[Part One, Chapter Two: What It Takes to Be a Pro Hero]
[On a rooftop]
"Without a Quirk you say?" All-Might asked
At that moment, steam begins to emit from the Pro Hero's body
"No-No-No..." All-Might said mentally with great stress before continuing "Please don't tell me my time's already up!"
"People tend to look down on me because I don't have a Quirk" Midoriya said sadly, not noticing All-Might one bit
POOF!
"Every time I say I want to be a Hero, they laugh at me and mock me for having an impossible dream" Midoriya said before continuing "So I ask you...Can I be a Hero without a Quirk?"
The green-haired boy stops twiddling his thumbs and looks up at All-Might...Who was now skinny and boney
"WHAT!?" Midoriya screamed in shock
Midoriya could not believe what he was seeing. His all-time favorite hero was now a skinny man who looked nothing like All-Might. The young man had so many questions going through his mind...Who was this guy? what happened to All-Might? how long has this guy been here?
[Back with Chikaru]
"Learn your lesson, Siwaka!" Student #1 shouts
Student #1 directs his fist towards Chikaru's face, but the black and red-haired boy catches it with ease before squeezing it
"AAAHHH! YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Student #1 roared in agony before continuing "THAT WAS MY BATTING HAND!"
While Student #1 is distracted with blowing on his hand to soothe the pain, Chikaru takes this time to grab Student #1's other hand and flip him over with all his might
THUD!
"GAH!" Student #1 cries out in pain
"One down, two more to go" Chikaru said mentally before continuing "Hopefully, they won't be much of an issue"
"KICK THAT FUCKER'S ASS!" Student #1 ordered
"You'll pay for what you've done" Student #2 growled as his arms were now covered by concrete
"Get ready to eat through a straw ya bastard" Student #3 said before breathing fire
"Damn..." Chikaru said as he takes two steps back
The brunette had no plans of turning tail and running away like a scared child, but he was a little nervous. Chikaru doesn't have a Quirk, so fighting two students who do is going to be very difficult.
"Take this!" Student #2 exclaimed
The thug rushes forward and begins to deliver numerous punches to the teen boy causing him to dodge and evade most of them, while taking a few punches to the chest in the process. Once Chikaru gets the opportunity, he sends out a few punches of his own before headbutting the thug making him stumble a bit, right then and there, Chikaru kicks the student in the side of the head sending him straight to the floor.
"Holy shit, he just took out Kurito like he was nothing!" Student #3 said in shock
"Chikaru turns to Student #3 and performs a bring it gesture
"Come and get some, dragon breath" Chikaru said
"You son of a bitch!" Student #3 said angrily before continuing "I'll teach you what happens when you fuck with the wrong people"
Student #3 breathes in for a few seconds, then breathes out a large stream of fire
"Hot damn" Chikaru said as he quickly jumps out the way
"Stay still goddammit!" Student #3 growled before continuing "This won't hurt a bit...It'll hurt a LOT!"
"That makes EVERYTHING better" Chikaru said sarcastically as he kept on evading the fire
In that moment, Student #1 grabs a hold of Chikaru and puts the young man in a tight headlock
"Hands off freak!" Chikaru shouted as he tries to break free
"Burn that bastard to a crisp!" Student #1 shouts before continuing "Don't worry about me, I'll be alright"
"If what you're saying is true, then I'll take your word for it" Student #3 said as inhales
"Not good, not good, not good" Chikaru said worryingly
The black-haired boy tried to escape once more, but the young punk had him GOOD. Chikaru thought his life was over until he thought of something good
"That's right!" Chikaru exclaimed
"What the fuck are you talk-"
Student #1 gets cutoff as Chikaru flips him over once more, causing him to writhe in pain as his back hit the hard concrete floor
"AGAIN WITH THIS SHIT!" Student #1 shouted
"That takes care of that" Chikaru sighed in relief before taking his attention towards the fire breather
Right then and there, Student #3 dishes out multiple balls of fire towards Chikaru. The brunette runs ahead and goes through some of the fireballs getting burned in the process
"Let's see if you can handle this!" Chikaru said
Once the young man is proximity with the thug, he delivers a ferocious punch, taking out Student #3
THUD!
