A few Months later.
Two guards approach the cell door. "Now what do they want?" Westley asked himself.
The guards opened the door "Prisoner 378 and 379, please walk out the cell slowly."
Westley and Talon looked at each other with confusion. They both got up from their beds and slowly walked out of the cell. "Put your hands behind your back." They both did what the guard demanded. "Move forward!" The guard demanded they walk until they were loaded onto a giant ship. They are placed on the third floor. Talon sat beside Westley in front of Him was two prisoners. Westley recognized them as the prisoners that were being arrested earlier.
Westley eyes widen. "You two are the guys that were being arrested by the two guards." "Yeah, we got caught in the garden collecting herbs."
One of the prisoners responded. "So, what's your name." Wesley asked. "I'm Jasper." "And this is Monty." The prisoner said while pointing to the prisoner next to him.
At the same Billy was in his cell with Charlotte they were sitting and talking "prisoner 295 and 296 up against the wall" a guard says from the door. Charlotte looks at Billy scared "what do we do" she asks him "do what they say" Billy says to her. Charlotte nods and puts her face up against the wall Billy does the same as the guard comes in and puts a wristband on both of them "follow me" he says to them they both look at each other and nod Billy and Charoltte were put in a line Billy looks in front of him and see "Octavia" Billy says she looks back at Billy and smiles they are put on the second floor of the ship Billy in the middle of both of them. "I'm scared" Charlotte says "hey you nothing to be scared about I'm right here" Billy says to her "who is she" Charlotte ask "that is Octavia the girl I was protecting" Billy says to her Octavia looks at Charlotte and waves "hi Charlotte" Octavia said to Charlotte "was he nice to you" Octavia ask her Charlotte nods.
After everybody was put in the drop ship they felt it fall out of the ark then a tv screen came on and Jaha's face showed up Billy as well as everybody else looks over at it. "Prisoners of the Ark, hear me now. You have been given a second chance and as your Chancellor, it is my hope that you see this as not just a chance for you but a chance for us all, indeed for mankind itself. We have no idea what is waiting for you down there – if the odds of your survival were better, we would have sent others. Frankly, we're sending you because your crimes have made you expendableIf If you survive, then those crimes will be forgiven- your records wiped clean drop site has been chosen carefully. Before the last war, Mount Weather was a military base built within the mountain stocked with enough non-perishable to sustain 300 people for 2 years good luck" Jaha says before the tv screen shuts off. They feel the ship shake "what was that" Charlotte asks " we just hit the atmosphere" Billy says to her they all hold the straps as they feel the dropship hit the ground.
A few moments earlier on the 3rd floor. Jaha's face appeared on a screen. He began to speak soon after the ship began to shake violently
"What was that?" Clarke asked. "That was the atmosphere." Wells answered. "Shit, shit, shit."
Talon began to panic. Three of the prisoners unbuckled and started to float. Some of the other prisoners started to cheer. "Spacewalk bandit strikes again. Go, Finn!" "Check it out. Your dad floated me after all." Finn says while floating. "You should strap in before the parachutes deploy." Wells warned. Bailey unbuckled himself and started to float. "Look at me I'm a bird!" Bailey says cheerfully. "Hey, you two, stay put if you want to live." Clarke says. "Hey you're the traitor who's been in solitary for a year." Finn says while smirking. "You're the idiot who wasted a month of oxygen on an illegal spacewalk." Clarke says aggressively. "But it was fun." Finn says.
Suddenly the three prisoners fall. "Stay in your seats. Finn, are you okay?" "Whoa!" Bailey says happily. Then he quickly walks to his seat and buckles in. "Retrorockets ought to have fired by now." Wells says. "Clarke There's something I have to tell you.." Before he could finish westley interrupts. "Hey I'm not trying to interrupt or anything but what are the chances we survive the crash." "I don't know." Wells responds. The prisoners began to panic. Then the ship crashes. "Listen. No machine hum." Monty says. "Whoa that's a first." Jasper replies.
"Oh shit." Westley says after looking at the two prisoners on the ground. They all get out of their seats and go down stairs.
