I changed POVS midway through since I felt so uncomfortable-

The first time I opened my eyes, I noticed the room I was in. I scrunch my nose in disgust. It was my room in the manor. Immediately, I assumed my mother had saved me from the suicidal attempt. Everything had been merely a dream. I growled in annoyance. Was this some kind of joke?

There was a soft knock, "Master Draco? It is time for you to be up!" A soft voice spoke up. He was confused- who was this again?

He quickly got off his bed to open up the door. There stood a house-elf- although not Dobby considering he was dead.

"Y-yes Master Draco? O-OH! Have I forgotten something? Stupid! Must be punished!" The house elf quickly placed my tray of food in my hands as he started to slam his head on the wall. Each time, I had winced.

"You did not forget anything- I'm satisfied with the food." I quickly soothed the elf, who had looked at me with wide eyes.

"I-Is Master Draco sure- did not forget anything?" The house elf questioned me and I immediately nodded my head.

"Very well Master Draco! Is needed to remind you to quickly fix yourself- after all, Master Draco has a long ride ahead of them." With a pop, the house elf was gone.

Long ride? What did he ever mean? With that I walked back in my room, placing the tray down. Since when have I been so short? I ran my hands through my hair going inside the bathroom that brought back a memory that'll haunt me forever.

I stared at myself in the mirror for a long time. Until finally- I noticed I was no longer sixteen...

I'm bloody thirteen.

The shock wore off once I realized that I was currently living my second chance. Lady Hecate was real. My father- not Lucius- was real. I had already gotten dressed and downed my breakfast, quickly going down to meet my mum and 'father.' My mum had hugged me, smiling at me with the smile that had always comforted me.

I can't believe I was always a papa's boy when my mum was right in front of me.

Lucius merely looked at me, growing impatient as he already wanted to drop me off at the express. And I couldn't wait too- what will be my plan this time? Will I befriend Potter? But those thoughts were no more as I realized one thing-

I was in my third year.

Already enemies with Potter.

With these thoughts, I didn't notice how my mum quickly grabbed hold of my hand and Lucius'-taking us through the floo to where we had to go through the brick wall. The house elf was already waiting there, with my baggage. I smiled at the house elf, going unnoticed by Lucius but quickly noticed by my mother. She did not say anything, only turning to me and hugging me once more. Lucius awkwardly patted my shoulder.

Gods, how worse could this transaction be?

Mum questioned if I'd be okay with going by myself to the train, which I had simply replied with "I'm fine, mum."

With the reassurance- mum and Lucius quickly flooed away- leaving me alone with the house elf who was struggling with my baggage.

"Go back home, I can handle this." I coolly told the house elf who had squeaked out 'Yes Master Draco.' Now I was alone, running through the familiar brick wall and seeing everyone saying goodbye to their own family. I quickly pushed my cart along- ignoring the whispers. One of the servers quickly took my cart away- probably a worker for Lucius. I thanked the man and quickly boarded the train.

At this moment, I did not want to associate with Crabbe and Goyle. With no seconds to stop, I entered a compartment that was empty...where Slytherins would likely avoid as the other compartments were already filled with people I know are Gryffindors.

Everything was quiet for a while as I watched the crowd from outside slowly leave. The train would be leaving soon.

I close my eyes, already feeling the familiar movement of the train leaving. My peace was ruined when someone entered the compartment.

"Sorry...the other compartments are full, is it possible for me to stay here?" I recognized the voice as I turned to look at Lovegood. I nodded carelessly as my gaze drifted to her eyes. She had a faraway look on her.

"My name's Malfoy, Draco Malfoy," I spoke to her first, as she continued to bring out a magazine- she held it upside down.

"Luna Lovegood," She let her name flow out in a soft voice.

I nodded, "What house are you in?" I questioned her- I should at least befriend someone who wouldn't have much for a while.

"Ravenclaw.." She murmured peacefully, putting her magazine down to look at me once again. "You seem to have some wrackspurts floating about.."

"Interesting- I've never noticed." She smiled at what I had said and picked her magazine back up.

This would be a long ride.

Gods this was a really long ride for Draco. He felt tired and already wanted the ride to end. But alas, he still had to wait for the Dementor to appear...and it did. The compartment suddenly went cold. He could see his own breath as well as Lovegoods. With a quick motion, he went to grab a hold of the compartment door. It stayed close for a while as the Dementor suddenly started to float by. Before it could pass, it turned to make contact with Draco.

Draco could not see the face- but he was capable of seeing that it wanted to make contact with him- not to take him away...

But to greet him.

Draco had just nodded as he watched the Dementor continue on to where Draco knew Potter was located. So Draco relaxed, taking notice that Lovegood stared at him. "Your wrackspurts seem to be in a frenzy."

Draco just sighed.

Later, the sorting hat had started to sing and Draco felt bored as he sat by himself- he was away from the two meatheads he had as bodyguards. He wanted to leave them behind- he just wanted to be alone.

Alone.

That sounds nice.

Was he still a bad guy? Did he even deserve this? He wanted to fix this- didn't he? Have another solution than what he had done...Will he protect Potter? Help them? Even if he did help them... would he make things worse?

Draco was now panicking. Gods, he's such a mess. He didn't know what to do. He didn't know. He didn't. He didn't. Hades...help him. The boy was still freaking out. Would he really fix things? He was a Slytherin after all- they made the most mess. They were considered the evilest...Such a mess he was.

So- while everyone simply enjoyed the feast. While everyone was making new friends...Draco was once again alone. Looking down at the food in front of him. He just wanted to sleep...forever..

He didn't notice how the ghosts that wandered around whispered about him.

The Son of Hades.

How did they not notice before?

He was here.

And they were afraid.