"Thank God that's over" Chikaru said with a weak smile as he puts out a small fire that was on his shoulder
"Did you think it was going to be THAT easy?" Student #1 asked cockily before continuing "We ain't done with you yet, Siwaka"
"Bring it on!" Chikaru stated before continuing "I can handle whatever you weirdos throw at me"
Student #1 snaps his finger and multiple students with masks appear out of nowhere
"Grab as many people as you want!" Chikaru said before continuing "I'll take on all of them"
Just as Chikaru was about to attack the students, he soon comes to a stop before dropping to the ground as if he was knocked unconscious
"Wh-What the hell?" Chikaru asked with great concern as he tried to move before continuing "What's happening with my body...Why can't I move around?"
"That's because someone in my crew wields a Quirk that paralyzes their enemy" Student #1 explained with smirk before continuing "Pretty cool, huh?"
"Y-You've g-got to be f-freaking kidding me..." Chikaru complained
"This all could've been avoided had you not put your nose in other people's business Student #1 said before continuing "Let this be a lesson to you, Siwaka"
At that point, all of the students approach Chikaru ready to give him a brutal beat down he won't forget for decades
"Wind Typoon!"
Before any of the students had time to react, a huge gust of wind comes in contact with them taking them all out efficiently
"Once again, she saves my ass" Chikaru said
The young man picks himself up off the floor and begins to brush the dirt off his body. Once he's finished doing that, he makes his way over to the attacker who happens to be a teenage girl. The young female had jet-black hair that reaches up to her cheeks, a sandy-beige skin complexion, and cobalt-blue eyes. The teenager was wearing a red tracksuit accompanied by white and black stripped sneakers
"How ya feeling?" the teenage girl asked
"I'm feelin' pretty good" Chikaru answered with a nod
This young woman is Kaze Siwaka. Kaze is Chikaru's seventeen year-old sister and the third oldest sibling in Chikaru's family. Kaze's Quirk allows her to control the wind and use it to her advantage, which makes her formidable
"Mind telling me why those punks were about to beat your ass?" Kaze asked
"Let's just say that it was an altercation" Chikaru replied
"An altercation you say" Kaze said
"There was a group of thugs that wanted to get revenge on me because I beat up a couple of their buddies" Chikaru explained before continuing "What you saw the result"
"Did you at least fight back?" Kaze asked
"Yeah...Until all of his friends joined the fight and got the jump on me" Chikaru replied
"Be thankful that I was around when this all went down" Kaze said before continuing "They would've made you even uglier than you are now"
"Shut up" Chikaru said with a chuckle as he gives his sister a light punch
"Anyways, I'll catch you later" Kaze said before continuing "Basketball practice starts in a few minutes and I don't plan on being tarty"
"Peace" Chikaru said as Kaze walks off
[In the shopping district, with Bakugou and his friends]
"Damn that overly pretentious bastard!" growled the sludge monster from inside a soda bottle before continuing "The things I'd do to him if I had a body"
The sludge monster kept ranting on, until the bottle he was in got kicked by Bakugou
"Hey, Katsuki, aren't you and Midoriya childhood friends?" Friend #2 asked
"I think you went a little overboard today" Friend #1 admitted
"Screw that dork, it's his fault for getting in my way" Bakugou said
"Don't let it get to you" Friend #1 said
"He's an idiot dreaming like a kid" Bakugou said as he destroys a lemonade can he was holding before continuing "Just thinking about him pisses me off"
"Why don't we go to the arcade for a change of pace" Friend #2 suggested before continuing "You're coming too, right, Katsuki?"
"Sure whatever" Bakugou shrugged
"Then let's go to the one in front of the station" Friend #1 said before continuing "That place has tons of hot babes"
"Not a bad idea, dude" Friend #2 said in agreement
"You dumbasses if we get caught it'll end up on my record!" Bakugou shouts angrily as the sludge monster slowly forms behind him
"Holy...Shit!" Friend #1/ Friend #2 said in shock
"What are you idiots on about now?" Bakugou asked
"*Gulp* L-Look b-behind you..." Friend #1 answered nervously
Bakugou turns around and sees the sludge monster who was now whole
"This is perfect...An invisible cloak with a badass Quirk" Sludge monster grinned evilly
"What the fuck is that?" Bakugou asked in surprise
[With Midoriya and Skinny-Might]
"Who are you!? what did you do to All-Might!?" Midoriya yelled frantically as he points to the skinny man
"I am All-Might" Skinny-Might said...before coughing up blood
"AAAHHH!" Midoriya screamed before continuing "THIS CAN'T BE REAL!"
