Amy had made it to school just in time and still at least 5mins to spare. She approached Cream and Blaze with a pile of magazines and skipped over to Blaze's desk. "This is it! I know how we are gonna save Emerald High!" She cried out in glee.

Blaze looked at a pile of magazines in Amy's arms, she narrowed her eyes at her. "Those better not be idol magazines!"

Amy gasped as she started to throw a mini tantrum at Blaze's answer. "So what of they are! I know this will work and we can be so amazing!"

Cream just grabbed one of the magazines from Amy and she started the read through them. She smiled at all the pretty costumes that were in this magazine, even the hair styles looked really amazing. Cream was thinking of working into fashion when she goes to college and it made her smile more. She giggled as she looked over at Amy. "I think we would give it a try"

"Cream, that is so shameless of you!" Blaze exclaimed, grabbing the magazine, burning it to ashes. "I am NOT wearing any short dresses or skirts. I forbid it!"

This caught the attention of a certain blue hedgehog who sat near the girls. Sonic blinked over in their direction with confusion, he looked over to his best buddies. Tails and Silver, who were chatting among themselves. "Hey guys, what are they talking about over there?"

This caught both of their attention. Silver just shrugged at Sonic's question. "Judging by the magazines that pinky is holding, they look like school idol magazines"

"School idols?" Sonic responded. "Why would they have those?"

Tails pushed up his silver glasses higher on his face as he pulled out his phone. He looked it up online and started to explain. "It seems like School Idols are a new popular thing on Mobius. Girls from all over the country in different schools form singing groups to gain popularity. It doesn't sound easy as it looks"

"How do you mean?" Silver said, looking interested.

Tails looked at more information and started to explain more. "It requires a lot of dedication, dancing, loads of training and stamina build up. If those girls wanna form this idol group...they are gonna need some help"

On that note, Sonic rose up from his seat and made his way to the back of room towards Amy and her friends. This made the girls look up but this made Amy smile. "Hey Sonic!"

"Hey Amy, nice to see you again" He greeted back with a smile. "What's this I hear about idols?"

Blaze kept her arms folded and she still looked angry at what Amy suggested. There was no way she will become an idol! "You heard nothing of a sort! I'm not doing this!"

Cream frowned. "But Blaze, what if this was the only option we have? I at least wanna give it a try"

This made the blue hedgehog chuckle to himself as he grinned their way. He pulled out his ipod and gave Amy an ear bud to put into her ear. She blinked and popped it in, he started to play an awesome tune into it. "I compose my own music in my free time, you can use this tune if you like?"

Amy smiled brightly as she heard the tune into her ear, it sounded so cool! Cream took the other one and wanted to listen to it. She had smiled too. "Come on Blaze! It sounds so awesome!" Amy cried out in happiness. "We just need lyrics for it-"

"I refuse" She says, cutting her off. "Do you know how much time and energy this will take? This is nothing something you can just do! It requires dancing routines, lyrics, music, costumes and-"

Amy just grinned as she placed her arm around Blaze's shoulders, which caused the lavender cat to flush up. "You have thought about this, haven't you?"

Cream just giggled. Soon, Tails had made his way over with a sheet of paper and handed it to Cream. The rabbit girl blinked as she started to read the sheet of paper, she gasped as she started to read it. It was song lyrics. "Oh my...did you do these yourself?"

Tails nodded, smiling. "Uh huh! I wrote these weeks ago, you can use them if you like? We all wanna stop the school from closing too" Then he looked over at Amy and Blaze. "I can help with song lyrics, while Sonic can compose the music"

"HEEEEEY WHAT ABOUT MEEEE!?" Silver whined as he made his way over. "I WANNA HELP TOO!"

Blaze just rolled her eyes but then she saw that everyone's eyes were on her, like they were begging for her to say yes. All it took was for Cream to make the puppy dog face. "Blaze...PLEASE!?" Cream said, looking super adorable with her puppy face. And this made her blush more.

"O-Okay...fine, but if this fails then I want no more word about it"

"YAAAAY! BLAZE I LOVE YOU!" Silver exclaimed, hugging the purple feline with joy. This only caught her to set one of his quills on fire. "Ahhhhhh!"

