Ding Dong, Let's Play

Long ago, in a seemingly ordinary neighborhood...hide and seek was a favorite. Everyone loved playing this game. But children didn't know that something inhuman had been watching them for a while. A girl was its target...she became the seeker, and chose a hider. Now...hide and seek will never have an end. Or will it? (The two characters in the song are friends in this.)

2. Chapter 1

Chapter 1: Always so happy

"Akito!"

My best friend, Rina, hugged me as I walked into the school gates. She smiled at me, a happy girl as usual. She wore that white dress, bow in her hair, white shoes...yeah, her family is pretty rich.

I smiled at her. She's always so happy.

As we walked into the school gates, we talked to each other. We're in the fifth grade. Almost out of elementary school!

"Hey! How about we play hide and seek today? After school?" Rina asked. I nodded.

"Sure! I'd love that."

Rina smiled once again. "Great!"

The bell rang. We rushed to class.

We sat down and we weren't late. Yay!

When the teacher walked in, class started. We all sat down and listened, took notes, just like any other school day.

Lunch rolled around as I sat next to Rina in the cafeteria. She was so happy.

Rina loves to make others smile. That's what I like about her.

Lunch ended, and we walked back to class.

"I don't wanna do math!" I thought.

But we had to. So I got out some paper and started to work.

"Ppssst! Akito!"

I turned around to see Rina touching my back.

"Do you have any more paper left?"

I nodded.

"May I have one? I'm out of paper."

I nodded and handed her a piece of paper. She smiled at me and thanked me. I just nodded and turned around in my seat.

Soon, math was over. That was our last class of the day.

Rina walked up to me after she packed up.

"Akito, ready to play?"

I nodded.

"I love hide and seek!" I said.

Everyone stood in a circle to figure out how we'd start out the game.
