Olivia walks into the squad room the next morning trying to think about anything other than the positive test she took last night.
Pregnant. With Brian Cassidy's baby. The man who she told their hook-up meant nothing. That it wasn't personal. Too bad that's exactly what it had become.
She sits down at her desk and blows out a deep breath, running a hand through her hair.
"Good morning, sunshine." Elliot says as he walks up to his desk. "Feeling any better?"
Olivia nods slowly. "Yeah, so much better."
If you left out the morning sickness and unexpected pregnancy then yes, she was fantastic.
"Great, glad to hear it. We have our case from yesterday that we got nowhere on, so I'll give ya twenty minutes to settle in before we get started?"
Olivia smiles and nods before turning her computer on to get started on the day.

I have to tell him. He has the right to know.
Olivia was sitting at her desk, lost in her thoughts, as her co-workers discussed the details of their most recent case.
"Benson. Benson?" Cragen's voice flooding her thoughts brings her out of them, and she looks up at him. "You with us?"
"Yeah, yeah. Uh, can I have a few minutes? I'm still not feeling so hot."
Cragen just nods and motions toward the door, and Olivia stands up quickly and walks out of the squad room.
She was sitting at the table in an interrogation room, staring at a wall, when the door opens slowly. She picks her head up and immediately expects to see Elliot, but her jaw drops when she sees Brian walk in.
"I've never seen you leave the squad room as much as I have the last three weeks. Everything okay?"
Olivia nods slowly and swallows hard. "Yeah, I-uh-I have something to tell you."
Brian's eyes got wide when she falls silent, and he shrugs. "Liv. What's up?"
She blows out a breath and bites her tongue to hold back the tears. "I'm pregnant."
"Oh, uh, congrat-"
"It's yours, Brian. I'm having your baby."
Brian sucks in a breath and suddenly gets extremely light-headed, so he leans back against the brick wall. "Oh, okay, um…"
"I don't expect us to get together because of this, hell I don't even know if I want to keep it, but I know you had a right to know, so I told you." Olivia nods, slams her hands softly on the table, and stands up to walk out of the room.
She was going home. She just needed some time.

"So, it's his baby, huh? How do you feel about that?"
Olivia shrugs and picks up the mug in front of her to take a sip. "I don't know. I don't even know if I want to keep it. I mean, I've always wanted to be a mom, I just didn't think I'd have to do it by myself."
"How is Brian handling all of this?"
Olivia sighs. "He hasn't really spoken to me since I told him. Can't say I blame him, though. I told him I didn't want a relationship, now I'm having his baby."
Jeffries sighs and nods. "Listen, Liv, I know it's hard, but you'll figure it out. If you want this bad enough, you'll do it. With or without him. And you're going to be amazing."
She smiles and swallows back the tears. Damn these pregnancy hormones. Monique was right though: she would figure this out. With or without Brian Cassidy's help.

Two weeks later
Brian not speaking to her these last two weeks was torture to her, she couldn't lie. Her body was growing and changing every day, and with the hormones getting stronger, it was killing her.
She was sitting in her apartment, absent-mindedly flipping through channels on the T.V. and sipping herbal tea when the knock on her door interrupts her thoughts.
"Yeah, hang on!" She yells, setting her mug down and scrambling off of the couch. "I'm coming."
Olivia gets to the door and opens it slowly, and she gasps when she sees who's on the other side of it.
"Brian…"
