Ep.2: The Assignment
We are still within the forest where the man in red is carrying Sora over his shoulder.
" This boy managed to defeat 3 genin with 2 years of combat experience. Not to mention he displayed energy projection techniques that defy the physics of Chakra. He seemed to have been using swordsmanship with that baseball bat yet he was able to use it with the efficiency of a master we can use this boy to boost Konoha's reputation amongst our customers."
The man in red exited the forest and took him to the check point.
" I found an intruder he managed to take down my subordinates with a baseball bat."
" Damn." - Said the security officer.
" But get this he's not a ninja."
" Take him to the detention center Rei the 3rd Hokage could make great use of him later."
Two hours later Sora awoke restrained by shackles connected to a wall with the 3rd Hokage observing him through his crystal ball as a medical officer salutes him.
" Lord Hokage we've discovered new information about the intruder."
" What did you find out?"
" He's human yet he possesses a somewhat gelatinous bone structure, not to mention he can access an internal energy source that potentially could rival chakra manipulation. The weird thing is that he has no chakra potential what so ever."
" Could this be the result of a genetic defect or a bloodline trait?"
" A possibility but he could be a bioweapon manufactured by the nations our clientele come from."
" I doubt it if he was a human bioweapon he'd still have the potential to use Chakra. Regardless study the boy's skills through tests we can make use of him or dispose him if he proves worthless."
3 months later we see a boy in orange clothing leaping from roof to roof with a scroll on his back when suddenly he is stopped by a tan-skinned ninja with a green vest.
" Naruto what are you doing?"
" I'm becoming a ninja Iruka-Sensei. Once I master this technique I'll start my journey to become the next Hokage."
" Naruto treachery against your village is against the law turn yourself in while you still can."
" But Mizuki-Sensei said I could graduate if I retrieved the scroll."
Iruka grew angry and knocked Naruto out with a haymaker and bound him in a burlap sack.
" I've apprehended Naruto. Locate and capture Mizuki he's a traitor too." - Iruka alerted through his headphones.
" Damn you Iruka don't you remember what that boy did to this village?!" - Yelled voice in the distance.
" What I did to this village?" -Naruto queried.
Suddenly a fuma shuriken was hurled into Iruka's back.
" AHHHHHHH!"
" You're responsible for the massacre that happened 11 years ago. You Naruto are the nine-tailed fox."
" No Naruto don't listen to him."
From the shadows a ninja with silver hair leaps to Iruka's position and performs an impaling motion with his kunai only to restrained by 2 ninja.
" You fuckers! He's the nine-tailed fox." - Mizuki yelled as he was injected with a sleeping toxin.
" Come Iruka we have an assembly to attend." - Stated one of the ninja in a somber tone.
Within an hour the Hokage gathered the clan members who graduated alongside their parents as Naruto stands in chains.
" Naruto Uzumaki you stand guilty for the crime of treason your sentence is immediate execution." - Sarutobi declared.
" Objection if you guys kill me you'll unleash the nine-tailed fox."
The assembly of ninja laugh save for the graduates and Iruka.
" You actually believed we would give high-level demonic powers to a foolish child like yourself one who has never even served in a combat mission, let alone sealing it into a baby do you take us for monsters like the citizens of Mist Village?"
" Then where is this Nine-Tailed fox?"
" Simple he is inside the very man who has maitained this village through proper leadership, and coordinated strategems a man of accomplishment & skill." - Sarutobi said as his face shape-shifted into a miniature version of the Kyubi's visage.
" Then why do I have whiskers?"
" Simple we injected mutagens into your bloodstream with the genetics of the local foxes. Now Iruka execute him."
" NO. Naruto is like a son to me."
" if you please." - Sarutobi commanded.
Ino's dad possessed Iruka he willed the teacher to grab an axe and decapitated Naruto.
" NARUTOOOO!" - Yelled a female graduate with White eyes.
" That's enough Hinata." - Her father scolded.
Hinata's father punched her in face to discipline her as Sarutobi's face reverted to his human form he consoled his head with a weary smile.
" Let this be a lesson to the ninja of the leaf treachery has it's place but loyalty to the village is demanded otherwise similar punishments await you. Take Iruka to the detention facility 2 weeks aught to clear his head."
Three days later we see Sora in a prison cell doing push ups as a security guard opens the door and hands him a bag with his clothes.
" Sora you lazy bum it's time for your first mission."
" I should have stayed at home."
Sora equipped his normal clothes as he was forcibly given an electronic collar.
" Hey what gives?" -Sora demanded.
" This collar will inject a lethal poison into your neck if you aggravate your squad leader enough or if you prove worthless to our cause."
" And what is this cause?"
" Simple to participate in combat missions to promote the Leaf Village as the mercenary capital of the world."
" Don't I get some equipment?"
" Sure boy we wouldn't want you die too quickly."
Sora is taken to an armory and acquires a longsword with a yellow rectangular edgeguard and a blue grip.