Sonic used the water bottle and squirted a few droplets on them to put the flames out. After putting his bottle back, he smiled in the girls direction. "Now, you just need a team name and place to practise"

The bell chimed meaning that class is about to start. The boys went back to their seats at the front of the class, Amy quickly grabbed the magazines and hid them in her bag and started studying.

With the 1st years

Cosmo and Tikal were now starting their lesson and they were sitting at the back. Cosmo loved to study and she tends to get high grades in her work, unlike Tikal, who tends to daydream about chaos and chocolate. However, both of the girls sat near one girl, who they are a bit weary of. She was a purple bird, with 2 long feathers on the back of her head and 2 at the front. Her eyes were a pretty shade of blue as she studied. Her name was Wave The Swallow and she was one of the students who came from a wealthy family. Wave's family own their own hover board company, which she will take over one day.

Cosmo does know Wave hardly has many friends, and she was the victim of bullying by her two older brothers. Jet and Storm. But they were adopted and they were 3rd years at this school. Sometimes, she can hear Wave sing to herself in the music room. And she has a pretty good voice, for someone who is always grumpy. "What are you looking at?"

The green girl squeaked quietly, she was staring at Wave the whole time and her blue eyes met hers. "S-Sorry"

"Hmph" Wave grunted, scratching her beak in annoyance.

Tikal was normally very protective of her best friend and she glared in Wave's direction, she staid like that until the bell rang. Both Cosmo and Tikal gathered their things for break time. Wave slowly followed her way of the classroom and towards the music room, only that she was being stalked by her 2 brothers.

"Where do you think you're going?" Said one of the brothers. He was a green hawk with blue eyes and his feathers were slick back. "You trying to escape?!"

The 2nd brother just laughed. He was a grey albatross with blue eyes too, he was really big and buff. "Yeah, you tell her!"

Wave turned around to face the older boys with a glare. She hates them so much, they always make out they are much better than her! She can't stand it! "Leave me alone! You don't own me, I can do whatever I like without you two pestering me!"

On that note both Jet and Storm shoved her into the lockers with a loud bang. It caused the whole hallway to go silent that was filled with students. "We can do what we like with you, girly!" Storm said, keeping his large hand on Wave's throat. "So shut your mouth-" A gush of of sharp leaves at flown right in Storm's face, cutting it. "Ahhhhh! That freaking hurt!" This caused Storm to let go of Wave. And she fell to her knees.

"Leave her alone!" It was Cosmo. Her hands were glowing in a faint shade of green, Tikal was glaring right next to her.

Wave blinked over in their direction. They had saved her but why? Then, she saw that Sally and Rouge made their through the crowd. "What's going on here?" Sally said, flicking her hair. "I demand to know"

Jet blushed up as he eyed his classmate. "No-Nothing Sally, just a misunderstanding"

"Mhm" Rouge said, folding her arms. "Like we believe that, time to see the lady"

Both Jet and Storm held their heads low as Rouge led the two of the principal Vanilla. Sally made her way towards the 1st year and helped her up. "Are you alright?"

Wave slowly rose to her feet and coughed a little. "Yes, thank you senior" Then she looked over in Cosmo and Tikal's way and smiled slightly, making her way to them. "Thank you"

"Y-you're welcome" They both squeaked out. Maybe Wave isn't so scary after all?

Back with the 2nd years

Cream was happily drawing in her note book on what outfits to make for the song. They had decided to put on a mini concert in the school hall for next week, Amy and Blaze were looking around for somewhere to practise. Sonic and Silver had made some flyers to hand out to the students while Tails was with Cream to help her. "What do you think?" Cream said, holding out the drawing of the outfit.

Tails looked it over and beamed at what it looked like. It was a sleeveless dark pink knee high dress, with white tights and pretty converse shoes that sparkle. It look really cute. He gave a thumbs up with a wink. "It looks great!"

"Really?" Cream blushed lightly. She hugged her drawing with so much love. "Amy will wear the pink one, Blaze will have purple and I'll have the dark orange"

Tails chuckled. "Sound's good to me!"

Amy came rushing back into the classroom, with Blaze walking behind her. The pink hedgehog squealed as she sat back in her chair, eyeing the pair. "We have found somewhere to practise! I'm so pumped!"

Blaze also sat down in her seat, eyeing them too. "You came out with an outfit idea yet?"

Cream nodded as she showed them the picture. Amy's eyes sparkled while Blaze looked totally disturbed. Blaze grabbed the drawing and eyed those long stick things on it. "Cream...what are these long things?"

