At first it was dark, it was cold. Golden eyes look around, dilating within the black abyss as they search, for a light, for a shape. "Hello?" He called, his voice echoing off the nothingness around him. Slowly he step forward, cautiously and steadily, one foot in front of the other. He felt like he was walking forever, the blackness never-ending. As he walk his footsteps were delicate like he was walking on glass. His hair flow as a gentle breeze pick up the long dark locks and drop them back down to brush against the back of his legs.
"Ray!" A voice call out from the darkness, the lost male look up in the direction of the voice, there in the vast blackness was a glow, a sweet orange glow, like an ember growing into a flame, small but it was there. "Ray, come back to me. Come back to me please!" The voice begged.

"I… I'm coming." He call back making steady steps towards the glow, towards the low but desperate voice calling him. "I'm coming." He call again as he began to reach the glow, a shape beginning to form, a body of a man. As he got closer to the man in the light a hand reach out that he felt compelled to take, reaching out his fingers interlaced with the others, it was warm, and it was safe. "I'm waiting for you Ray; I'm waiting for you to come back to me."
Ray look up at the male but was unable to see who this person was. A frown fell over his features as he could not make out the face of the male in front of him. "Who are you?" He ask, reaching his free hand up to try and touch the face of the person holding his hand. "No wait!" The glow began to fade, the fingers lace with his own grew invisible and the voice became faint. "Come to me Ray I'm waiting for you."

"No! Wait! Please, please don't go!" Ray beg trying to grasp at the hand, he didn't want to lose that warmth. "Wait! Don't Go!" He yell, his hand shooting out in front of him and grabbing tight a coarse fabric.
"Mr Kon, wake up. Stop shouting. Pay attention in class and let go of my coat." The teenager blink sleepily, following his arm along to his hand, he look at the fabric held tightly in his fingers before quickly dropping the jacket. "Sorry, Mr Granger, Sir." He quickly sat up straight and ran a hand over his face, the rest of the class laughing at his outburst. So many similar dreams, so many times. They had start a few months ago and had been waking him up every night. That low, gruff but desperate voice who always beg him to return but never to where, Ray didn't know where to go. What did it all mean? He felt like he knew the voice, that he had known the voice all his life. But if he knew the voice why couldn't he see the face? He was suddenly snapped from of his thoughts as the lunch bell rang. "I want your essays on my desk first thing Monday, if it is not in you lose 10% of your final grade and you will not be able to go on the annual school trip. No matter if your parents sign the form." Mr Granger said simply as he move back to his desk.
Gathering his books together and pushing them into his backpack he glance up at the younger male who bound over with a grin. "Hey, sleepy head! Hiro is gonna hate on your ass if you keep sleeping in his lessons." He laugh. Ray sigh audibly and slung his bag onto his back, watching the younger brother of his history teacher. "Cheers Tyson, but beats him dribbling over me when I come round." Tyson grumble and shudder a little. "Ugh good point."

Tyson was a couple of inches shorter than Ray, his hair a midnight blue; which he always kept a red, white and blue hat squished on top of his head even though it wasn't school uniform. His skin was lightly tanned which made his deep brown eyes suit him perfectly. His uniform was never neat, his shirt tuck in only on one side, his tie hanging loose around his neck and his jacket hung loosely open, to opposite of Ray who always had a straight, tucked and tied uniform, his hair neatly wrapped in a long material; the end of his wrap hitting the back of his legs. "You heading to lunch?" Tyson ask excitedly.
"Yeah of course, I know you need your fill of fluffy blonde cotton candy." He smirk and move off towards the lunch hall before his friend could punch him, stopping briefly to open his locker and push his bag into it. A sharp pain shot across forehead, ruby red. It was a flash but ruby red eyes; they were beautifully seductive. "Ray. Dude, you ok?" Tyson ask concerned for his friend who had double over holding his head. "Yeah, yeah I'm okay. Just a headache." He mumble as he rub at his forehead, the noise of the other students starting to grate on his nerves a little. Huffing in pain he shut his locker and lean against the cold metal, pressing his fingers into his temples and rubbing in circles against them.

"Tyson! Ray! Hey guys!" At the sound of the voice Tyson's head spun and as his eyes land on the cute blonde walking towards them a blush began to form on his cheeks. Max was a short younger male in the year below them, with the fluffiest blonde hair and adorable freckles on his cheeks, his uniform perfectly pressed and tucked in, his tie perfectly centred on his chest. "H-hey Maxie." He stutter before he let out a grumble as he felt the elbow hitting his ribs as Ray knock into him over and over. "Stop it!" He hissed at the grinning cat.
Max move over and bounce in front of the two friends. "You okay Ray? Do you need some pills for that?" He ask watching the smiling cat rub his head. "I'm fine Maxie, how is that essay of yours coming along?" He ask.
Max sigh softly and shook his head a little, "I'm stuck again… would it be too much trouble if I ask for your help again?" the blonde smile up at the older male. Tyson's mouth fell open a little as the light of his life was asking another for help. "Well actually Maxie I coul-" he began but was cut off by Ray's reply. "Of course, I'll come by your house tomorrow? We can work on it together." He smile down at him before across at Tyson. "You pretty much failed this essay Ty, don't worry I got it." He wink.
The blonde cheer happily and bounce with a smile, "Thank you Ray! See you at 4 tomorrow!" he giggle and wave at the two before running off down the hall to his classmates.

Tyson turn and thump Ray in the arm with his fist, "Don't you dare touch my Maxie you sly bastard." He huffed before folding his arms across his chest. "Oh Ty, who can resist that cute fluffy hair and puppy eyes." He tease with a laugh as he walk away towards the lunch hall with the navy haired male whining and stomping behind him. Moving into the queue for lunch he pick up his tray and a sandwich, placing it on the tray he slid it along the line to the drinks and place a bottle of water onto the side before a sharp pain shot through his head once again. Grunting softly he held his forehead and squeeze his eyes shut. Thin lips and smeared blue paint, sweat and candlelight. A deep blush made its way onto his cheeks, what was that this time? Looking back at Tyson who had fill the whole of his tray with food he move over to pay when a tall male step in front of him. "Snooze you lose Kitten."
Ray try his hardest not to roll his eyes at the tall red head who grin down at him. Slapping his cash in the lunch lady's hand he salute the Chinese before moving off sucking the straw of interfey. "Dude! Why'd you let him push in! Hurry up my lunch is getting cold!" Tyson whine behind him. With a heavy sigh Ray pay for his lunch before moving off to find a table and sit down with Tyson joining him. He glance around the lunch hall quietly, he could see the red head had join the table with the other Russian kids, they seemed to stick together as a group. Outcasts really yet no one interfere with them, probably because of Spencer's sheer size, the guy was a brick house, he could flick you over. Ian was a weasel, annoying and good at spreading rumours. Bryan actually terrified Ray, he had no idea why, maybe it was the piercing stare he had. Tala was a joker and a flirt, he was pretty good looking with those beautiful blue eyes. Then there was Kai, stoic and untalkative. He never seemed to make eye contact with anyone or open a conversation. He had the looks Ray gave him that but otherwise no other redeeming qualities, he was surprised the male even had any friends.

Sighing softly as he heard Tyson stuffing his face beside him he move to open his own lunch. His mind focused solely on looking forward to this day ending and being able to greet his bed. Maybe he could sleep this headache off and not have any weird dreams. That would be nice. That would be extremely nice but unfortunately for our little Kitten, there was more yet to come to light and the holder of the icy blue eyes would make sure to that as he watch him tuck into his lunch, his slushy roaring loudly with his slurps. "Tala!"
