Hey Guys. I know it has been a long time but I finally updated. Hope you like it.
"Regina. That is not true. I love you just the way you are."
Regina froze and tried to wriggle out of his grasp. He held her close for a few more seconds before turning away from her and sitting on the edge of the bed. What had he been thinking? All he wanted was to make her feel better and now he'd probably gone and made it all worse.
"What did you say?" She mumbled, turning her body to face him. His body tensed and then drooped in defeat.
"Please don't make me say it again." He asked, getting up to leave. His heart was slowly breaking, even though she hadn't even voiced her rejection.
"Where do you think you're going?" She asked, moving to stand in front of him. When her eyes met his, she could see the pain and hurt, but something else she couldn't make out.
"I'm making it easier for you so please don't make it any harder for me. I know you don't feel theā¦" Regina's lips were on his and before he could respond she pulled away. He leaned back in for another kiss but she stopped him.
"Before we get carried away we really need to talk about all this." She saw his face fall and rushed to reassure him.
"I mean we need to talk about what's going to happen." Robin's head fell to her neck and started leaving gentle kisses.
"That is not talking Mister. That is trying to get out of it." He smirked against her shoulder.
"That is my aim. Do we have to talk?" He asked, kissing a little spot behind her ear that made her release a shuddery breath.
"It is a good idea Robin." She said moving away. Unfortunately he followed her, backing her up until she fell on the bed.
"Even better than the one I have in mind?" He asked her, crawling onto the bed. She giggled and leaned on her elbows.
"Maybe not, but we do need to talk...before your idea." She watched amused as he groaned and fell back on the bed.
"You are going to be the death of me. What would you like to talk about?" He asked, lying next to her.
"Well, when did you first start to like me in more than a friends way?" She inquired, turning to face him as he turned to bury his face in the pillow.
"Really? That's what you want to know?" After seeing her face, he sighed heavily and turned so that he was facing her.
"It was the pool party at the end of summer before college and you had changed quite a bit over the holidays. You were wearing a sinful black bikini that should have been illegal and I felt a few feelings that weren't normal. Then you sassed a guy for staring at you and I knew that you were still my best friend. But just with added features." he smirked as she rolled he eyes.
"So, how about you? When did you start liking me in 'more than a friend way'?" He asked smugly.
"It was just before our last year of high school and you were no longer my geeky mate. You had been working at your uncle's farm for the summer so you had become quite muscular."
"I remember that day. Everyone was staring at me."
"Yeah, but then you slipped on that banana skin and I knew that you were still 'my best friend but just with added features'." She answered, throwing his words back at him. "I had a few feelings for you before, but that day just confirmed them."
"What a pair we make, huh?" he laughed, pulling her closer to him so she was on his lap. She raised an eyebrow at the movement and he chuckled.
"What? Don't you like this position? Would you prefer this one?" He asked, flipping them over so that he was on top of them.
"Really, Robin?" She chuckled, moving her arms round his neck. He leaned in slowly and kissed her, threading his fingers through her hair.
"As much as I would like to continue, you have somewhere to be." Robin groaned in frustration and buried his face in her neck.
"Let me call in sick. Please. I don't think I can move." He whined, as she managed to crawl out of his arms.
"Ginaaaa?!" He pouted trying to pull her back but he wasn't fast enough. She giggled and ducked as he tried to grab her again.
"Robin Locksley, you are going even if it means I have to drag you there." She threatened, walking a safe distance away from him, so he couldn't get her.
"Fine. But this will continue as soon as I get home." He ordered, dragging himself off of her bed.
"Hmm. Maybe." She concluded walking out of the room.
"Hey no fair." He called chasing after her. Before she could respond the doorbell rang.
"Ah. Saved by the bell." She joked, opening the door.
"Graham?! What are you doing here?" She asked as Robin came to stand behind her.
"We need to talk.?
