when Ash, Cassie and Kitana made it the tournament with Raiden and Liu kang going to see which Raiden the speaks to Ash "Since we wait I would like answers from you young one of how you, Cassie cage and Kitana from a other different timeline end up here in this tournament?" Raiden asked him how he, Cassie and Kitana end up here at the first place

Ash replied
He then looks down at his hand compose he takes off his ring. He stares at it "what is the future I'm providing for my family and my friends I had known and loved all these years." Ash said in his thoughts thinking of the future And then he wind blows through he looks around thinking that a window must have popped open Ash then looks to the door and again nothing then he hears sparking like a short in a circuit he looks around and then the world wind starts blowing around in his office and above him a portal opens up again any can tell something's coming in at full force Ash just sighs "here we go again" before he is crushed by a unknown figure on top of him.
"Why was I always get people landing on me all the time." Ash replied as he gets up and saw the figure who landed on him was Cassie which she didn't know her that time
"Oh my." Ash said as he first saw her then he takes her to he's bed he's lays her there "There." then Ash can tell her suit of armor was completely dusty "You need a clean clothes on." Ash replied as he cast a spell to change her suit of armor into nice nightgown. "There she be all better till she wakes up." Ash replied as He then takes her suit of armor to get clean and the weapons to Ruby to clean. Set up alarm too
"I bet she will wake up tomorrow." Ash said as he fix her drone up then notice Raiden's amulet was on the floor
"This is new?" Ash said he believes it belongs to her he leaves it at his desk till tomorrow while later morning hits "Awww my head." Cassie said as she comes around notices the Gown she's wearing "A gown...Wears my clothes?" she said as Cassie sees her clothes neatly folded and weapons off to this side next to a plate of food. She looks around at the big room and the large bed she's in.
"Where am I?" said Cassie as she then saw Ruby came in with water "Hi there you're awake." she said to her
"Uh...hi...how did I get there?" Cassie asked her "Well I only cleaned your weapons, Sakura made the food for you and Ash our husband cleaned your clothes." said Ruby as Cassie was confused.
"Did she say their husband as in they are both married to the same guys." Cassie said in her mind But she keeps that to herself
"Thanks..." she didn't know her name as Ruby spoke "Ruby rose!" said Ruby
"Cage..." she said not telling her first name "if you want Cage you are more than welcome to use the shower you don't want to smell bad." she said as Cassie thought of it then smiles
"Thanks Ruby but where would I find Ash you speak of." she asked her "Oh he's at the library studying that amulet he found when you dropped on him." said Ruby as Cassie remembers
"Shinnok's Amulet!" Cassie runs out of the room she worried he might mess with it "Hey wait you can't run to him in a nightgown!" Ruby shouted to her just then Cassie found the library and saw Ash for the first time studying the amulet searching for history about it in the books Twilight give him
"Dang all the books I'm looking had nothing but it's best to leave it in the table." Ash replied as he heard the noise then turns around saw Cassie in the nightgown
"Oh you're awake." said Ash as Cassie notice the amulet on the table as Ash look at it "It's ok I didn't use it I try to find history about it but couldn't." Ash replied as she was relieved "Actually I know where it came from and I'm cage." said Cassie
"Pleasure to meet you cage I'm Ash." said Ash as Cassie was surprised that this young man about her age is Ash then she spoke more "Ash were you the one who did this." Cassie asked as he stare at the nightgown she's wearing
"Yes your suit of armor was dusty and I use my magic to switch you to a nightgown and I wash your clothes up." Ash said to her as she heard him say magic
"Are you a sorcerer?" she asked but Ash denies it "I'm no sorcerer I'm a half human half Alicorn an magical creature that was like a pegasus and has a horn." Ash said to her
"Sorry but...thank you." she said as Ash then asked Cassie something "Where did you come from cage?" he asked
"I was at the netherealm leading my troops to fight off Liu kang who was a undead." Cassie said as she remembered her and the troops go to the headquarters.