"You know how guys at the pool are constantly flexing and posturing?...It's basically like that" Skinny-Might explained
"NO WAY!" Midoriya shouts in disbelief before continuing "All-Might is fearless and saves everyone with a great big smile"
"A fearless smile, you say?" Skinny-Might said as he sits down before continuing "Now that you've seen me like this, young man, I expect you not to tell the media about what you've seen or anyone close to you"
"Is this a dream? there's no way that's All-Might" Midoriya said mentally
"Take a good look, kid" Skinny-Might said as he raises his shirt revealing a gruesome injury
"Oh my God..." Midoriya said flabbergasted
"This here is an injury I got from an enemy's attack five years ago" Skinny-Might said before continuing "Half of my respiratory organs were destroyed, and I lost my whole stomach...I've become emaciated from repeated surgeries and the aftereffects"
"No way..." Midoriya said
"Right now, I can only work as a Hero for about three hours a day" Skinny-Might said
"That can't be" Midoriya said in shock
The poor boy couldn't believe what he was hearing. His hero, his idol, All-Might was not what he thought he was
"Five years ago...Was that when you fought Toxic Chainsaw?" Midoriya asked
"You're well-informed" Skinny-Might complimented before continuing "No, a punk like that couldn't defeat me"
"Must've been someone as strong as All-Might" Midoriya said mentally
"This fight was not made public to the world...I asked that it not be made public" Skinny-Might said before continuing "I WILL save people with a big smile...The Symbol of Peace cannot be daunted by evil; I smile to show the pressure of heroes and to trick the fear inside of me"
"So that's why he smiles" Midoriya said to himself
"Pros are always risking their lives" Skinny-Might said before continuing "I cannot simply say, You can become a hero even without power"
"I-I see..." Midoriya said with sadness and despair
"Kid, if you want to help out others, you should become a police officer or a firefighter" Skinny-Might said as he gets up before continuing "However, due note that they're often teased by others, because the villains are dropped off at they're doorstep...That doesn't stop it from being a fine occupation"
"..."
"It's not bad to dream, but you have to consider what's realistic, young man" Skinny-Might said as he heads to the door before exiting
[Inside the building]
"I need to get this criminal to the police station before-"
Skinny-Might stops midsentence as he doesn't feel the soda bottle that was in his pocket earlier
"You've got to be kidding me!" Skinny-Might said with a facepalm
BOOM!
"Goddammit" Skinny-Might growled in anger before continuing "If I don't act fast, innocent people are going to die"
[On the rooftop]
"A villain is attacking the city" Midoriya said before continuing "I wonder what Hero will arrive on the scene today"
The young man was about to run to the door, but stops as he remembers Skinny-Might's words which causes him to get depressed
"That's right..." Midoriya said with a sigh
[In the shopping district]
"IT'S A VILLAIN!"
"RUN FOR YOUR LIVES, HE'S GONNA KILL US ALL!"
All of the innocent civilians were currently fleeing the shopping district as the sludge monster was wrecking havoc and destroying shops
"That bastard is holding a kid hostage!" Policeman #1 cried out
"I got this!" shouts Death Arms
The Pro Hero braces himself before rushing into action
"YOU COWARD!" Death Arms roared angrily before continuing "HOLDING A KID HOSTAGE IS TRULY PATHETIC!"
Death Arms sends out a powerful punch to the sludge monster, but it was useless as his fist goes inside the villain
"What is this!?" Death Arms asked in shock before continuing "I can't grab hold!"
With a grin, sludge monster strikes Death Arms sending him into a wall. Two more Heroes show up to help the Pro Hero out, but they get attacked by the sludge monster as well
"Don't come near me" the sludge monster grinned sadistically
"MMPH!" Bakugou muffled
The ash-blonde boy grabs the monster's sludge and manages to get some of it off his face
"I won't let sewage like this swallow me!" Bakugou shouts
Katsuki begins to use his explosive Quirk on the monster which creates a huge explosion
"What power!" the sludge monster said excitedly before continuing "I've hit the jackpot with this one...With this Quirk and power, I can get revenge on that bastard All-Might"
[Outside the danger zone, with the civilians]
"Look at that dude, could he be a big-shot villain?" Civilian #1 asked
"I dunno" Civilian #2 shrugged
"There's Mt. Lady" Civilian #3 exclaimed as he points to the Heroine
"Don't worry, I got...This" said Mt. Lady who was the size of a building
The giant Heroine stopped in her tracks as she had no more room to travel, making things difficult for her
[In the danger zone]
"Shit-shit-shit!" Friend #1 said with great fear
"Are we gonna die here!?" Friend #2 asked
Soon enough, wood wraps around the two and the two boys are taken away by Kamui Woods
"I don't do well with explosions" Kamui Woods informed before continuing "I'll leave it to somebody else for today"
"Thanks for that, I have my hands full dealing with the fire" said Backdraft as he was putting out the fire before continuing "Are the fire trucks here yet or not?"
