Hokage vs Pirate King #2

Uzumaki Naruto and Monkey D. Luffy were both subdued under piles of trees, and branches, a resulting conclusion from their previous blows. Both fighters were feeling the soreness from each other's attack, but despite this they both wasted no time at all, and shot straight out of their piles of rubble, simultaneously sprinting for the clearing, continuing where they left off.

Naruto formed two rasengans in both palms, and Luffy in turn stretched his arms backwards, hardening them with Haki.

"Sage Art Rasenrengan!"

"Gum Gum Hawk Bazooka!"

Naruto ducked under both of Luffy's fists at the last second, shoving the rasengans into the pink pirate's chest; launching him into the air.

"Wow, he's really fast" Luffy yelled in midair. He twisted himself to look down at the ninja who was still grounded. He was currently holding a large bluish-white shuriken above his head. Luffy had comical tears in his eyes. "Why. Why do I have to fight someone so. . . cool." He sobbed at his misfortune.

Naruto sweat-dropped and tossed the senjutsu infused shuriken at the now falling pirate. "Sage Art Rasenshuriken!"

"Uh oh." Luffy quickly wiped his tears and maneuvered his body so that his back would face the ground. He inhaled the surrounding air around him, blowing himself up like a balloon, and looked to where the giant shuriken had been. It was inching closer and closer. Luffy stopped inhaling air, faced towards the sky and released it all, allowing the momentum to push him to the ground, letting him dodge the shuriken which had swooped right passed him, cutting through multiple trees before detonating into a wind vortex.

Luffy looked at the aftermath of the vortex and saw many trees reduced to tiny pieces of bark. "Whew that would've been bad." He wiped some sweat off his forehead, glad that he had survived. He found himself touching land again, but as soon as his feet touched the dirt he was face to face with another giant shuriken.

Naruto smirked believing he had won with his smart plan, but in that split second Luffy put all the power he had into his feet to kick off from the ground, and vanish from Naruto's sight.

Dumbfounded Naruto sputtered "Wh- Where did he go? Damn it." Naruto shut his eyes, trying to sense him with senjustu. He's not behind me or below me so. . ." He opened his eyes having located him. "He's abov-

"Jet pistol!"

Naruto's head slammed into the ground before he even had a chance to look up or even process what happened, although he did have the chance to cough up some blood.

Meanwhile Luffy landed on the ground looking around exasperatedly making sure there were no more giant shurikens heading his way. "Glad that I learned Soru when I could. I might've died there if not for it."

"Jeez, he's fast." Groaned Naruto from the mini crater that had just been formed on the ground.

"He got you good brat." Chortled Kurama. "Don't you think you should be using my power by now?"

"Shut up fuzzy, I'm gonna get him back, and besides I'm starting to enjoy this fight. He has some interesting powers, I don't feel like ending it so quickly."

"Even though he ate your spicy ramen?" taunted Kurama.

"Don't remind me." Naruto said through gritted teeth full of grass and mud. He picked himself up, and charged towards Luffy, gathering Sage chakra around his fist. Luffy saw the hit coming a mile away and effortlessly evaded the punch once Naruto came close.

"Ha you miss-

His taunting was cut off short by the feeling of his face contorting as something slammed into it, throwing him across the clearing. Luffy touched his sore cheek. "Ouch." He winced. "He didn't even touch me so how?"

Naruto disregarded Luffy's question and bombarded him with more Sage enhanced punches, not even attempting to hit him with his own fists, but letting the nature energy do the work.

Luffy found himself being pushed further and further across the clearing by an invisible force, each hit bruising his body more and more.

Even so Naruto didn't let up his barrage till Sage mode had run out from the amount of Senjutsu he used, letting his eyes turn back to their cerulean blue, and the orange pigmentation fade from around his eyes.

Luffy lied face down, blood seeping out of his mouth.

"I hope that wasn't too much for him" Stated a concerned Naruto.