"We should open a dialogue. Maybe there's an explanation. Liu Kang and Kitana were friends once." said Cassie
"They are irreparably polluted by Shinnok's evil. They are no longer the champions we once knew We must strike them preemptively." said Raiden who was not what he is at Cassie's timeline "It's about time we brought the fight to them. What's the target?" said Sonya blade
"Burned deep beneath Liu Kang and Kitana's castle is the Cathedral of Shinnok, the seat of their power. Destroy it and their undead army will fall, removing its threat to Earthrealm." said Evil Raiden
"Aren't your powers weaker in the Netherrealm?" said Cassie
"Yes. But I will have sufficient strength to occupy the undead army." Raiden tells them
"That'll buy us enough time to infiltrate the Cathedral. Destroy it from the inside." said Sonya "We get pinned down in there, there's no way out." Cassie replied
"To ensure Earthrealm's survival, we must all be willing to sacrifice." said Raiden
"Y'know it's been two years too much of your grim and gritty makeover, droning on about sacrifice. You don't have a family to lose." said Johnny who is getting ready
"I know loss, Johnny Cage." said Raiden
"Raiden's right, Johnny. We're not ready for another war. We've got to take out Netherrealm's army now, before Liu Kang can bring it here." as Evil Raiden teleports Sonya, Cassie and her army to battle against armies of demons.
"We're in position. Hope Raiden's planned one helluva diversion." said Cassie
"Withdraw! Or feel the wrath of Earthrealm's Protector!" Raiden said as He uses Shinnok's amulet and destroys several creatures. Meanwhile, resurrected Liu Kang and Kitana are watching the battle from a tower nearby. They sent reinforcements – Kabal and Jade along with fresh demons meat to beat.
"Should Raiden get this far, eliminate him." said Jade talking to kabal "That burn victim's Kabal? Wasn't he Kano's goon back in the day?" said Cassie looking at Kabal
"Don't let the scars fool you. He's fast. Take out him and Jade. I'll go downstairs and set the C4." said Sonya
"Roger that." said Cassie as They begin a massive attack on the tower. Surprisingly soldiers using the battle formation and tactics, so they don't die very often. Kabal enters the battle, fast as the wind. He kills one of the soldiers.
"Move! Charges on every column!" said Sonya as the soldiers are placing charges
"You're a dead ringer for your mother." said Kabal talking to Cassie
"I'll kick your ass on her behalf, Kabal." said Cassie as her and Kabal fight to give mom time then Kabal runs forward at a very fast speed going for Cassie as she leaped making Kabal miss then she fights fights back Cassie restrains Kabal as the drone homes in at his groin. A moment later it flies forward and strikes them, and as he double over in pain, she draws her gun and aims at the back of his head, firing a single shot and sending him flying and she won the fight
"You lose as fast as you run. Jacqui, where's Jade?" Cassie said to her friend Jacqui briggs "She bailed. Getting help, I'm sure." she said
"General, how we doing?" said Cassie
"Need ten minutes. The support columns are further apart than expected." Sonya replied
"You need help?" Cassie asked Sonya "Negative. Just watch our back." she replied to her daughter "Ten more minutes? We needed to be tail-lights in five." then They hear a scream coming from somewhere above.
"Well we're in the shit now. We have extra C4, yeah?" said Cassie
"Yeah. Why?" said Jacqui
"Let's buy ourselves time." said Cassie Meanwhile, the Evil Raiden is battling hordes of demons outside. Jade walks up to the resurrected Kitana and Liu Kang. "Emperor! Empress! Earthrealmers have captured the Bone Temple!" said Jade
"But Raiden --" as Kitana and Liu kang looks at Raiden "He's the diversion!" said the resurrected Liu kang then Cassie sets the C4. "Lock and load." said Cassie as her and the team are ready they heard screams of the demons charging as they trigger the C4 then explodes the battle started then Sonya heard a tremor
"What's going on up there?!" Sonya replied "Watching your back, General." but all of the sudden Kitana attacks Cassie.
"Kitana. "Empress" of the dead." said Cassie looking at the Resurrected Kitana
"I've not forgotten our last encounter at the Sky Temple." Kitana said to her "How are your scars healing?" as Cassie fights Kitana hand to hand battle Kitana throws one of her fans to Cassie which cut her sleeve Cassie hits her with a spinning backfist, grabs the drone and channels its electricity through her fist then Cassie shoots her shin and performs a backflip kick then won the fight

"Move! Move, move, move!" Sonya is trying to lead her soldiers, but Liu Kang gets in the way. He destroys the passage, burying the soldiers and Sonya under the rubble.
