Chapter 2. Dark Decent I

Ciel Pov

How could this happen, Elsword way struck down by Lu. She was confused by Elsword jumping in the way to take the hit. "Now why do you go and do that!" Lu spoke to him I could do nothing to stop her.

Elsword just laughed as he fell to the ground "I don't... know... Maybe because... the witch is... cute and I may... like cute things..." He spat blood in Lu face.

Aisha rushes towards him shouted "You damn idiot! What are you talking about? This isn't the time for you nonsense." Aisha voice begins to break as she tries her best to use a healing spell but it keeps coming out as poison aura making it worse on Elsword. "Damn it... Damn it! Damn it! Damn... it..." She started sobbing and screaming. "No it can't end like this..."

Rose stands there dumbfounded on what to do. She want's to go help Elsword but she is the only one other then Add that is even fit to fight the crazed demon. Only for Lu seems to be a bit calmed down. In fact I can see her wounds starting to weigh her down a bit, but not only that she seems to be distracted by Aisha's sobbing at the moment, she was smiling. I took the time to whisper to the two people still able to fight Lu. "I think I know a way to apprehend her knock her out. So she won't hurt anyone"

Add sneers at me "Why don't we just go ahead and kill her, and be done this shit."

"Are you crazy?" I whispered "I'll die too, and I am the one to serve her and all her needs.

Add just grunts "Fine I got some tranquilizers that "should" subdue the little lunatic for a while."

"It's strange that you consider a little demon girl a lunatic, when you are outright insane yourself Add." Rose commented.

Add glares at the woman "Bitch! You shut the fuck up!" He definitely earned the hateful glare from Rose as he continues "Anyway's Ciel I got an idea."

"Why do I get the feeling that I am also going to regret it as well" I said.

Add chuckles which did not help my suspicion. "I am going to give YOU the tranquilizer and your going to shank that needle in little Lu's neck, and she will be going to sleep before you know it. It's brilliant because she kill any one of us that would get close to her it seems, but I have a theory she would not attack you!" Add laughs at his plan like its full proof, which in truth it totally is. Leave to the psychotic inventor to bring Lu's closest ally, in which case that would me sadly, to use a something that would put a full grown giant elephant to sleep. I somewhat wonder if Add wanted to kill her using me to give her an overdose of tranquilizers, but what choice do we have now. It is either Lu killing everyone and she making me her little slave possibly maybe even a little "pleasure" toy for her. That thought alone makes me shutter but the alternative not great in any way, which would be me using the medicine to knock her out or kill her to be sure that Lu is subdued and wont hurt anyone else. "Well, what are you waiting for use that I gave you and put it in her system by literally by stabbing the bat-shit crazy demon princess' neck. If it puts her to sleep, we will think of something as we lock her up in a cage somewhere and throw away the key until we find out what the hell happen to her. If it kills her, great problem solved, and ding dong the fucking bitch is dead and we no need to worry about what happen to her!" Add mocked.

"You are such an asshole!" I blatantly said to him, which would probably be my last words but I snatched his tranquilizer, and stared straight at Lu who was relishing on Aisha misery. "Lu... What have you become..." I said while approaching her, but Rose grabbed my arm real quick like and whispers to me.

"Is this what you want... to be the one that could possibly end her." She stares at me with a sadden expression.

I couldn't look at her instead I just said one thing to her. "I made a promise to Lu that if she would ever start going down the wrong path that I would do anything I can with you guys to stop her. Her exact word were "Please promise me Ciel that you would stop me if I stray, do anything you can to make sure I don't hurt anyone innocent, even if it means... killing me" and I will uphold that promise" With that I jerked my arm away from Rose's as I could hear her sobbing behind me, and well I would cry too. The fact is I am crying "I don't want to do this, but I have to"

As I walked up to Lu, She heard me and turned to face me as she smile with all that El awful blood around her mouth when she bit two of the search party members. "Ciel... It's nice for you... *huff* to finally come too me... *huff* Did you get scared... *cough* *cough* by me." It was obvious she is still crazy but I can also tell she is badly weakened as well. "I won't bite... *deep breath* not hard anyway's."

I approached this carefully not to set her off again and lose the opportunity to restrain her. "Lu... You look tired, why don't come here and I will help you to your room" Good going Ciel this is Totally not suspicious, even a crazed Lu would see past this lie.

"I guess your right..." Lu surprisingly said. I can't believe she bought it, then again as I look closer to her she is really weak. She hobbles to me and hugs me tight, I slipped the tranquilizer in my hand without her noticing it. "You always understand me..." Really I don't anymore I thought to myself. "You will never hurt me..." Damn it Lu you're making this even more difficult. "We will be together forever..." I stabbed the needle into her neck, which made her flinch as I could hear her cry. "C-Ciel..." Her voice trails off as she loses consciousness and was drifted into sleep. Amazingly the dosage did not kill her. I pulled the needle out, I could see it got some of her blood already in it. Guess Add wanted to study her blood regardless of the outcome, because the needle already retracted her blood. As it dropped to the floor right next to Aisha and Elsword.