"It apparently wasn't." Replied Kurama.

The bruised pirate was slowly rising to his feet, a bit discombobulated from the beat-down he'd just received. He choked for a few seconds, and spit out blood along with a tooth. "Ugh, again?" He groaned, annoyed that he'd lost another another tooth from a fight.

Meanwhile Naruto quickly created multiple shadow clones, sending them off to fight Luffy while he remained completely still to gather energy for sage mode again.

Luffy started pumping blood faster in his arm, starting Second Gear, and sent jet pistols into all of the clones chests, dispatching of them quickly. He stretched his arm back, shrouding it with Haki, and dashed towards Naruto.

The blonde ninja opened his eyes which were back to yellow again along with the toad-like irises, and crossed his arms together like an x, preparing to block.

"Gum Gum. . .

Luffy was now right in front of Naruto and shouted "Red Hawk!" Just as his arm ignited on fire.

The flaming fist pushed Naruto backwards, his feet digging up dirt in the ground. Naruto smirked, having taken barely any damage at all, but found himself weaving his head to dodge another flaming fist as well as another one and many more.

"Red Hawk Gatling!"

The multiple flaming arms proved too much for Naruto as he found himself in the same position as Luffy once was. Sage Mode provided him with enough durability to resist the fire, but the hits were still coming in fast and strong enough to make him bleed.

Luffy stretched both his arms back to their fullest extent, and shot them forward with as much power as he could muster. "Hawk Bazooka!"

The black fists tunneled into Naruto's chest and rocketed him out of Training ground forty four and well past the leaf village's borders. Luffy slung his arms around two tree branches, and sling-shotted himself after Naruto intent on not letting his opponent leave his sights

"Owwwww." Groaned a scorched Naruto, stuck in a tree. His clothes were tattered now, and his classic orange jumpsuit he had on was in shreds from the back and forth between him and the pirate.

Kurama smirked at Naruto's unfortunace. "Still think you can win without me?"

Naruto saw his opponent soaring overhead who had noticed him. He had inflated his fists once again. "Nope." Naruto said gaping at the multiple giant dark hands flying for him.

"Gum Gum Elephant Gatling!" Luffy yelled, his punches becoming a dark blur as they approached the entangled ninja, and blow after blow rained down, until he was sure that the blonde teen was down for the count.

Luffy saw that he was starting to dig into the earth and assuming that was enough he stopped his onslaught, but as soon as he did something yellow dashed out of the crushed trees, and caught his line of sight. "What is that?" Questioned the Straw-hat Captain

The yellow streak appeared in front of him, answering his question as it revealed itself to be Naruto, sporting a yellow coat of chakra that was flickering like flames. He had six magatama patterns under his collarbone, and his whiskers were deeply thickened. As per usual his eyes were once again slits, and black, bold lines streaked across his legs. On his chest there was a bold semicircle.

The vastly more powerful Hokage swiftly embedded a fist into Luffy's chest, far too fast to be seen. The result was several sonic booms erupting, as Luffy soared through the forest.

"Think he's got anything else to counter this?" Commented Kurama.

"I hope so." Naruto said patiently waiting to see if the rubber boy had anymore tricks up his sleeves.

Luffy, now on the ground decided that it was time for his trump card. "Muscle Ballon." He uttered out; taking a deep breath, and biting into his haki covered arm.

His whole arm started to inflate along with the entire upper half of his body. His arms, legs, and much of his torso turned black as well as tinted red from the haki, which spread across the upper half of his enlarged torso like the wispy ends of flames. Just like the patterns on the Gum Gum fruit he'd eaten so long ago.

Shading covered the inner, and outer edges of his eyes resembling mascara, as steam continuously emitted from his body. The previously five foot seven Luffy now stood at four meters tall, as he repeatedly bounced off the ground, his two muscular arms replicating how he did jet pistols, but in a much more powerful manner.

"Gear Fourth!" Bellowed Luffy. "Bound Man!"
