Title: Her conviction(I guess)

Characters: Sakura Haruno, Itachi Uchiha, and Naruto Uzumaki,

Description: Sakura is branded as a bioterrorist after a test tube of a dangerous virus is discovered in her locker. Sakura is forced to leave the village, successfully becoming a missing ninja. No one believes her side of the story with the exception of a certain S-classed ninja renown for the infamous Uchiha clan massacre.

*I just couldn't find footing for this, this was written back in December if google docs is correct.

She knew they'd be here.

But what she hadn't accounted for was Tsunade being right among them. You would think an entire squad of Anbu and the hokage was overkill just to arrest Sakura.

They were there in a blur, surrounding her in her own apartment, the bottle of sake she'd left on the coffee table, it shattered and spilt alcohol all over the carpet.

The Hokage looked down at the spilled drink, an intense frown molded on her face, they then made eye contact and for a moment only master and apprentice existed.

"I don't know where to begin," Tsunade said, her voice soft. What her master was feeling, Sakura could only imagine.

"How about with believing me!"

"Sakura–"

"No! How could you believe them over me, I'm—how, Shishou?"

"Sakura…"

The girl narrowed her green eyes. "What would I gain from having a virus like that? You know I swore an oath to save lives, why would I do that? I've never even seen that test tube in my whole entire life!"

There was silence again and Sakura looked at Tsunade with her greatest conviction. She had to believe her, it was the truth! The girl didn't even know why anyone would frame her?

"Sakura...how did your fingerprints get all over the test tube?"

The test tube...

"What?"

"How did your fingerprints get all over the test tube."

The Anbu operatives began to ease closer to her and all of her shinobi training senses were on high alert.

"You...shishou." Her chest felt almost numb and she had to force herself to hold back any of the tears. "How can I prove to you that I'm not lying!"

The blonde woman came forward, stepping over the scattered shards of glass and placed a warm hand on her shoulder. Her face didn't hold an angry frown or even one of absolute disappointment, no it was a frown that held much more sincere emotion.

"Come with us..."

What did she gain from that? Would they hear her out? The tubes were found in her work locker with her fingerprints on it. Why someone would search her locker she'd never know. Why someone would frame her, now that was the huge question

Sakura hesitated and Tsunade dropped her hand. "...Sakura, please."

Tsunade had always been there for her, her master had always helped her. She'd filled in the spots her sensei from team seven should have filled, she'd comforted and took her in when her parents met an unfortunate end.

"I didn't do anything wrong." She explained softly, her voice trailing of.

"Lets prove it, you and I...we can prove—"

"You're lying." Sakura interrupted. "You're lying. I know you are, please stop...you think I'm guilty. I'm not a terrorist!"

How could she?

The fifth Hokage let out a soft sigh. "Don't make this hard…"

They were going to arrest her. There was nothing more to be said, they were completely convinced of her treachery. She made the slightest of movements and the Anbu drew their weapons. Sakura predicted this and jumped as a shadow extended across the floor and walls attempting to catch her as she dashed across the walls.

"Shikamaru?" The masked shinobi said nothing to her, but she knew it was the genius, there was no hiding it. There was nothing to say...

A swarm of kunai followed her, she withdrew a kunai and blocked them all with practiced skill.

"Arrest her!" Tsunade ordered.

She didn't want to attack any of them and she knew they felt the same way. She needed to leave.

Sliding back to the floor, Sakura took out a smoke bomb and hurled it into the ground.

DOOF!

Smoke consumed everything and the girl used the distraction to exit with the body flicker technique, crashing through her open window and taking to the rooftops of a nearby restaurant. She landed, with a tap and her eyes immediately widened. Of course, there was a hidden squad.

Jump! She jumped, making her body flat imid air as two wind demon shuriken split air, slashing like a bullet. The girl squeezed between the two attacks before landing and jumping from the restaurant to the rooftop of a postal office.

When she landed, well she immediately regretted it. "Four palms." A feminine voice said.

Pain shot through her body, fingers pressed into her, precisely touching her chakra points as she felt blood bile up in her throat. "...eight—" Sakura blocked and swatted the girl away with both her hands. A rain of shuriken and kunai came after. Come on, could she catch a break?

She evaded most, though three shuriken embedded themselves into her left shoulder. She let out hiss in pain but stared at both of her attackers.

They both wore a mask, but he could tell it was none other than Hinata Hyuga and Neji Hyuga. God, even them? This was like whipping her heart...but, how could they know, right?

They were relentless as they dashed forward. Thinking fast Sakura produced two clones, sending them to buy her time, she hauled herself over the roof and to the street floor.

"Haruno! Haruno, stop!" The male Hyuga had disposed of her clones in no time, it was expected of the prodigy. Hinata came following her mask had somehow fallen merely moments ago during their battle with her shadow clones. "We don't wanna do this."

They walked towards her, clear aggression in their pace.

"S-sakura, please. "

"I'm innocent. I'm not going to prison for some crime I didn't commit! I didn't steal some virus— I-I have no plans of committing acts of terrorism, I committed my life to saving—I pledged an oath to save lives, how could I even!"

"We don't want to hurt you." Neji reinforced.

The pinket grabbed her bleeding shoulder and looked at the blood on her hand.

"It's too late for that!" Sakura's fist swelled a glorious green and glowed like the sun.

"Don't!"

They weren't listening to her, they weren't even trying to hear her out. She knew the evidence was stacked against her but it definitely wasn't her fault!

"I'm innocent, Neji. And I refuse to spend any time in prison for an act I didn't commit!"

She would lose if she fought those two and the rest of the squads were closing in on her location, in a flash of black Tsunade, Shikamaru and the rest of the original squad were before her.

"This has gone on long enough, Sakura, the evidence against you is staggering but if you can provide something that can clear your name indefinitely—" Tsunade began, then suddenly stopped. "What the hell are you doing? Don't...Sakura."

"Sakura…"

"Sakura, this is not in your best interest. Do not!"

"Don't cause any more issues, so troublesome."

What could she do? Either way, she was screwed, but she chose to go out the way she wanted. With her right fist concentrated with beautifully ripe chakra, she knew what she had to do, and it would be big! Sakura took that hand and slammed her fist into the ground causing the floor to erupt like a volcano. BANG! Debris and dirt spilled into the atmosphere successfully clouding the sky for a few moments.

All the shinobi jumped to avoid taking damage, with a clean hand sign Sakura body flickered away leaving the remaining Anbu to chase after her tail.

*I really like this one, if anyone likes the concept I would love to read it.