"General? General!!" said Cassie who was worried of her mother "She's trapped, Cassandra Cage." said resurrected Liu kang
"How "The Chosen One" has fallen. Raiden's right. Whatever Shinnok did to you, you're a lost cause." Cassie said going to fight the one was a friend to her parents Liu Kang flies across and connects with a kick to the Cassie's torso then she fights back more overpowering him Cassie grabs Liu kang and suplexes them backwards while the drone collides with their head mid-flight then Cassie glows green and then quickly dashes forward and rams the Liu kang with her shoulder.
"Fuck. You. General, can you hear me?! General? Mom?" said Cassie was moving the rubble getting to her mom was trapped
"I'm here, Cass." said Sonya
"Hang tight. We'll get you guys out." Cassie said to her "They're gone, Cass. And I'm not gonna make it." Sonya tells her
"What? I'm not leaving you behind!" Sonya said to her "Get your team home. That's an order. Your duty. Mine's to finish the mission." Sonya replies holding the trigger "Mom, no! We can save you!" Cassie said
"I love you, Cass. Give your dad a kiss for me." Sonya shared her final words to her daughter "Mom, no don't -- Mom? Mom!" but Sonya squeezes the trigger. while Cassie continues moving the rubble
"She's started the detonation sequence!" she said to Cassie
"Override it, Jacqui!" Cassie tells her friend "There is no override! Commander! Our orders are to leave." Jacqui tells her as Cassie had no choice but to follow the order then The army of demons appears.
"C'mon, move it!" Cassie said as The heroes start to run when the cathedral explodes they made it to raiden in time. They leave the temple by Raiden teleported them back to headquarters
"Your mother died a warrior's death. May we all be so fortunate." said Raiden
"You did not just say that." said Jacqui as Evil raiden is going to leave until "By the Elder Gods!" He disappears. Only Shinnok's amulet drops on the ground. "Raiden!" said Cassie as she picks up the Amulet but Jacqui saw Cassie disappeared as well "Cassie!" she said
"Then that was it I thought I was history until I crashed at your room was it?" said Cassie as Ash nodded "Yes you did and I now know what that is but I'll leave it alone knowing that thing is polluted with dark magic." he said to her
"Thank you for letting me stay Ash but is there a chance I get back to my timeline." she said to him "Maybe but you would mind getting dressed before someone peeks underneath miss cage." Ash said to her as she was embarrassed by that "Right and Ash just call me Cassie." said Cassie telling him her first name
"That's a cute name you had." Ash said as She blushes but makes sure that he doesn't notice when she looked away with a smile. "Thanks Ash." as Cassie left to get changed and have a hot shower But Ash does notice she blushed do to his aura.
by then Ash has given her the tour around his home and his world and she goes inside to talk to the other girls she sees both highly mechanized robots like the one Asuka drives but also see sentient robots the Transformers then also see Magic with Princess Twilight Princess Celestia and Luna also the elemental benders as well and she's very overwhelmed by the amount of his home "How in the world did such a world exist!" as Cassie notice Ash heard that
"well Cassie you must have come from a different dimension of Earth so many things happen on my Earth rather than on Earth." Ash replied hen she starts to understand exactly what's going on and she wonders what happened on her world and what is going on there right now
all of the sudden a wing blew from the other side as a other portal opens
"Damn it not again!" said Ryuko as they see who came out was the Kitana from the other dimension was flying towards them as Ash saved her from not getting killed "Who is that girl Ash!" said Naruto as Cassie had a look at her "Kitana...how is it possible she's back to herself." she wondered as Ash's eyes were light blue glowing but notice her memories are different but in sorrows
"She's from a different timeline." as Cassie look at him "Really how can you tell." she asked as Ash use his ability to see memories "She is from a other dimension but a different timeline but she's alone with no one." he said as Kitana open her eyes and saw Ash
"Who are you?" she asked him "An friend but don't worry you had a rough landing from the portal and I believe you're from a other timeline of the other dimension." said Ash