"I am sorry Lu." I apologies to her as I lay her now sleeping body to a nearby tree, both Add an Rose walked up to me cautiously. Add was looking frantically at me, I wonder why?

"At least she's alive. But now what?" Rose asked me. Which I honestly don't have the answers too.

"Where is the vial?" Add asked me cutting me off from my own thoughts. I looked at him and he repeated "The vial of Lu's blood, where is it?"

"I dropped it over..." But before I could finish the sentence I saw Aisha with the vial of blood in her hand and sleeve rolled up and I could see her ready to use the needle of pure demonic blood within herself. "Aisha No!" Everyone, even Chung and Ara/Eun heard me and looked towards Aisha who plunged the tainted blood into her system.

"What the fucking hell are you doing? Witch, are you El-damn crazy!?" Add shouted at Aisha.

"Aisha..." I spoke "Do you have any idea what you have just done?" She implanted demonic blood into her own veins. "Just drinking blood from a demon would make anyone go mad, let alone injecting it into your own blood." And to be honest I really don't know what happens to a witch if they chose to do this. I know if demon blood get inside of a regular human they usually get distorted and turned into horrifying abomination. But Aisha is no ordinary human being, she has magic within her and that can lead to a whole another ball game.

"I... argh.. know." Aisha stands up and with wand in hand. She smirks at Add while still gripping her arm she injected moments ago with Lu's blood. "Say Add... You like experiments right? Well, what do you think would happen if I tried using magic to summon something with my regular state?" Add just stares at her bewildered, I can see his mind trying to comprehend why a bright magician like Aisha would do something reckless as this. I wouldn't expect her of all people to do something this insane. She chuckles quietly walking to an open plaza in town "Guess you rubbed off on me Elsword. Heh, I guess this makes me a hypocrite for constantly chastising you about being reckless, yet here I am doing something totally stupid as well" She grips her arm tight and howls in pain as the tainted blood started flowing through her. She had her back turned to us

Add finally spoke up "You damn right it's reckless! I don't know what happens to people who do that sort of thing! Do you think it will give you more power or something?" Add tries to theorize Aisha's true motivation. "Or are you just suicidal, if so you bitchy ass needs to go get some therapy."

"Heh, look who's talking. And your right Add I need help, and I need more power. Guess we will see... arrgghh... What... happens..." Aisha then let out a screech, as her palm hit her face she begins to convulse violently as she hits the ground on her hands and knees. Coughing up blood as darkness seems to emanate from her. What pure light she had in her soul was now tainted from her decision. I see her continue to scream until she collapsed.

"Let me go to her, she may not recognize who is friend or foe. Hopefully this doesn't get worse." Rose stated.

"I really wish you have not said that. We have been jinxed up enough." I pleaded

Rena spoke after being silent for so long. "I wouldn't really call it a jinx, but a sadistic twist of fate we have here."

"You've been quiet all this time. I forgot you were even here, why haven't you helped us earlier." I angrily stated at her, until I saw what seem to be pure terror in her eyes. I also wondered why she did not do anything earlier was she this consumed by fear that it made Rena froze or what. I just snapped at her. "You were just standing there the whole time? You did not make any attempt to stop our friend from doing something reckless?" This whole situation got me all fired up now. One thing after another after another.

"I... I don't know what to do..." Rena falls to knees. It was evident to see the pure despair in her face. "Everything falling apart. First my forest is gone, Elsword dying, Aisha and Lu gone mad, Elesis..." She fell to her knees in a waterfall of sobs. "Why does all this have to happen? What have we done to deserve this?"

I was caught off guard by the elf suddenly breaking down. I felt guilty for snapping at her. I forgot about what happen to her forest a couple days ago. I don't know the details but something very bad happen at her home for her to never want to come back. As for Elesis... I really don't know. I hear rumors about her becoming this knight of darkness and such, but other than that I am in the dark. "Rena I'm..."

Add cuts me off again "Hey demon boy! What do you know about this situation here? I am not familiar with demonic fucking voodoo here, but its becoming more and more evident that it seems to be the source of all our misery here?"

"Wait what do you mean?" I asked him

Add just sighs "I am talking to mother-fucking wall here. I SAID do you know what kind of demonic bullshit that is going on here." Add glares at me with his one good eye. I am surprised about the amount of pain tolerance this guy has with his other eye being severely damaged from the burns he received earlier. Maybe it's adrenaline and the fact he is wounded put him in an even more sour mood than usual.