"They'll be on their way shortly" Hero #1 answered
"How're you guys doing on your end?" Backdraft asked as he turns to Death Arms
"Not so good" Death Arms replied before continuing "We can't attack the bastard and there's a child with a strong Quirk struggling against him"
"Thanks to that, it's a freaking minefield" Hero #1 added before continuing "It's hard to do anything against this triple play"
"You pathetic heroes can't stop me!" Sludge monster exclaims as he attacks once more
CRASH!
"There's no one who can take care of this situation" Death Arms said
"All we can do is wait for someone with a more suitable Quirk" Hero #1 said
"Let's hold back the damage until then" Backdraft said as he continues to put out the fire
"I feel bad for that child, but he'll just have to bear it a little longer" Death Arms said mentally
[Outside the danger zone, with the civilians]
"You can do it, heroes" Civilian #3 said
"We believe you" Civilian #4 said
"Dammit, he must've fell out while I was in the air" Skinny-Might said mentally as he was looking at the destruction before continuing "I was too distracted by my time limit...I can't believe I made a mistake like this after admonishing that fan...So pathetic"
[Intermission plays]
"Heh-Heh" Chikaru chuckled as his body was surrounded by blue lightning
The black and red-haired teen faces forward and dishes out a powerful punch to the screen causing it to shatter on impact revealing the story title
"My Hero Academia: Chikaru's Road to Pro Hero" Chikaru said with his arms crossed
[Intermission ends]
[Later that day, with Midoriya]
"Even my idol said I couldn't become a Hero without a Quirk...I don't even know why I asked in the first place" Midoriya said tearfully before continuing "What was the point in asking All-Might that stupid question?...There's no way I could become a Hero without a Quirk"
BOOM!
"What was that?" Midoriya asked as he turns to the noise before continuing "Is this where the explosion from earlier was?"
The green-haired boy walks over to the crowd and sees the sludge monster destroying the shopping district
"What is that guy doing here?" Midoriya asked mentally before continuing "I thought All-Might took care of him"
"Can the Heroes beat this dude?" Civilian #5 asked
"I'm not sure" Civilian #6 answered before continuing "He's giving them a pretty hard time"
"He must've gotten away while I was on All-Might's leg" Midoriya said mentally before continuing "This is all my fault...This is happening because of me"
"Why aren't the Heroes doing anything? things are going to get worse if they don't act" Civilian #7 commented
"That sludge dude is currently holding a child hostage" Civilian #8 answered "It's been like that for a while"
"I could've sworn I saw All-Might earlier" Civilian #9 said before continuing "Where is he at a time like this?"
"Doesn't he know that someone is in danger?" Civilian #10 asked
"It's my fault he can't do anything" Midoriya said mentally as he covers his mouth before continuing "I'm sorry...I'm so so sorry"
So much was going on right now, the sludge monster is on a crazy rampage, Bakugou is held captive against his will, and none of the Heroes can fight against the sludge monster
"I have to do something...Kacchan will die if nobody helps him in time" Midoriya said to himself
It was at that very moment where Izuku Midoriya makes a bold yet foolish decision to run into action bringing great shock to everyone...Especially Bakugou
"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!?" Death Arms shouts angrily before continuing "YOU IDIOT, DO YOU KNOW WHAT HE'LL DO TO YOU!?"
Midoriya ignores the Pro Hero and continues to run closer to the sludge monster
"Again with this brat" the sludge monster growled
"Deku..." Bakugou said mentally
"Why?...Why am I running?" Midoriya asked mentally before continuing "What cause me to do this? WHY!?"