"Yes it's true Ash." as he saw Arceus comes to him standing before him got Cassie freaked out as Elsa calm her down "Don't worry Cassie he's a friend." she said as Cassie calm down "What brings you here Arceus." Ash asked him "To tell you something Ash about your new friend Cassie and this Kitana from a other timeline came from thier separate worlds are the same explains and there is more your next step in learning to prepare yourself for the final battle that's coming. you are participating in a tournament known as mortal kombat but there are rules here allow by other gods Ash but that's not it our ancient enemy Kronika has return." he said
"Kronika?" Ash asked
"Mistress of time she is plotting to restart time when she learn her son Shinnok was beaten by Cassie cage long ago." he said to him
"So that explains the portals are out of control at our universe because Kronika's time powers are tampering it." said Twilight as Ash had no choice at all
"When is Mortal kombat is going to happen" Ash asked him as Arcues don't want to let him fight Kronika but there is no choice "I will set you, Cassie and Kitana back to the beginning before she is born." he said as the portal was open Ash was all set with his equipment and his blood blade Cassie gets to see and saw how it changes to a shotgun then changes back
"Wow, I want one of those." said Cassie as they are ready "Well this is it." Ash said as him, Cassie and Kitana went in the portal

"And that was it we had enter the arena before you." as Ash shows Raiden Shinnok's Amulet look like his "Then it is true, keep the amulet safe." Raiden said as Ash bowed then puts it inside his pocket now they're watching who's going first
"Our first kombatant will be Mr. Cage! Johnny laughs defiantly and strides forward." said Shang tsung as Johnny was up the arena
"That's right! That's right! Who's it gonna be?" Johnny asked
"Reptile!" Tsung said as Cage looks toward a rooftop of the arena. Reptile materialises on the rooftop (having been observing while invisible) and jumps to the arena floor to the monks applause. "Nice stunt! Who's your agent?" Johnny asked thinking he's a actor
"Does he know that's real." Ash asked Cassie "Not exactly Ash." she replied
"Begin!" said Shang tsung
"All right, it's showtime! They fight." as everyone watches Cage gets his chance to show off his considerable martial skills against the Zaterrean assassin. After a fierce exchange, Cage shows he can back up his trash talking by managing to defeat Reptile. "He got Caged! That's it, ha haa! Oh yeah! I'm so pretty!" Ash, Cassie, Kitana, Liu Kang and Raiden watch Johnny's gloating with equal amounts of disgust. Cage then stalks up to several of the observing kombatants.

"...for dinner!" Johnny snickers as Sonya reacts with disdain. "Your second challenge, Mr. Cage. Baraka!" said Shang tsung as The Tarkatan warrior roars out loud and jumps to the arena floor to the monks applause. "Baraka?" Ash wondered as the other Kitana spoke "He's a Tarkatan Ash dangerous with thier weapons within thier skin." she said as Ash wondered why she mean that
"Hmmm, ok... Nice makeup, but is it really necessary?" said Johnny thinks he's a actor too as Baraka unsheathes his arm-blades. "Woah!" said Johnny was surprised even Ash. "Now I understand what she mean." he said "They will taste your flesh!" Baraka said as They fight. Even though he's just fought an intense battle with Reptile, Cage shows he still has the stamina to take on Baraka. After another hard fought exchange, Cage manages to emerge victorious and still has the energy to keep talking.
"Man, I love those blades! My producer has got to meet you! We're doing "Tommy Scissorfists", and--" as Johnny was cut off
"Congratulations, Mr. Cage. Now, FINISH HIM!" said Shang tsung
"Finish him? Yeah, right!" Johnny refuses
"Kill him!" as Johnny looks to the crowd. Sub-Zero and Cyrax look on in anticipation, as do Quan Chi and Scorpion. Cage begins to realise the gravity of his situation. "Woah! Woah, woah, wait a second! I'm not gonna kill anyone!" said Johnny as Liu Kang throws a confused look at Raiden, who takes in the scene impassively.
"That's my dad there." Cassie said to Ash "Not bad Cassie your dad knows how to fight." said Ash as Cassie couldn't help but smile
"Very well." He stands up from his chair. "The tournament will resume at dawn! He turns around and departs."said Shang tsung as The monks all rise and start to do the same.
"What, that's it? Really?" as No one answers him. Johnny turns around and rubs his hands in anticipation.