With Billy Octavia and Charlotte
They all unbuckle their staps and got to the latter then to the lower level they see a guard in the front and Octavia was the first one one to speak "Bellamy" she says Billy and Charlotte walk with her over to Bellamy "look at you you've gotten so big" Bellamy says "why are you wearing a guards uniform" Octavia ask him "I needed it to get on the ship" Bellamy says to Octavia "look that's Octavia Blake the girl who was under the floor for 16 years" one of the 100 says Octavia looks mad "give them something else to remember you by" Billy say "like what" Octavia ask "like being the first person on the ground in 97 years" Billy says Bellamy pulls the lever and Octavia walks Out and steps on the ground "WE'RE BACK BITCHES" Octavia yells all the kids run out Charlotte looks at Billy he looks down at her and nods she runs out with the rest of the kids Billy watches as the main doctors daughter Clarke was down the steps and Wells then comes out "we got problems the communication system is dead. I went to the roofs. A Dozen panels are fired heat fried wires" Wells says "well all that matters right now is getting to mount weather. See? Look. This is us" Clarke says as she points at a map then she points at somewhere else on the map "this is where we need to get to if we want to survive" Clarke says. "Where'd you learn that? Your father" Wells says "Ah, cool, a map. They got a bar in this town? I'll buy you a drink, ''Jasper says to Clarke. "You mind" Wells says "Woah Jasper says "Hey,hey,hey hands off 's with us" John Murphy says "relax we are just trying to figure out where we are" Wells says.
"Were on the ground that not good enough for you" Bellamy says "We need to find the mountain you heard my father's message. That has to be our first priority" Wells says "Screw your father. What, you think you're in charge here? You and your little princess" Octavia says Billy looks at Octavia with a look that tells her to cool down she looks at him and nods he nods back. "Do you think we care who's in charge? We need to get to Mount Weather not because the chancellor said so, but because the longer we wait, the hunger we'll get and the harder this will be. How long do you think we will last without supplies? We're looking at a twenty-mile trek, okay? So if you want to get there before dark we need to leave now" Clarke says to Bellamy " I got a better Idea you two go find it for us let the privileged do the hard work for a change" Bellamy says Yeah yeah yeah the others kid cheer Billy looks at all of them just watching. "You are not listening we all need to go" Wells says "look at this everybody… chancellor of earth" Murphy says "think that's funny" Wells says as murphy pushes him then trips him Billy steps down and grabs Murphy and throws him on the ground everybody looks at him "kids got one leg wait till its a fair fight" Finn says as he comes down Octavia comes over "hey spacewalker save me next time" Octavia says to him Finn smiles then walks away Bellamy looks at her "what he is cute'' Octavia says "he's a criminal." Bellamy says "they're all criminals" Octavia says "look O I came down here to protect you" Bellamy says now that they we're alone for a moment. "I don't need protecting. I have been locked up all my life. I am done following orders. I need to have fun Bell. I need to just do something crazy just because I can and no one including you is going to stop me" Octavia say "what about the guy you have been around here and at the party" Bellamy says " he is just a friend" Octavia says. "I can't stay with them O" Bellamy says "now what are you talking about" Octavia asked him "I did something okay to get on the dropship something that they will kill me for when they come down I can't say what it is just yet but you have to trust me you still trust me don't you" Bellamy says "yeah" Octavia says Billy was over by Finn Clarke and Wells along with a few others. "UH so mount Weather when do we leave" Finn says to Clarke "right now we should be back by tomorrow with food" Clarke looks at Billy "will you come" she ask Billy "no I will stay make sure none of them do anything stupid" Billy says to Clarke who nods "I'll go" another teen says "Who are you" Billy ask "my name is Westley" Westley says Billy looks at Clarke who nods "How are the three of you gonna carry enough food for one hundred" Wells ask Finn grabs Monty and Jasper "five of us can we go now" Finn says "sounds like a party make it six" Octavia says "what are you doing" Bellamy ask her "going for a walk" Octavia says Clarke looks at Finn "were you trying to take this off" Clarke says while looking at his wristband. "Yeah so" Finn says "so this wristband transmits your vitals to the ark. Take it off they will think you're dead" Clarke says "should I care" Finn says "Well I don't know do you want the people who love you to think you're dead." Do you want them to follow you down here in two months because they won't if they think you're dying "Clarke says Billy looks over at Bellamy who has these eyes while looking at the wristbands and he does not like it. "Okay" Finn says "now let's go" Clarke says " go on" Bellamy says to Octavia who follows..
With Westley, Clarke, Jasper, Monty, Finn and Octavia
Finn puts a flower behind Octavia's ear. "Now, that, my friend, is game." Jasper said. "That, my friend is poison sumac." Monty replied. "What? It is?" Octavia said as she quickly flung the flower off her ear. "The flowers aren't poisonous. They're medicinal, calming actually." Monty answered with a grin. "His family grows all the pharmaceuticals on The Ark." Jasper said. "Hey, guys would you try to keep up?" Clarke says while walking ahead. Monty, Jasper and Octavia walk at a faster pace. "Come on, Clarke. How do you block all this out?" Finn asked?