"You little shit, I'll send you to the afterlife" the sludge monster roared as he goes in for an attack
"What do I do!? what do I do at a time like this!?" Midoriya asked himself before continuing "I got it!"
[Page Twenty-Five] Pre-emptive Binding Lacquered Chain Prison: Quickly stretches out arms (vines) to make the opponent flinch back and then use that opening to restrain them
"I hope this works" Midoriya said
The young man takes off his book bag and throws it at the sludge monster causing him to flinch
"GAH!" the sludge monster shouts as some of the sludge comes off of Bakugou
"Kacchan!" Midoriya yells as he tries to get the rest of the sludge off of the ash-blonde boy
"What the hell are you doing here!?" Bakugou asked in anger
"My legs moved on their own!" Midoriya answered before continuing "You looked like you were asking for help..."
"Stop it, Deku" Bakugou said mentally
[Outside the danger zone]
"Pathetic" Skinny-Might said mentally as he slowly begins to bulk up
[In the danger zone]
"DON'T INTERFERE!" the sludge monster shouts furiously as he tries to attack the young boy
"He'll die in vain, does he have a death wish or something?" Death Arms asked as he and the rest of the heroes try to save Midoriya
The sludge monster was about to hit Midoriya until he is interrupted
"I really am pathetic..." All-Might said as he was holding back the sludge monster's arm
"All-Might..." Midoriya said in shock
"Even thought I was admonished you, I wasn't putting what I said into practice!" All-Might admitted
The number one Hero release his hand from the sludge monster's grip and puts his hand on the part that was holding Bakugou
"Pro Heroes are always risking their lives!" All-Might shouts as blood was spewing from his mouth
"DAMN YOU ALL-MIGHT!" the sludge monster roared as he goes to attack the Pro Hero
"DETROIT...SMASH!" All-Might yelled
The Pro Hero sends out a very ferocious punch that causes the sludge monster to disperse into little tiny chunks. What makes this even better is that all the fire that was in the shopping district is put out
[Outside the shopping district]
"Alright, he took care of that guy" Civilian #11 said in happiness
"That's All-Might for ya" Civilian #12 cheered
"Look at the size of that tornado he caused" Civilian #13 said in awe
It was quite for a few seconds, until it begins to rain which makes all of the citizens and Heroes look up in confusion
"Rain...It's raining now" Civilian #14 said
"Don't tell me it's from the wind pressure just now" Civilian #15 said in disbelief
[Inside the shopping district]
"There goes that problem" All-Might said mentally
"He did it, he took down that beast"
"All-Might really is the best"
One by one, all of the civilians begin to cheer and shout for the number one Hero
"He single-handedly changed the weather and all he used was his right fist"
"That's amazing!"
All-Might raises his fist in victory causing the civilians to cheer harder
"This young man..." All-Might said mentally as he slowly turns to an unconscious Midoriya
Later that day, the heroes collected the sludge monster's scattered sludges, and safely delivered it to the police
"You moron, what were you thinking putting yourself in danger like that!?" Kamui Woods asked angrily
"Think of what could've happened to you if All-Might didn't show up!" Death Arms said sternly
"S-Sorry..." Midoriya apologized
Midoriya got scolded by the Heroes badly, while Bakugou was praised for his bravery and amazing Quirk
"That was seriously awesome kid" Hero #1 said in amazement before continuing "Once you become a pro hero, feel free to visit my agency"
"Deku..." Bakugou said silently
[Few hours later, with Midoriya]
"Dammit...I never got the chance to apologize to All-Might" Midoriya said before continuing "I'll try sending him a message on his website once I get home"
"Deku!"
The green-haired boy turns around and sees Bakugou walking up to him
"I never asked for your help" Bakugou said angrily before continuing "I would've been perfectly fine without your assistance...You're a Quirkless nobody playing without a full deck"
"Wait a sec-"
"Don't start believing that you can look down on me" Bakugou said before continuing "Are you trying to make owe you?...Don't think for a second that you're better than me"
The ash-blonde haired boy turns around and storms off
"You damned nerd!" Bakugou shouts
"Kacchan is really something else" Midoriya said before continuing "At least he's not dead"
WHOOSH!
"I AM HERE!" All-Might yells cheerfully
"A-ALL-MIGHT!?" Midoriya exclaimed in surprise and confusion before continuing "W-What are you doing here!?"