"Now where'd that hottie go?" Johnny replied when Cassie facepalmed "You seem embarrassed by that Cassie." Ash asked As she nodded "This is why I'm in therapy Ash." she said as they watch him leaves, Johnny finds Raiden and Liu Kang walking up to him.
"You fought well." said Raiden
"Thanks. Nice hat." Johnny replied "You should be more respectful of Lord Raiden. He is the protector of Earthrealm, the God of Thunder, the--" as Liu kang was cut off "Look, I don't know what kind of role-playing you guys are into, but count me out." He turns to leave but Kang steps in his path.
"This tournament is more than a chance for personal glory. We are fighting for the very survival of Earthrealm." said Liu kang
"What are you talking about?" said Johnny
"Your last opponent was Tarkatan. He was born with those blades." Raiden tells him as Johnny is bieng sarcastic "Yeah, those things are real." he said as Two guards pick up Baraka's unconscious form and carry him off.
"He represents Outworld. Had you lost, the emperor Shao Kahn would have come one step closer to physically absorbing our world into his." said Raiden
"Outworld, yeah right, right..." said Johnny
"The Elder Gods created the Mortal Kombat tournament to give Earthrealm a chance to defend itself. But if we lose this time, Shao Kahn will conquer all." Raiden explained to them as Ash was thinking "Both him and Kronika I should worry with." he said in his mind
"Dun Dun Dunnn!" He dramatically throws his arms up in the air. cLook guys, I'm an actor. I save the world for the cameras. If this emperor is really a threat, call the military. Me, I've got a date with a blonde. Ciao!" He slaps Raiden on the arm and leaves.

"He is a hero, Liu Kang, though he may not yet know it." Raiden said then Cassie notice Ash is following Johnny "Hey where are you going Ash." Cassie asked her newfound friend "Making sure if your old man won't get himself killed." Ash replied as Cassie comes with him "Mind I help." she asked him
"Why not Cassie they are your parents." Ash said to her which Cassie is surprised by his personality which she catches up to him On a bridge overbearing a deep pit, Sonya Blade is trying to use her radio to talk to the Special Forces Command.
"Triangulating your signal for evac, but..." The radio becomes briefly distorted. "...there is no island."
"I'm standing on it! Just lock onto my wrist comm!" said Sonya as Johnny walks onto the bridge and smiles. "Understood. What is your current status?" said Command
"They have Jax. And if I don't fight in this crazy tournament, they'll kill him. I'm gonna try to--" as she was cut off
"Need help? I specialise in rescuing damsels in distress." said Johnny as Ash and Cassie are hiding behind the rock "Seriously Dad." Cassie said to herself "You again. Listen, I've got serious problems here. I'm in no mood to be hit on by some movie star." said Sonya
"Ouch that bites." Ash replied which Cassie agreed with him on that "C'mon. A girl like you shouldn't be wandering around this freak show alone." as Sonya sighs and tries to walk off. Johnny grabs her by the arm.

"I don't need an escort, and I'm sure as hell not your baby!" said Sonya as They fight. Although reluctant to do so, Johnny Cage shows that he's not afraid of fighting a woman if he has to. After a brief scuffle, Cage manages to get the upper hand and he knocks Sonya to the ground.
"You lose Cassie but here!" he toss her five doubloons to her hand
"You don't play bids do you?" Cassie asked him "Of course not only people act silly with greed do that." Ash tells her as Cassie actually agreed with him
"Ha haaa! Not bad for a... girl..." Johnny seems to regret getting caught up in the moment and extends his hand to her. "Look, sorry about that." as Sonya slaps his hand away.
"I don't need your help." she said
"Fine. Have it your way. I'll just leave you to your... problems." just then Cage fails to notice the burly Australian sneaking up behind him. "Good idea!" as Kano grabs Cage from behind and throws him off the bridge but didn't notice he was saved by Ash in quick speed "Now that he's softened you up, it's my turn!" said Kano
"Not man enough for a fair fight?" said Sonya
"I don't do "fair"." as Kano blasts her with his eye beam. "No need to get up, love." as Cassie can hear Sonya's screams echo above her as Ash can't stand this as he's going to fight him "So tell me...how are things at Command?" said Kano
"Bastard!" Sonya continues to scream as Kano blasts her again and again. "Guillible bitch. Just had to point you in the wrong direction. Couldn'ta done it without ya!" said Kano
"S.F. is on the way. You won't get far." said Sonya
"Oh, I got a knack for survival. You, on the other hand, are gonna die here." just then Ash and Cassie suddenly somersaults onto the bridge.