"Well, it's simple. I wonder 'why haven't we seen any animals?' Maybe it's because there are none. Maybe we've already been exposed to enough radiation to kill us. Sure is pretty, though come on." Clarke replies. "So, Westley what happened after you have Me and Monty the opportunity to escape?" Jasper asks. "Well, I pissed those pigs off, so they decided to involve me in your crime." Westley answered. "Oh, so you're being punished for no reason. Well I thank you for helping us escape." Jasper said with a smile. "But you didn't escape, you got sent down here with the rest of us." Westley said. "Guys! Hurry up!" Clarke yelled angrily. "Someone should slip her some poison sumac." Octavia says. Jasper let out a loud laugh.
The four rushed over to Clarke and finn.
"I got to know what you two did to get busted." Finn says to Monty and Jasper. "Sumac is not the only herb in the garden, if you know I mean." Monty replies. "Someone forgot to replace what we took." Jasper said. "Someone has apologized, like, a thousand times." Monty says in an irritated voice. "How about you, Octavia? What'd they get you for?" Jasper asked? "Being born." Octavia replies. While rushing off to Clarke. "That is so not a game." Monty responds
Clarke motions the rest of the group to come to her. When the rest of the group catches up to Clarke they see a beautiful deer. "No animals, huh?" Finn says. Shortly after Finn accidentally snaps a twig. The deer looks up at the group revealing It's two heads. "What the.." Westley mumbles. The group continues to walk.
1 Hour later back with Billy at the dropship
Billy watched as Wells came out of the woods Murphy walks over to him "you find any water" he asked Wells. "No not yet but I'm going back out if you want to come" Wells says to Murphy the other kids laugh Billy was over by the side watching this ready to step in if need be.
"You know my father, he begged for mercy in the airlock chamber when your father floated him"Murphy says to Wells. Wells looks over at the dropship that says the first son and the first to dye "you spelled die wrong geniuses." Wells said as he walks away which made Billy laugh Murphy glares at him.
"If your gonna to kill someone, it's probably best not to announce it" Bellamy says as he comes over to Them Bellamy Motions for Billy to come over he walks over "your not a really a member of the guard are you" Murphy ask Bellamy. "No. The real guard will be here soon unless we stop it. You don't actually think they're gonna forgive your crimes. "Even if they do, then what? Guys like us, we're gonna become model citizens now, get jobs, if we're lucky, maybe pick up their trash?" Bellamy says to them "You got a Point" Billy asks Bellamy. "No I got a question they locked you up dumped you down here like lab rats to die so why are you helping them" Bellamy says to them "the hell we are" Mbege says " your wearing those bracelets aren't you? Right now, those things are telling them whether or not it's safe to follow you down" Bellamy says "okay you said we could stop it how"Murphy says " Take them off the Ark will think your dead that it's not safe to follow. You follow?Bellamys says to them "right and if we do I mean what's in it for us."Murphy asks him while motioning to them "someone has to help me run things." Bellamy says Billy looks at them then walks away He looks for Wells and finds him in the dropship he was sitting with Charlotte Billy walks over "hey" he says to them "hi" Charlotte says to him as Wells did the same thing "listen both of you stay with me they plan on taking off the wristbands and you will be one of the first people they go after" Billy says to Wells "if they take them off everybody on the ark dies" Wells says "I know I agree with you trust me Wells" Billy says to him "as for you I need you safe so stay by me" Billy says to Charlotte who nods Billy then looks back at Wells "why did they sent us down here" he ask Wells "the oxygen on the ark Is falling" Wells says Billy nods then motions for them to follow him
Back with Clarke,Jasper,Monty, Octavia and Westley
"Hey you know what I'd like to know? Why send us down today after ninety seven years? What changed?" "Maybe Jaha the prick had enough." Westley replies. Jasper was about to say something but was interrupted by Octavia. "Who cares? I'm glad they did. I woke up rotting on a cell, and now I'm spinning in a forest." "Maybe they found something on a satellite, you know, like an old weather satellite or it wasn't a satellite." Monty says. "The Ark is dying. At the current population level, there's roughly three months left of life support, maybe four now that we're gone." Clarke says. "So that was the secret they locked you up to keep. Why they kept you in solitary, floated your old man." Finn says.
"My father was the engineer who discovered the flaw. He thought the people had a right to know. The Council disagreed. My mother disagreed. They were afraid it would cause a panic. We were gonna go public, anyway, when Wells…" Clarke replied. There's a moment of silence until Monty speaks. "What, turned in your dad?" "Anyway, the guard showed up before we could. That's why today. That's why it was worth the risk. Even if we all die, at least they bought themselves more time." Clarke continued. Westley began to laugh "What?" Clarke asked in an angry voice. "It's just another reason why we should just let those bastards rot." Westley replied. Clark walks closer to Westley "Some of us have family up there, I'm sure you do too!" Clarke said aggressively. "He's right! Let them all rot." Octavia says. "You don't mean that." Jasper says. Clark walks away from Westley.