"HA-HA-HA, getting away from them was a piece of cake" All-Might grinned before continuing "Why you ask? because I am All Mi-PFOO!"
The Pro Hero spits out blood before returning to normal
"AAAHH!" Midoriya cries out
"Young man...I come with thanks, a correction, and a suggestion" Skinny-Might said before continuing "If you hadn't been there...If you hadn't told me about your life...I would've turned into a guy in a bodysuit who was all talk...Thank you"
"That can't be, it was my fault in the first place" Midoriya said before continuing "I got in the way of your work and I said all those impertinent things even though I'm Quirkless"
"That's right, it was because it was none other than the timid, Quirkless you at the scene that I was able to act" Skinny-Might explained
"Me...?" Midoriya said in disbelief
"Top heroes have stories about them from their school days, most of their stories have one thing in common...Their bodies moved before they had a chance to think" Skinny-Might said
"..."
After getting memories of people telling him he couldn't be a hero, the green-haired teen begins to shed tears
"That was true for you, too, wasn't it?" Skinny-Might asked
"Mom...When I was younger...the words I wanted to hear were-"
"Young man...You too can become a hero" Skinny-Might said
It was this day that Midoriya learned that dreams can become a reality
"You are worthy enough to inherit my power" Skinny-Might stated
Midoriya wipes his tears and looks up at the skinny man
"Huh?" Midoriya asked as he tilts his head comically
[Nine o'clock PM, outside of Chikaru's house]
"Home sweet home" Chikaru sighed in relief before continuing "I can't wait to go inside and take a nice long nap"
The brunette enters his home and is then greeted by an eighteen year-old boy who looks a bit like Chikaru. The eighteen year-old had jet-black hair that was slightly similar to Chikaru's, a caramel-brown skin complexion, and dark-brown eyes. The teenager was wearing a green short-sleeved buttoned shirt with a black T-shirt underneath, followed by jeans and red sneakers.
"What's up, little bro" the eighteen year-old said with a wave
"How's it going, Tyson" Chikaru greeted with a wave of his own
Tyson is Chikaru and Kaze's older brother and is the second oldest sibling in the Siwaka family
"How was school today?" Tyson asked
"It was alright I guess" Chikaru shrugged as he takes his sneakers off before continuing "Same crap, different day"
Chikaru soon walks into the living room and puts his bag on the floor before resting on the couch
"What a day..." Chikaru said to himself
"Have you heard the news lately?" Tyson asked
"You know I don't watch the news, Ty" Chikaru responded
"I'd check it out if I were you" Tyson said before continuing "You may be surprised"
"Might as well" Chikaru said
Chikaru grabs the remote control off the coffee table and turns to the news channel
"Earlier today, a sludge monster was creating chaos and havoc to the shopping district of Musutafu city, gaining the attention of most Heroes" the anchorman said before continuing "It was a truly terrifying moment as none of our amazing Heroes could do anything except save the innocent civilians from harms way; the situation gets even worse as the sludge monster takes a student from Aldera Junior High Hostage causing the heroes to hold their assault in fear that the horrible beast will brutally injure or kill that poor young man...To make matters worse, a foolish yet brave boy springs into action in an attempt to do something about the situation...Why he chose to risk his life like that his unknown, but all we know is that he did it and is still alive. All hope was lost, until the number one Hero All-Might jumps into the scene and deals with the monster saving the day like always"
"What the hell? when did this all happen?" Chikaru asked in surprise
"See? I told ya" Tyson said
"I thought All-Might took care of that sludge dude" Chikaru said mentally before continuing "When and how did he escape?"
"That kid never ceases to amaze me" Tyson said as he shook his head
"At least Midoriya and Bakugou are alright" Chikaru said
The brunette gets up from the couch and makes his way over to the stairs
"I'm going to sleep" Chikaru said before continuing "Wake me up when dinner's ready"
"No promises" Tyson grinned
"Screw you too, brother of mine" Chikaru said as he walks up the stairs
[In Chikaru's room]
"Goddammit" Chikaru groaned in annoyance before continuing "I told him many times not to do this"
The brunette was looking at a brown and white Shih Tzu that was currently sleeping on his bed. Chikaru walks over to the dog and gently shakes it a little causing it to slowly awaken from it's slumber
"ARF!" the Shih Tzu barked
"Hash, I would greatly appreciate it if you used your own bed" Chikaru said
The Shih Tzu complied with Chikaru's order and walks to his bed
"That's better" Chikaru said before continuing "Now I can-WOAH!"