"Step away from the Mother!" said Cassie Kano and Sonya heard what she said "I have a daughter?" said Sonya as Kano look irritated "Then I should have fun with her!" as he stalks toward Cassie, Ash on the other hand use speed and send him flying away from Cassie and Sonya
"I know you. You're that wise guy at the arena I'll get rid of you first." as Kano dusting himself off wanting to fight both Ash and Cassie
"People think I'm just a child who plays games and a wild imagination.Truth is... I AM an best fighter you ever imagine mr. kangaroo." as the Three fight. Kano shoots a laser from his eye at thetwo but the ducked in good time "Always lasers!" Ash replied as he charges at Kano as he throws a pair of knives going to hit Ash but he has a trick on his sleeve as Two dark green vines come out of the sides of Ash's hands knocks out knives and caught Kano's legs swings him around and slams him to the bridge as Kano stands up
"Gotcha" said Cassie restrains Kano as the drone homes in at his groin. A moment later it flies forward and strikes them, and as he double over in pain, she draws her gun and aims at the back of his head, firing a single shot and sending him flying then Ash flies into the air "Goga Impact!" as his body becomes surrounded by spiraling orange streaks. Then, a purple energy sphere surrounds Ash's body and it flies into the Kano with great force, leaves Kano on the floor unconscious.
"Throw that captain Boomerang..." Ash replied as him and Cassie walks toward Sonya. "Thanks." she said to them "No problem." said Sonya as Johnny came to them "Who is that guy anyway?" said Johnny as He offers her his hand, but remembering what happened last time, he draws it back. Sonya then extends her hand to him, allowing him to help her to his feet.
"His name's Kano. He was an informant in our Black Dragon investigation. Big-time arms dealers. Turns out he was their leader and giving us the runaround. Lot of our guys got killed because of him." said Sonya explained about Kano to Johnny
"So that's not a costume? You're actual military?" Johnny
"Special Forces." said Sonya
"Get out! So you know about this "threat to the world" stuff, right? Raiden called in the cavalry." Johnny said to her "Raiden? No idea who you're talking about." As they turn around, they see no sign of Kano.
"Damn." said Sonya
"He can't be far." Cassie said to Sonya "He'll have to wait." She holds out her hand. "I appreciate your help, Cage." as Johnny shakes it. "Johnny." said Johnny
"But right now I've got things to take care of. My C.O. is locked up on this island somewhere. I have to find him." as She walks off with Ash and Cassie follow. Cage looks at her with admiration. "So are you really my daughter." said Sonya as Cassie "Yes I am Cassie cage your and Johnny's daughter." Cassie said as Sonya was shocked by that but she'll ask later then looks at Ash
"New guy, I like your skills there." said Sonya
"It's Ash ketchum miss blades." he said
at Cassie's timeline at the netherrealm the resurrected Liu kang and Resurrected Kitana stare at the ruined cathedral "Without the Cathedral's power, we stand alone. We are vulnerable." said the resurrected Liu kang as A woman from appears.
"Who are you? One of Raiden's Elder Gods, here to taunt us?" said Resurrected Kitana
"No, Kitana. I am much more. Behold!" She restores the tower, destroyed by the explosion. Sonya died in vain.
"What power is this?!" said the resurrected Kitana
"I am Kronika, Keeper of Time The Sands of Time guide the destiny of the realms and every soul therein. I have carefully crafted them to keep the realms in balance. But my work's perfection has been irreversibly taunted by Raiden's actions. The two of you have felt that pain most acutely." said Kronika
"What can be done? The past is the past, is it not?" said the resurrected Liu kang
"It need not be. I intend to wind time back to its beginning and restart history. But even with my vast power, I cannot create this New Era alone." Kronika tells them
"How will this New Era be different?" Resurrexted Kitana "In many ways. But most importantly, there will be no Raiden." as they heard that correctly "But I had feared my plans will be ruined there's a new enemy out there a very powerful one more powerful I ever imagine he must be destroyed." said Kronika can sense Ash's presence in the hourglass
"How do we begin?" said the resurrected Liu kang
