A/N Hello! Just saying, if any future updates are late, it is because of very, very, VERY annoying online school but I will try my best to write this fanfiction in my spare time. Thank you so much for supporting me and my writing. I also wanted to say that if anyone here has decided to go to my profile page and think I'm a weirdo, which I sort of am, I didn't know what to write. At all. Please tell me what you think about the story so far (a.k.a Review) and hopefully you guys find this chapter interesting!
The Doctor and Rose walked along a beach, and before you ask, yes, a beach on Earth. To be precise, Cornwall. Oh- and they were in the right time zone, in fact, her mum Jackie was screaming at her from 10 metres away. About how she should not have eaten all her ice cream in one go and now she would feel sick. But she ignored her. And carried on walking with the Doctor on the beach on Earth eating ice cream made by humans and it wasn't the year 3056 AD. In other words, they were doing something normal.
Which was very unusual.
"How are you still licking away at your ice cream? It still looks like you've bought it fresh from the stall!" Rose said, licking any melted ice cream of her fingers.
"Well I, unlike you, like to treasure my food for a while and don't want to get brain freeze. And I've got to say, some of the best Cornish ice cream I've tasted. Although there were some really good ones in 1963."
"Can you take me there?" Rose asked, both of her arms looping around the Doctors free arm, and looking up at him with puppy eyes.
"Calm down Rose, you've only just got off the Tardis." The Doctor replied, trying to avoid her puppy eyes. He was very susceptible to them, and he knew it.
"But-"
"No buts. Your family haven't seen you in ages." The Doctor interjected firmly.
Rose grumbled and looked down at her feet and then the pearly white sand. Cornwall was quite a pretty place. The sea was a beautiful deep shade of blue, and the long stretch of sand they were walking on was surrounded by grey rugged cliffs coated in lush greenery. All sorts of wonderful wild flowers sprung up in unexpected places, and the lack of people hogging the beach made it quite a nice retreat. But Rose still wanted to go to 1963. Or another planet. Or another Galaxy. All with her own Doctor. She just could not stay put.
"But Doctor, just one quick visit to 1963 would be nothing. We'd buy the ice cream and be back."
The Doctor couldn't hold out any longer. "Fine... but as soon as we get there, we get the ice cream and come back."
"Sure." Rose said, knowing very well that they would run into something interesting there and forget all about the ice cream.
Little did she know her prediction was about to come true. But not in 1960s Cornwall.
They started walking to where the Doctor had concealed the Tardis, somewhere hidden in the dense undergrowth they had just entered. The Doctor licked his practically untouched ice-cream once more, and followed Rose deeper and deeper into the forest of greenery.
"Don't suppose you could have hidden it any clos-"
A gunshot sounded. A clean loud gunshot. And it knocked the Doctor's ice cream clean off his hand.
The undergrowth rustled. And from it emerged a woman, with the most amazing frizzy hair in the world. Blowing neatly above it, and twirling her gun before stuffing it in her light brown belt. And she looked towards the Doctor and Rose.
And she asked...
"Have any of you seen a big blue box?"
A/N So there you are. Hope you liked this chapter. Please review! I will try and update as soon as possible after this. See you!