" What do you think you're some kind of Knight?"
" This is the kind of sword I was training to use."
" Your funeral kid though I'd reccomend a katana over a crappy longsword any day of the week."
Sora was taken to his squad leader at the deployment office there a man in the typical Leaf uniform with one eye concealed by his headband and his natural grey hair exposed behind him were Sakura, Sasuke, and Hinata.
" Kakashi I've been instructed to inform you that Hinata will no longer be your subordinate."
" This is a bit sudden. The team was just getting used to eachother." -Kakashi whined.
" Sympathy is a luxury I don't promote now fill out this form, as for you Hinata you are to go to room 608 to meet with your new sensei."
" ( Upper management must have thought our team was too overpowered.)" - Kakashi mentally speculated.
" ( Great so Hinata gets replaced with this dork. Then again this might be a golden oppurtunity for me to pull rank on him. CHA!)" - Sakura thought with her eyes turning all white and her fist clenched in victory.
Kakashi filled out his form.
" Thank you."
" All right Sakura, Sasuke I'd like to introduce you to Sora he's a member of The Slave Soldier Program."
" A Double-S? Kakashi those guys can barely handle Genin what good is this loser?" - Sasuke said with a self-assured smirk.
Sora scowled angrily at the smug shinobi.
" Well Sasuke, Sora managed to defeat 3 genin with 2 years worth of battle experience using only a baseball bat."
" Looking like a clown I bet." - Sasuke said looking at Sora's large yellow sneakers.
" A clown that'll slice you in half if you keep insulting me." - Sora threatened.
" Teh." - Sasuke dismissed.
Kakashi grabbed Sora and kneed him in the chest.
" Ugh."
" Make a move against my team Sora and I'll punish you harder than this."
" Yes.. ." - Sora said struggling to smile through the pain.
" ( Damn Kakashi layed down the law on that punk. Still I wish Sasuke was the one to do it. One day when we get married we'll have a field of slaves to work on the plantation CHA!)"
Kakashi moved up the line.
" It's time my team got their baptism by fire."
" Sure let me introduce you to our current client he's requesting a C-class mission." - Said an employee.
The old bridge builder from Naruto's first bad arc appeared.
" Good morning I come from the land of Waves my town is building a bridge and we need you guys protect my workers during it's construction."
" We'll provide you the best security possible sir."
" What's with this boy in the clown shoes?" - The bridge builder inquired.
" I have big feet that's why I wear big shoes is everyone prejudiced against people with big feet?"
" No. Heh. You just look like a clown instead of a ninja." - The bridge builder mocked.
" Oh I'm not a ninja I'm a swordsman."
" Can I get another team?"
" Don't worry Bridge Builder this guy defeated 3 genin."
" And a leopard."
" Silence Sora." - Kakashi scolded.
Sora obeyed as they exited the village within 11 minutes they passed a pair of puddles.
" Hmm?" - Sora remarked.
Sora raised his hand.
" It seems you mastered proper protocol Sora, what is it?" - Kakashi said.
" Do you guys have sprinkler systems on this road?"
" No we don't. Why do you ask?"
" Cause it wasn't raining earlier."
" (This boy isn't a complete retard after all.) Indeed now lets continue our mission."
The group moved forward as the puddles converted into the Demon Brothers! They dashed towards the group but Sora leaps to defend the Bridge Builder as Gozu slashes with his razor claw gauntlets but Sora deflects him back with a vertical slash.
" Take this!"
Sora clashed 2 times with Gozu and cut the ninja 2 times and propelled him away with Ripple Drive.
" Ugh!"
Meizu thrusted his right claw but Sasuke intercepted the chunin's arm and countered with 4 punches and a windmill kick to his skull. Sasuke perfomed a sequence of hand signs appropiated from China but I'm not offended.
" Time to fry. Fireball-jutsu!"
" GYAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
Meizu was incinerated.
" Good job Sasuke!" - Sakura cheered.
Gozu extended a razor-chain from his gauntlet and lashed it at Sora who rolled out the way towards Gozu. Gozu lashed his razor-chain horizontally but Sora jumped over the chain and assaulted Gozu with a basic aerial combo knocking him to the floor as blood flowed from his face.
" Darn you...unh."
Kakashi still on full alert grabbed the bridge builder.
" Hey what's the big idea?" - Tazuna exclaimed.
" You lied about the danger level of this mission."
" I had to, The Land of Waves is a very poor country thanks to the man who oppresses us."
" Who oppresses you?"
" Gato, he extorts our businesses, and sells DRUGS!"
" Well that's not our problem now that you've understated the danger level but because I want this team to experience their baptism by fire we'll finish our mission however Tazuna you will be killed on sight the next time you enter the leaf village do we have an understanding."
" Yes."
" All right guys that was a good battle but lets keep our guard up."
Team 7 and their client proceed into a forest where new dangers await them.
