Target 101: Travelling to the Island

Back at the hallway, both Zell and Selphie meet up with Xu and they really want to know about Quistis' training.

"A lot of Trepies are getting crazy to see her along with the leader of the Discipline Committee. I thought Seifer is already out of the Garden for his entire actions."

"To be honest, he was finally redeemed after we beat the hell out of Sorceress Ulti-" Zell said until Selphie kicks him to his groin to shut him up.

"Don't mentioned that!"

"Owww...!"

"Why is Seifer decided to go to the dangerous place to be train like this? Care to explain to us?" Selphie asked Xu regarding about the training that Quistis is doing which she answers.

"Hmmm... I don't think it was not a training that Quistis was trying to do. She says that she was challenged by Seifer in whoever gets the most targets simply by attacking some very dangerous creatures on that island."

"Don't worry, you two... Quistis may be a whip wielder, she is also excel in magic. That is why she is the prodigy in this Garden."

"That's right... she was using the Blue Magic Limit. I easily guessed that." Selphie smiled in excitement which Zell replies.

"I just hope Seifer would always getting his ass kicked. Besides, that island is a hellish one, ya know..."

"Both islands are Island Closest to Heaven and Island Closest to Hell are inhabited with deadly creatures. I can't believe Seifer would decided to train there."

Both were horrified to see that Squall is behind them and Xu laughs over their faces when a comical music background has been played.

"Commander, sir... how is the teaching to the other cadets? That's the first time you ever tried it since you had graduated as a SeeD like we do."

"You were right about the teachings, Xu. Being an instructor to the other cadets are quite difficult." Squall sighed and he looked at both and noticing their plan. "Don't tell me that you two are trying to follow Quistis and Seifer. I know what you're thinking..."

"Take it easy, Squall... we just asked Xu about Quistis. There's nothing wrong about to ask anybody." Zell said which Selphie tells him.

"I've never seen you getting strict when you currently take this role. Back then, you always backstabbing on us because you wanted to live in solitude."

"You guys are threatening me for those." Squall said in a mild tone until he strictly warns them. For the last time, I prohibited both of you to follow Quistis and Seifer. Both of you had already disobeyed me for not following my orders. I'd like all of us to teach them as future mercenaries and we need to guide them whenever they gave them a field test. Just like what we did before."

Outside of the Garden at night, Quistis decided to pilot the Ragnarok Airship as Seifer is with her and he could not believe that his rival would even pilot this airship.

"I've never seen you can pilot this airship."

"If Selphie was in Squall's side, I'm the one can pilot this airship. Don't worry it has a lot of room to take a rest in here." Quistis said calmly to him.

"I can't wait to train on that island..."

At the backside of the airship, both Zell and Selphie manage to get through and still breaking over Squall's orders.

"You know Selphie... Squall is gonna get mad at us for this. You even tried to drag me into this mess."

"Shhh... I want to know what they're up to. I'd like to snoop around and see them." Selphie smiled as Zell noticed a wrist watch which is a communicator and it was lighted up in red and seeing that Squall was calling him.

"Oh damn... I clearly forgot... I gave Squall a communicator before I challenge him in arm wrestling earlier. It seems that he's calling me..."

"Zell you had turn it off..." Selphie whispered until both were collapsed due to the airship is taking off.

As the Ragnarok Airship takes flight, Squall walks by and realizing that both disobeyed him again while having his face palm as he thought.

Those two won't learn don't they. I already gave them a warning... Anyway, I might give them a sanction once they get back here.

Arriving at Island Closest to Hell, both Seifer and Quistis came out with their weapons in hand and knowing that the creatures are proven to be extremely dangerous.

"A lot of deadly creatures had already fell into our world, Seifer. I may strike with my whip. I'm also capable of using magic..."

"Yeah yeah... I can also use magic too. Just like what I did to Squall on our duel and this is why I scarred him. I'd like to give him another scar for those." Seifer smiled arrogantly as some creatures arrive.

Both attack them one by one with their weapons as well as their magic from their stock. Both Zell and Selphie watch the entire scene. Therefore, a Malboro strikes Seifer with Bad Breath causing him to get many status ailments. As Quistis, immediately disperse it with her Blue Magic Limit Break using Electrocute and she comes to Seifer's aid.

"You okay, Seifer..."

"I...I...uh... where is the enemy... I...need... to..."

Quistis laughs when Seifer was in a confusion state as well as other status ailments like blind and poison when a comical music background has been played. She casts him with Esuna to remove all negative statuses.

"You maybe a gunblade wielder who offensively attack the enemy. Mine, was just wiping the entire enemies with magic."

"Quistis... are you making fun of me? How can you beat enemies with just para-magic?!" Seifer complained as Quistis tells him.

"We'll see Seifer... Your arrogance is the reason you failed the SeeD field exam just to do whatever you want."

As both continued to take a target practice by beating most creatures, Selphie was amused to see how Quistis uses her Blue Magic Limit Break while letting Seifer to become dumbfounded into thinking she was using para-magic.

"Wow! She's incredible... using her Limits can wipe everyone else."

"Haha... that serves him right." Zell laughs at their expense until his communicator is beeping again as it clicks to hear Squall's voice who lashes him out.

"You two are no shame... disobeying my orders... You gave me no choice but to lower both of you-"

Zell immediately turns off knowing that Squall was angry on both of them which Selphie looked at him.

"What's wrong, Zell? You look terrified or something...?"

"Uhm... it was nothing, Selphie." Zell answered until he put both of his hands from his head, getting shaken over Squall's anger. "I should have known... Squall IS mad at us..."

"Really? He was mad?"

"Of course... he's mad. We're done for... We tried to follow his orders but we still disobeyed him. We maybe SeeDs but he's gonna lower our ranks once we get back at the Garden." Zell said while giving to his frustrations.

"I was such a nitpick, Zell. I'd like to have a look to see Quistis with Seifer and now Squall is trying to sanction us. He's so rude..."

"Say, Selphie... maybe we should let our frustrations by beating these creatures out then we snoop out on Quistis." Zell suggested which Selphie agrees.

"Agreed..."

With that both then sneak away to get to the separate side while Quistis continue to take target practice with Seifer.