Chikaru accidently slips on his skateboard and falls flat on his butt
THUD!
"Ow..." Chikaru moaned in pain before continuing "This room is too damn dark, I can't see a thing"
The teenager picks himself up and goes over to the lamp before turning it on. To Chikaru's surprise, the lamp doesn't turn on which makes the black-haired boy fiddle with the on and off switch continuously
"I could've sworn I replaced the bulb yesterday" Chikaru said
"ARF-ARF!"
Chikaru looks down and sees Hash looking at the lamp's plug which wasn't in the electric socket
"So that's the problem" Chikaru said before continuing "I bet Yuri or Sabrina had something to do with it"
The brunette bends down and picks up the plug, but for some odd reason, the lamp turns on
"What the hell?" Chikaru asked in confusion before continuing "Did that lamp just turn on by itself?"
Chikaru lets go of the cord and the lamp turns off again
"Okay...Let's try this again" Chikaru said
The teenager picks up the plug once more and the lamp turns on once more
"Something is definitely wrong here" Chikaru said in concern before continuing "I'm pretty sure light bulbs don't turn on by themselves"
"ARF!" Hash barked
"You're right, I should take a second to calm down" Chikaru said before continuing "I'll be right back"
[In the bathroom]
"Man...This house gets weirder and weirder each year" Chikaru said with a sigh as he was washing his hands
Once Chikaru is finished, he reaches for a towel, but accidentally touches a hairdryer and the electronic activates. This frightens Chikaru as he takes a few steps back
"Mom's hairdryer..." Chikaru said
The black-haired boy slowly walks over to the electronic and puts his finger on it. Soon enough, the hairdryer begins to blow hot air
"It's not even plugged in" Chikaru said
Chikaru puts the hairdryer down and proceeds to make his way downstairs
[In the kitchen]
"They're are gonna love this" Tyson smiled as he was chopping up tomatoes
"TY!" Chikaru shouts as he runs up to his older brother
"Slow your roll" Tyson said as he turns to Chikaru before continuing "What's the big issue?"
"Something weird is going on in this house" Chikaru answered
"How so?" Tyson raised his eyebrow
"The lamp in my room turned on by itself and I don't know why" Chikaru replied before continuing "Not only that, Mom's hairdryer turned on as well"
"My guess is that they're probably broken" Tyson said before continuing "We'll just get new ones on Saturday"
Tyson turns around and goes back to cooking dinner
"Come on man, help a brother out" Chikaru complained
At that moment, Tyson puts the knife down and lets out a sigh
"This is really bothering you, isn't it?" Tyson asked
"Is it not obvious" Chikaru deadpanned
"I got an idea" Tyson said before continuing "Do me a favor and step back for a sec"
Chikaru complies to his brother's order and takes a few steps back
"Alright, here it goes" Tyson said as he takes a deep breathe
The teenager clenches his fist and purple lightning begins to form around his body
"Hold on a second, what the hell are you about to do?" Chikaru asked in concern as he slowly back away
Tyson extends his hand and fires a lightning bolt at Chikaru knocking him back. After a few seconds, the black-haired boy gets up from the floor and storms over to his older brother before grabbing him by the shirt
"WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM!?" Chikaru shouts in anger before continuing "WHO OR WHAT POSSESSED YOU TO ATTACK YOUR OWN FLESH AND BLOOD!?"
"My bad, little bro" Tyson apologized sheepishly as he rubs the back of his head before continuing "I wanted to test something out"
"You're lucky it didn't hurt that much" Chikaru growled
"It didn't?" Tyson asked with surprise
"The only thing that hurt was the impact of the lightning bolt" Chikaru said before continuing "Other than that, I barely felt a thing"
"Well I'll be damned" Tyson said
"This was a waste of my time" Chikaru said before continuing "I'm going to call Dad"
The brunette was about to walk off until something happened...Blue lightning started to surround itself around his body
"What in God's name is going on?" Chikaru asked in awe and amazement before continuing mentally "Is this Ty's doing? I could never do this before"
"Chikaru...I think you just activated your Quirk" said Tyson who had the same reaction as Chikaru
"My Quirk is electricity..." Chikaru said on shock before continuing "Amazing"
