Annabeth's POV
I woke up and rolled on the bed to check the time. I squeezed my eyes and opened them wide. I heard the kids playing in the toy room downstairs and Percy was playing with them. I tapped my phone screen and looked at the time. Oh my gods! "KIDS, PERCY! COME UPSTAIRS!" I hollared. Immediately I heard footsteps pouding on the stairs. "Yessss?" Nathaniel said mischeviously. Nathaniel was seven years old, let's just say he's our house prankster. Nathaniel's hair is kinda different. It's like a black with blonde highlights. His eyes are basically a brown with some green towards the middle. "Look. At. The. Time. Perseus. Jackson" I said pausing between my words. "Uhhh it's 12:27 what's wrong? Why are you looking at me like that?" Percy asked. "PERSEUS JACKSON WERE SUPPOSED TO BE LEAVING THE HOUSE TO GO TO PIPER AND JASONS RIGHT NOW!" I yelled angrily. "Oh." Percy responded. Ugh he can be such a Seaweed Brain! "Go get ready all of you! Wait-wheres Gabriella?" I asked suspiciously. Seraphina looked at me nervously. Somehow she had gotten amber eyes and brown hair, she looked kinda scared. "Well dad wanted to play around with paint and we'll this happened, hold on let me go get her." Seraphina explained. Percy looked really really nervous. I waited for Seraphina to come back. We were wasting time we had to hurry up! Then Seraphina came in holding a baby with blonde hair and sea-green eyes. But something was wrong, very wrong. Gabriella looked like she had been dipped into a pool of paint! "OH, MY GODS!" I yelled. "PERCY! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?" "I'm sorry Annabeth I can give her a bath while you and the other get ready if you want?" Percy asked. I sighed and put my head in my hands. Thalia came up to me and hugged me. I looked back at the time ugh 1:30. Thalia looked at me with sad grey eyes, her raven back hair covered her forehead. I looked up and said "Well I'll have to tell Jason and Piper were going to be a little late and Percy go give Gabriella a bath now." I said strictly and continued. "Thalia and Seraphina help Charles and Nathaniel pick out heir clothes then all of you get ready. Got it?" I said running out of breath. "Got it." They all said and went running off. I pulled out my phone, ugh 1:33. Then I started texting Piper.
Annabeth: Hey Pipes, I'm going to be kinda late today. Just letting you know.
I sighed waiting for the read sign to pop up. Finally it did.
Piper: It's okay, it's probably really hard having five kids.
Annabeth: It is lol
Piper: While I should go make the salad, see you soon?
Annabeth: Yeah, see you soon.
I put my phone away and walked towards the shower. I stripped my clothes and pressed the shower button. As soon as the water was warm enough I jumped in. The water felt good, it was relaxing although I do wish I had time to take a bath. I grabbed my shampoo bottle filled with lemon-scented shampoo and poured some on my head. Showers are always nice.

"That was nice." I muttered and wrapped the towel around my body walking towards my closet. "Boy was I crazy to marry Percy." I said while looking at simple clothes. Then I wondered do I have to dress formally? I pulled out my phone and texted Hazel who was also going to the party.
Annabeth: Hey Hazel, do we have to dress formally for the party?
Hazel responded right away.
Hazel: Piper already told us but no, we can dress in whatever's comfortable.
Annabeth: Great, thanks!
Hazel: Anytime Anna!
I smiled and put my phone away pulling out jeans, a white long sleeve turtle neck shirt, and a belt to strap my new dagger too just and case. I walked over to the bathroom and pulled out some makeup. "Only a little bit." I reminded my self. Makeup irritates my face which means I can't really wear much. I put on a little mascara and blush just to touch up my face and moved on to my hair. Hahaha if your wondering, no I'm not that type of girl that spends hours on her hair. Just then five-year-old Charles ran into my room with Thalia at his side. "Like it mommy?" He asked. Charles wore a black skeleton t-shirt (Gift from Nico) and blue jeans. "Charles you look really nice but I don't know if that t-shirt fits... Why don't you wear that the dye t-shirt Grandma Sally got you?" I said. Charles sighed with a sad look on his face. Thalia just smiled. "Haha told ya she would say that, pay up Charles." "Oh fine." Charles said and pulled out a five-dollar bill from his pocket and handed it to Thalia. I immediately felt really bad for saying that to him but also wanted to say something about betting. Just before I said It Charles walked out with Thalia and went to go find the dyed shirt. His sad blue eyes were so convincing and the way Charles parted his blonde hair made him look so cute! I turned back to the mirror and blow-dried my hair. Gosh I wish I had straight dark hair! It would be so much easier to work with and I wouldn't have to deal with being called a dumb blonde. Just after I blow-dried my hair I decided to quickly straighten it. While I guess right now I am being the kind of girl who spends a lot of time with her hair. I looked around and grabbed some high black boots and my bag. "Good enough." I muttered and walked downstairs to go find the others. There was all of them. (This part is just describing so you can skip if you want) Percy wore jeans and a white t-shirt, Seraphina wore a white blouse and blue jeans, Charles wore the dye t-shirt and blue jeans, (I still felt kinda bad.) Thalia wore a pair of soft black leggings and a matching white blouse like Seraphina's, Nathaniel had black jeans and wore a Ron John surf shop tee, and then there was Gabriella she had the cutest little pink dress on and her straight blonde hair was combed. I walked up to Percy "I love you and I forgive you, thanks for helping Gabriella." "That's what I do, help my wife." I smiled and turned to the kids. "You all look wonderful!" I said cheerfully and looked at the clock. It was 1:36. We should go." Seraphina piped up. "Yes, your absolutely right!" I said and shooed them into the car. Piper and Jason's house was only fifteen minutes away which means we should be there around 1:50. Gods I love my family I thought and walked out the door and into the car.
