather's hand.
"Of course it is, but first how about we see Lucy."
"REALLY?!"
"HAHA yes really." She said teleporting Lucy, Loke, and Virgo.
"Huh?! Where are we?" I asked looking around but I noticed Heather and Wendy running toward us.
"LUCY!" Wendy shouted jumping towards me as I hit my head on the ground.
"Wendy?! Carla?! What are you two doing here?" I asked looking confused but I soon let it go and hugged both of them tightly with tears streaming down her face.
"I can't believe that your here. What are you doing here?" I asked letting both of them go.
"They were worried about you and we decided that they deserved the truth." Heather said standing next to her with her arms crossed.
"Natsu said that you left, but he said that I should forget about you and grow up. He sounded so angry when I brought you up."
"IS that what they told you?!" Loke said growling with hatred.
"Loke that's enough. She's only a child." Heather said disappointed at the lion spirits anger towards her. Loke sighed and apologized to Wendy.
"No Wendy that's not what happened to me. Everyone thought that I hurt Lisanna she even confessed that I did it when I clearly didn't but, no one listened to me and Natsu...Natsu tried to kill me." I told her, she looked so shocked that her so called 'friends' would hurt each other instead of listening to the truth. Wendy and Carla hugged me tightly and made sure that they stayed by my side no matter what.
Two weeks later
The days I've been training were intense, but Wendy, Carla, and I manage to pull through. I felt proud of myself. I felt strong not only in power but in strength too. As of now, I sat in a meditating position, concentrating on my magic. Capricorn instructed me to pattern my breaths. Sweat started dripping down to my temple, releasing more of my magic.
"Good, Miss Lucy. You're doing a splendid job, continue breathing and the expand the magical waves. This is the first step in letting your magic grow stronger." Capricorn instructed me. I concentrated my magic, urging the warmth of the golden tingles to expand. I could hear the hum of the glowing orb as it slowly grew.
WHOOSH!
A giant and powerful wind broke my focus, it threw me and Capricorn a few feet back. Of course, me being a clumsy person, I didn't stand on my feet, alert and ready to fight the intruder. I landed on my face, with a mouth full of sand and sea water.
"A DRAGON?!" Capricorn yelled increduloulsy.
"LUCY ARE YOU OKAY?!" Wendy shouted rushing to my side.
"I'm fine Wendy." I said as she helped me on my feet.
"Forgive me, but I caught the wind of a familiar Celestial trail. It reminded me of an old friend..." The voice was hard, yet soft. It was a man's voice. The voice...I think I've heard it before.
"Excuse me, but could you please tell us your name, Mr. Dragon?" I heard Wendy as I dusted myself.
"I am many names, but I'm mainly called Draco the Celestial Dragon." When I finally face the magnificent creature, I see a giant blob morphing into a man. He was very handsome. Silk black hair, dark blue eyes, creamy tanned skin, defined and toned muscles. His lips tugged into a kind and gentle smile, "Greetings, miss. I know who you are Lucy Heartfilia daughter of Layla Heartfilia, I knew your mother. She was my apprentice before she got married and pregnant." I clenched my heart upon hearing his words. He knew my mother? Trained her?
"You trained my mother, but aren't you a dragon? I thought that all of the dragons disappeared because of-" Th man cut me off.
"Yes but I didn't have a succesor unlike Igneel, Metalicana, and Grandeeny they all found successors, and I assume, you young one, are Grandeeny's successor?"
"Y...yes." Wendy said rocking back and forth.
"When it was time for us to go, I decided against it. But know I've found my potential successor," he said smiling with a gleam in his eyes, "If you're interested I can teach you everything I know about being a dragon slayer and their magic. If you agree then we'll begin immediately, but if you disagree well you don't have a choice in the matter."
My mouth and eyes went wide opened. He chuckled slightly and had his hand out.
"Well Ms. Lucy how about it." He smiled softly, cocking his head with his eyes closed.
"You should do it Lucy. Heather's already one and not only that but maybe I can learn healing magic from him too." Wendy begged me with puppy dog eyes. I shook his hand and smiled back at him.
"Alright then lets get started."
"I'm glad that you've agreed. This will be that hardest training of your life so you better be prepared." I nodded my head at my new master. This will definitely be one hell of a ride.