The group continues to walk until they reach a stream. Octavia began to strip off her clothes. "Oh damn, I love Earth." Jasper says while staring at Octavia. "Oh! Holy…" Monty says. "Octavia, what the hell are you doing?" Clarke asked with a concerned expression on her face. "Relax Clarke, have some fun for once." Westley says while taking off his shoes.
Octavia jumps into the stream. "Octavia! we can't swim." Monty shouted. Shortly after Westley jumped into the stream. "I know but we can stand." Octavia shouts back. "Wait. There's not supposed to be a river here." Clarke says with a confused voice. "Well, there is. So take off your damn clothes." Finn responds.
Jasper sees a strange shape moving in the stream, between Octavia and Westley. The figure began to swim closer to Octavia. "Oh… Octavia, get out of the water! Get out of the water now!" Jasper shouts. Westley looks over to Octavia. "Oh, shit." Westley mumbles to himself. "Octavia! Go now!" Westley shouts.
Westley rushes towards her and starts splashing. Octavia reaches the shore, soon after Westley is dragged under the water. "If we distract it, it might let him go. Help me." Clarke said. Jasper and Finn ran into the stream and began to splash and throw rocks.
Westley emerged from the water, the water around him was now red. "It worked. It let him go." Finn said. Westley ran for the shore. He fell a few times but managed to get back up, and started running for shore again.
Westley reached Jasper and Finn. The creature began to swim towards them. "It's coming back."
Finn says. "It's headed right for you, guys." Clarke shouts. Jasper and Finn wrap Westley's arms around their necks and rush to shore.
"Thank you." Westley said faintly. "You're going to be okay." Clarke says.
The group walked back into the woods not too far from the stream.
Few hours Later night at basecamp
Billy and Wells walk out of the dropship as fox gets her wristband took off "who's next" Bellamy yells "what the hell are you doing" Wells says to Bellamy "were liberating ourselves what does it look like" Bellamy says "It looks like you're trying to get us all killed. The communication system is dead. These wristbands are all we got. Take them off, and the Ark will think we're dying, that it's not safe for them to follow." Wells says. "That's the point chancellor we can take care of ourselves can't we" Bellamy says "Yeah" the other kids yell "You think this is a game? Those aren't just our friends and our parents up there. They're our farmers, our doctors, our engineers. I don't care what he tells you. We won't survive here on our own, and besides, if it really is safe, how could you not want the rest of our people to come down?" Wells says " My people are down those people locked my people up those people killed my mother for the crime of having a second child your father did that" Bellamy says to Wells "my father didn't write the laws"Wells says. "No he enforced them but not anymore not here, here there are no laws" Bellamy says "Here, we do whatever the hell we want whenever the hell we want. Now, you don't have to like it, Wells. You can even try to stop it or change it, kill me. You know why? Whatever the hell we want." Bellamy says "whatever the hell we want" Murphy yells "whatever the hell we want" The kids yell "quiet" Billy yells everybody quiets down and looks at him "Listen and listen closely if anybody else takes off there wristband you will regret it" he says the kids look at him" The oxygen on the ark is failing How many of you have mother fathers on the ark" Billy ask Most of the kids raise their hands "Give me two weeks or until we can contack the ark then they are gone is that agreeable" Billy ask everybody nods "good now get some sleep" he yells then it starts to rain and they all smile Bellamy and Murphy glare at Billy "we need to collect this" Billy says "whatever the hell you want" Bellamy says "come on" Billy says to Wells and Charlotte who nods he leaves them up top and shuts the hatch and locks it "sleep" he says to them they both nod
Back with Clarke Jasper Monty Octavia and Westley
"You wanted to go first. Now quit stalling." Clarke said as finn grabbed a vine.
Mount weather awaits." Octavia says cheerfully. "Just hang on, and you'll be fine." Westley says.
"No, really?" Finn says sarcastically See you on the other side. "Wait." Jasper says. "What?" Finn answered. "Let me. I can do it." Jasper says with a grin. "Knew there was a badass in there somewhere." Finn replies. Jasper chuckled.
And grabbed the vine. "Hey, it's okay to be afraid, Jasper. The trick is not fighting it" Finn says. "See you on the other side. Ha ha!" Jasper says before swinging. Jasper lands safely on the other side of the stream. The rest of the group begins to cheer "Yeah! Go Jasper! You did it!"
Finn hands Clarke the rope "Clarke, Don't let go." Westley says with a smirk. Jasper picked up a sign that looked really old. It read "Mt, Weather." He began to cheer. Suddenly Jasper Falls backwards hitting a tree. A spear was sticking out of his torso. "Oh no, Jasper!" Westley says. "Jasper! No…''Monty cries out.
"We are not alone." Clarke says, while in shock.