"I am just as clueless as you are? I usually ask Lu about this but..." I looked at her sleeping by the tree "yeah, so I don't know who else to ask."

"Great, we are officially fucked now!" Add throws his arms up in the air as he walks away from me, Mumbling and grumbling to himself in frustration. I glanced over were Aisha is, she still convulsing on the ground as she grasped her face. The blood staining the purple outfit she has on. I shift my focus to Elsword as he lay clinging to to his life by a thread, he needs medical attention immediately, so I kicked Rena slightly to get her attention, she raised her bloodshot eyes at me.

"Get your ass together at go help Elsword, he still needs to tended with. He will die if you don't do something now go and help him." I demanded her. She looked at me with such a pitiful look, which really tore me apart in the inside, but somebody has to take command on what's going on here. "You could have helped him earlier, but you were too much a coward earlier. Stop being a useless coward, and go help keep that reckless boy alive will you please." I picked her up and shoved her towards Elswords. She seems to get the message since she started to snap back into the normal Rena I know. She hurried towards him. I hated being harsh like that, but something must be done about Elsword. I lastly glanced over to Ara and Chungs direction. Chung was pinning down Ara who was in her white nine tails fox form. "Wait a minute, Eun a demon, maybe she would know what's going on." I spoke to myself as I approached them

"Well look who we have here? Such a handsome boy decides to come and play, even though a cute one right on top of me right now." That was definitely Eun speaking, Ara and Eun are a bit opposite on the personality spectrum. Ara is shy, squeamish and overall clumsy, while Eun is very outgoing, bold, elegant and quite direct. There's also the fact that the fox demon is more affectionate, though sometimes in very sexual way as well. Ara has a lot more control with her urges. I feel sorry for poor Chung here I bet he is hearing all kinds of lovely things from her.

Getting straight to the point I just ask "What is going on here? Your an ancient demon, so you may have some clue what happen to Lu and Aisha. Also why did you attack us while we were trying to restrain Lu?"

"So direct, Can't you guys have at least a little fun? Why not let me go, and we could have some "real" fun" Eun says licking her lips

Chung chimed in "Could you please saying these weird thing? It's really weird, and it is making me uncomfortable." His face was a bright red, as he kept her pinned down.

"Awww You such a baby boy!" Eun spoke as if Chung was a two year old. "Well you try being locked up for thousands upon thousands of years, and try not to lose your mind" She says to in a low like baby talk to Chung, the poor boy just groaned.

"Could you please just answer the questions?" Chung snapped.

"Alright fine, but you can let go of me now because Lucielia is asleep, and I can't be influenced by her right now, and before you ask why I am listening to her I will just say this. She bit me and asserted her dominance of strength. As for what happened to her, if I had to guess something really bad happen to her for her mind to snap" Eun explained.

I lowered my voice. "So something happened that traumatized her so bad that it simply just broke her mind."

"I don't really know what happened to her to cause this behavior from Lucielia, but if I had to guess it may have something to do with most of cloths being gone." Eun pointed out as Chung picked her up with her hands bonded. "Heh guess you still see me as a danger, but I take what I can get. I was getting so tense being pinned like that not that I mind having a male on top of me" Eun laugh.

"Get to your point you disgusting fox!" Chung yelled. If I had to take a guess what the interaction between the two were like while Lu was being put to sleep. I am willing to bet that Eun spat out quite a few dirty language and acting really "slutty" for a lack of a better word for me to describe her. "I had enough of your stupid perverted attitude!"

"Fine! Guess I will get back to my point... Maybe I should ask you Ciel about what she was doing what she said to you when you came back and saw Lucielia.

Seriously why am I being question? But I guess it may be a good idea to tell a brief story to Eun about what happened when I got home, about the bandits, the carnage, Lu's sudden obsession over me. The last statement really got the demon fox's attention, so I told her more about what she said to me "...Yeah it was weird she actually tried to have her way with me, kept saying that now that I am her age we can be quote unquote together. And uhh... She said something to me about not being a pure maiden anymore or something of the sorts."

Eun just raised her hands up for me to stop. She just sighs and I could see her in a serious tone for once when she finally spoke. "There is no easy way for me to say this, but I will say it anyway's. I think from what you just told me is why she became in a frenzy to start with." The fox sighs again. "Your mistresses Lucielia... has been raped, and I think Lucielia telling you that she is not a "pure maiden" was a way for her to tell you about what happened to her."

