Olivia put a contact lense in her eye and it watered. She put it back in the container and picked up her new flat iron. She turned up her nose and wondered if the sizzling sound was normal. It smelled like burnt toast. She looked different. Fitz would be ready in a few hours. She smiled at her appearance and realized broccoli was stuck in her braces.

"I'm joining a sorority!" She shouted at her mirror admiring her new appearance.

She had to buy some makeup to complete her look. The makeup artist at the beauty school could let her know the best products. She lit a few candles and turned on her favorite Zapp and Roger song. The music was very loud, and she jumped when she saw Edison outside her window. He held up the chemistry textbook and Olivia turned off the music.

"What are you doing here?"

"You want me to be your man?"

"No."

"I like that song. It's retro."

"What do you want Edison?"

"I need to review covalent and ionic bonds."

"It's a simple concept. Ionic bonds donate electrons and covalent bonds share. You need to leave Edison."

"Is your boyfriend here?"

"Yes."

"Can I meet him?"

"No."

"Why not?"

"He's taking a shower."

"Is that a package from Sunshine Eco Laboratory? Are you doing a science experiment? That is so cool. I bought a dog a few months ago. It came as a giant ball and I had to pour water on it for 24 hours. He's a really awesome dog."

"I don't care about your dog Edison. This package is from my mom. It's got fruit and other stuff."

"The label says it's from the lab."

"She works at the lab. Do I really need to explain that my mom stole an envelope from her job?"

"I guess not."

Olivia pushed him out her house. How could she not throw away the packaging? She could have kept the additional instructions and threw away the envelope. She read the packet of instructions and giggled to herself. She was going to have a boyfriend! Maybe they could have sex and she wouldn't be a virgin after homecoming.

"Come on Fitz Grant. I need you to teach me how to kiss." She said kissing the glossy photo in the packet.
