It's been thousand's of years since they shattered Rose Quartz, aka Pink Diamond and yet she still remember's it clearly. I don't even know what Pink saw in the people here and I don't think my Diamond understands it either. She decided to leave Homeward behind and stay here, she even poofed her self and reformed at a smaller size to try and stay hidden from them. Around a year ago she wanted to help them like how Pink helped them and started a small Almond farm near on old barn, We sometimes notice a long haired human near there every once in a while but he doesn't seem to notice us.
"my Diamond, the human's that take the Almonds are here".
"ok Pearl I will be right there"
About thirty minutes later the human's leave and the moment tears fall down my face I know that my Diamond is sad again.
"The almonds aren't growing anymore, we can't help the human's any more until next year"
My Diamond always hated this time of the year since she can't help them unlike the rest of the year. the Countryside began to change and get snowy and everything was going how it usually did last year until one night when the man we usually see by the barn starts to walk over and starts talking to us.
"hi I've always noticed you two over here but never understood why two gems would work on a farm, especially since they don't even need to eat"
"We grow almonds here to help human's like how someone near and dear to us used to help humans before she was sha… passed on".
My Diamond paused and changed her wording so the human could understand better, and just talking about Pink got her sad again.
"I kinda understand how you feel, I haven't lost anyone but my parents didn't like the work I was doing and they felt like I was throwing my life away, they're still alive but our current relationship feels like they're gone and the worst part is it's all my fault our relationship is ruined even though I didn't even intend to ruin it "
"How peculiar, a human as small as you is capable to understand or even relate to how I feel, but can't you just talk to them"
"Well not exactly, its been a few years since I talked to them but I don't think they'd be too happy if I called them up out of the blue especially if I mention that my manager abandoned me after getting upset that I was giving away free t-shirts to random people and didn't even put the thought earning money first. Sometimes I feel like I did throw my life away"
All of a sudden my Diamond started encouraging him, I think she was thinking of what Pink would say.
"You're not throwing your life away, you're living your life to the fullest not being confined to one duty"
"Aw thanks for the encouragement, anyway it's getting kinda late and I gotta drive my van back into town before the snow gets too bad, thanks for chat uh… I'm sorry but I don't even know your name".
" My name is… Diane" Blue Diamond says
"Well it was nice to meet you, My name's Greg".
And with that he walked back to his barn and left me and my Diamond alone again.
"My Diamond why did you give him a fake name".
"I'm not gonna tell him about the Diamond authority or even hint to it, I want to try and focus on the future, here".
"Will we ever see him again my Diamond".
"I'm sure we will and if he doesn't go to us then we will go to him, I want to help him".

I do want to continue this but I'm not sure if I want to do a second chapter of this or a prologue talking about the shattering "incident" and what happened to to rose's crew