The rabbit giggled. "Legs"

"LEGS!?" She cried out, looking disgusted. Raising from her chair, pointing a finger at Cream "I AM NOT WEARING A DRESS THAT SHORT! UNDERSTAND!?"

Tails suddenly got a little defensive, eyeing the angry feline. No one shouts at his new friend and gets away with it. "Hey, the outfit looks great! Don't be so mean about it!"

The purple student just grumbled as she sat back down. "Sorry...that aside, we still need a name"

Soon, a piece of paper flew through the classroom door and landed on Amy's desk. She blinked as she looked at it and it had their names on it. This made Cream, Blaze and Tails look up at the paper too. "Well, open it"

Amy took a deep breath and opened it up, and it read:

EmeraldZ (it also had a drawing of an emerald with the name across it)

"EmeraldZ?" Cream echoed, saying its name.

Blaze smiled at the name, she nodded in Amy's direction. "It sounds good, giving the fact that we study at Emerald High"

Amy pumped up her fist into the air and cheered. "Yes! We shall be called 'EmeraldZ' Let's go ladies! To the roof!" Amy had dashed off with Blaze and Cream walking behind her. They were unaware that a pair of teal coloured eyes were watching them the whole time.

In the student council room, Sally was sorting out the paper work for the club activities. She had heard that Amy and her friends are forming an idol group and she says its a waste of time. Emerald High had never had an school idol group before and she knows that this will fail, this will not help the school...it will make the school look like a joke. She sighed as she was hearing noises up from the roof.

One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight

She glared up at the ceiling, she could hear them practising up there. Sally had to tell them to stop with the idol nonsense soon or Vanilla will find out about it. Soon, the door opened and Rouge had returned with a smirk on her face. "They are dealt with, Sallychi~" She says.

"Rouge, stop calling me Sallychi" Sally groans, playing with her hair at the same time. "You may have been calling me that since we were kids...we aren't children anymore"

Rouge pouted and folded her arms with a grin. "Whatever you say...Sallychi"

"I give up with you, batgirl" Sally grins back in her direction, using her nickname towards her friend. Rouge walked over and joined Sally at the table. "You were gone for a while, where else did you go?"

Rouge sat down in her chair and pulling out her make up. "I was on my way back until I heard those second years forming a group"

"Yes. Those boys, Sonic and Silver are handing out flyers about an up coming performance of theirs" Sally says, with annoyance written on her face. "Why does that amuse you?"

The bat finally finished applying her lipstick and moved on to her eye shadow. "Well, I didn't give them any pointers or anything but...I gave them a group name"

"YOU DID WHAT!?" Sally yelled out, slamming her hands on the table and Rouge looking calm as anything. "Why would you do that!?"

Rouge just closed her eyes and smiled, putting her eye shadow palette down and the brush. "Oh come on, let the girls have some fun. Who knows...maybe a certain girl will join them~"

Sally blushed up slightly as she saw the look that Rouge was giving her. It was a look of 'I-Know-You-Want-To' kinda look. Sally folded her arms and looked serious. "I don't what girl you are talking about, but it won't be me"

Knock Knock!

"Come in?"

The door opened and 2 more 3rd years had came in. They were both males, one was a black hedgehog with red high lights and red eyes. The other was a red echidna with violet eyes. "Knuckles, Shadow" Rouge greeted with a slight flirt in her voice. "What brings you here?"

"I heard that my sister was sticking up for Wave?" Knuckles muttered over to them. "Tikal wasn't hurt was she?"

Sally shook her head. "No, she was fine. Cosmo did most of the attacking back but they were both fine"

Shadow, who was apart of the student council, took his seat next to the ground squirrel with his report. "Other than the bullying issue dealt with and the stupid idol concert announcement, everything is in order" Shadow had handed Sally a flyer of the upcoming performance. "The silver hedgehog handed me one of these, how pathetic"

Sally and Rouge looked over at the flyer. It was a photo of the 2nd years in their school uniforms, Amy looking excited as ever, Cream with a cute smile and a wave while Blaze was flushed up and her ears were flat. And it said;

Come and see EmeraldZ performance next Friday after school at 4pm. We hope you guys can make it!

"I will put an end to this" Sally said, crumbling the paper in her hands.