I just stood there not knowing what to think. Someone or something violated Lu, which not just took away her virginity, but her innocence, and compassion. I grit my teeth, bald up my fist, and with a shout of pure anger I knock a nearby building completely to rubble with just that single hit. Thankfully no one was in there. I continue my assault to now the ground as I fell to my knees crying and shouting in hatred. "Why. Why. Why! Why! WHY! She was just an innocent loli, she didn't deserve to have that taken away from her. Why wasn't I there to protect her when she needed me? Why does her innocence have to suffer for this? I know she was is handful, I know she has her temper-tantrums now and again, but she does not deserve for that to happen to her. What kind of useless servant am I?" I continued to cry in agony and smashed the ground until my hands were bleeding fro the relentless punching.

"Now it's not the time to tear yourself down like that Ciel" Chung tried to reassured me.

"I agree with the handsome boy, because we may need to focus on what is in the now. If fact I think you should turn around for what about to be the main event." Eun chucked. I reluctantly turned to see that Aisha was getting up, and something feels strange about her. She looks like the normal Aisha I know, but she gives off a familiar other vibe to me.

I stood up as I faced her "She's alive... yet she is different" I also see Lu stirring in her sleep right by the tree, but on closer inspection she seems to be having a nightmare. I know she won't wake up anytime soon, but I can't help but feel sorry for her in this state. Lu is probably having the same vision in her dream that caused her to go berserk. "Poor thing, wish I could have helped you sooner" I shifted my focus back on Aisha, when I finally decided to approach them with Chung and Eun following close behind. I could see the horror on Rose's face.

Add was more in shock rather than anything. "I did not think you be able to pull that off, but umm... I really still don't understand how or why."

As I got closer to her I can feel the dark radiating from her just like what I feel from Lu. Aisha was standing straight up back towards me. Facing rose, whom had the look like she seen a terrifying ghost "Are you ok?" I manage to speak, but I got no response. "Aisha... Are you ok?" I asked again.

"I'm ok..." Aisha finally spoke in soft tone. 'But..." She turned to me with her eyes somewhat closed at first. "I think I am no longer..." She opened her eyes with some tears streaming down her face. I could see her pupils in her eyes were slit shape instead of normal round pupil like every other humans. Her voice was weak and terrified as she finished her sentence "Human..."

"Aisha..." I said completely dumbfounded. "No... You don't want this kind of life... if you go down even further you may even become even less..."

She cut me off before I could finish. "Even less then what I already am!" Her eyes glowed with such hatred. "I've been holding back my darkness for so long..." I can hear the anger in her voice "I tried becoming another mage, I tried becoming dimensional witch or an elemental mage, but that's not the case now isn't it. Each time I use my magic it grows darker and darker like there is something tearing me apart from the inside. The hate that builds towards the one that stole my powers. Hate for all those who make others lives a living hell." It was clear her darkness runs deep even before her choice she has just made. "I hate those fucking demons, I hate Henirs organization and their fucking dark god, I hate that everything falling apart around here. I hate how Elesis became a black knight, which broke... Elswords heart." Tears stream down her face as she mentioned Elsword. Something tells me that he is one of the few things that keeping her from becoming a true terror in this world.

"Aisha please don't..." I spoke but she cuts me off again.

"Go to Hell. You and your fucking demon bitch!" The witch directed that right at me. Gotta say her words can pack a punch.

"Aisha listen to yourself! Your blaming Ciel for something he had no control over. We didn't know that Lu went berserk until he literally ran out of hi own home and trying to really get away from his mistress." Chung reasoned with her.

"For once I agree with cannon boy here! Take it from me you don't want this kind of power, It will lead you to very bad decisions... Trust me... I know." Add pointed out. I think he had done something really bad as well but I don't ever recall knowing.

Aisha held up her hand and snaps her fingers and casts a spell that made us silent "Funny... because apparently we are all getting dark powers whether we want to... or not. I can sense it in all of you, whether you fools know it or not!" She points her wand towards us and black vines come out of the ground and had us restrained "Just don't interfere." She turns her back to us and walks to Elsword. She proceeds to kneel down by him cradling his face, and kiss him on the lips.

My thoughts begin to circulate as It finally clicked in my head. I made a monologue of my thoughts of what has transpired. Aisha did all of this for Elsword, she is going to taint his soul for her own selfish desire. It was her desire for power as she wanted to become strong. It was her weakness to her own ambition that led her to this. Aisha may be a smart girl, but she is too much for her own pride. She fails to see that her actions this day will have consequences in the future. Consequences are sometimes cruel, and unjust and Aisha will learn that the hard way. I fear her pride will destroy her, but not only her, it will destroy the ones she holds dear. She is too blind to see we are all here to help her. It will he her blindness that will push us away, and it will be her blindness where she will lose the one she fell in love with, Elsword.

Aisha you may be a young brilliant and ambitious girl, but is your ambition worth your own heart and soul?
