Chapter 2: The Letter to Say the Book is on it's Way
A day or two later, in Avalor, Elena gathered Mateo and Flo to read the letter that Sofia had sent from Enchancia to tell her that 'The Lost Princess of Avalor' book was on it's way to Avalor.
Elena read the letter aloud.
"Dear Crown Princess Elena of Avalor...'
'I am quite shocked that Esteban would betray the Royal Family of Avalor. I dealt with betrayal before, a long time ago, with Mr Cedric, Dad's royal sorcerer. But I'm sure Esteban isn't really bad.'
'Anyway, I've just sent the 'Lost Princess of Avalor' book from the Secret Library to Avalor right now. It will be there soon. Don't worry, Mateo, you'll be soon seeing your grandfather soon enough. I know you will.'
'Signed, Princess Sofia of Enchancia.'
'P.S.: Be careful around someone like Ash Delgado; she's more worse than Shuriki ever was. But I know you'll stop her, like we stopped Shuriki together.'
Elena, Flo and Mateo stared hesitantly at the letter and at each other. "Did you hear that, Mateo?" Elena said to Mateo excitedly, "You'll be seeing your abuelo soon enough!"
"Si." said Mateo, "But I am worried, though, about what Sofia said about Ash. She's more worse than Shuriki ever was, and she was pretty bad."
"Si," Elena said. "I know how bad Shuriki was; I heard Esteban talking with Victor on the day he and Carla first came to Avalor for Carnaval."
With her powers, she played back a bit of the Series 1 episode 'King of the Carnaval', the bit where Victor and Esteban were talking.
"What could I do, eh? You saw what she did to Elena's parents! I had no choice!"
"I guess Esteban is right." Mateo said, "Victor did see what Shuriki did to your parents."
Flo trembled in fear of how powerful Shuriki was. "I hope I don't meet this Shuriki, Elena." she said.
"No temas, Flo," Elena said, "You wouldn't have to worry about her. I destroyed Shuriki ages ago, back before we even met you."
Flo felt much better. "I know you'll stop Ash and Esteban, Elena!" she said excitedly. "If you can beat Shuriki, you can beat her!"
Elena smiled. She was determined to take whatever risks it took to defend Avalor, and stop the wicked Ash Delgado before she caused any more harm to Avalor.

I hope Carla & Victor return in any one of these 3. I hope Craig Gerber decides to return Victor to normal, and reunite him with Carla, and have them both redeem.
And I bet you a review of my Inside Out 5th anniversary fanfic that there's a tearful reunion between Victor and Carla, when Victor is de-petrified.
