Joseph stood in the arrow cave, gearing up, he zipped up his green suit, taking some throwing darts and putting them into his side. Strapped in his quiver, as he grabbed his black domino mask out of a small box and put it on. And the hood.

"Who is that?"

"Where'd he come from?"

The Green Archer stood on top of a helipad, as a group of bodyguards escorted a man across the building. Who's name was Mr. Bohlwinkel.

As the bodyguards ran up to the Green Archer. Vigilante Archer smack the first guard with his bow before kneeling him in the stomach and throwing him aside. The other three guards ran up to him and began to attack him. But Green Archer dodged out of the way, punched and kicked one of them in the face and back. A second one went to uppercut him. But Green Archer grabbed his arm into an arm lock. Spin around threw the guard aside. The other two guards got back punched and kicked out of the way. As the Green Archer notched an arrow and fired to disarm a gun away from the last remaining guard.

The guard that the Green Archer tossed aside started to recover. He stood up and went to attack the vigilante. But Green Archer knew that he was going to recover.

He spun around and fired an arrow to the guard in his chest. Before he shot another arrow to the last remaining guard in his leg before he smacked him in his head with his bow.

Once that has been taken care of The Green Archer raced to Mr. Bohlwinkel hearing him beg. But the Green Archer didn't want to hear it, he grabbed the corrupt businessman by his suit jacket and dropped him onto the air conditioning unit. Dropping down next to him as he slammed his foot into the grate that was covering the fan. the Green Archer grabbed the corrupt businessman by his hair well what's left of it, held his face inches away from the spinning planes.

"No! No, please don't!"

"Mr. Bohlwinkel, you have failed this town. Cell phone, inside pocket, call your partner and tell him to give those pensioners back their gold coins, do it now." Green Archer demanded, he jumped off the air unit and began to walk away.

(Shantae's lighthouse)

Shantae is listening to the radio news report regarding Mr. Bohlwinkel, while she puts on her Genie outfit.

"Over the past 10 years, Mr. Bohlwinkel has withdrawn more than 40 million gold coins from the plan's account. Mr. Bohlwinkel claims to refund the Halcyon pension plan has always been his intent. But sources say Bohlwinkel was coerced by the vigilante the Green Archer"

The radio was turned off. Shantae was finished with her outfit. She can't believe it's been 5 days ever since the Green Archer came to her town. Shantae admits to herself that she needs someone that can take care of the town while she is away stopping her enemies and nemesis.

She can't help it but feel a little jealous that some people are supporting him instead of her. But she must not let jealousy control her.

Shantae does want to protect everyone including her friends in this town. But she can't be in two places at once. She's always out in the world-saving other people in Sequin land.

Shantae wished she could stay in one spot at a time to save people but that's how the world works.

She really should thank the Green Archer for taking care of her town. But she's not going to yet. Not until he calls her. But he hasn't yet. Shantae still needs to be patient once the Archer calls.

Shantae snaps out of her thoughts. She heard her door knock. She climbs down the rope to the lower floor of the lighthouse. Went over to the door, opening it revealing to be Joseph Queen.

"Hello, Shantae" Joseph greeted.

"Hey, Joseph" Shantae hasn't spoken to him ever since she first saw him in the police station. "So what are you doing here?"

"Well, I'm here to ask how long you been enemies with... you know the purple lady," Joseph asked

Shantae then explains "5 years, I've been enemies with Risky Boots for 5 years. Me and her, keep on fighting each other a lot. But one time, we joined forces as traces to defeat her former Mentor the pirate master. But that didn't last long. I knew once we help each other we go back as enemies in our separate ways. I still remember that one time my powers were gone and I transformed into a human. Eventually, I got used to being human without powers. But until a couple. Months ago, my powers have returned. I'm now back to a half-genie."

"That's an interesting story, especially the pirate master. I heard about him. He's a dangerous skeleton pirate and believe it or not. I even met him before"

"You met him?" Shantae says in shock.

"Yeah, I haven't faced him or encountered him. However, he did teach me. How to control my darkness so it doesn't consume me" Joseph replied.

"And you believe him?" Shantae asked.

Joseph nodded.

Shantae shook her head and sighed "oh goodness, Joseph I wouldn't believe him. You have to live on what's inside you. It's inside you not being taught with a creature with dark magic. Don't believe in the Pirate Master. he doesn't even know what he's talking about"

"Why?"

"Because. One of these days. You're going to realize that his teachings are wrong." Shantae pointed out. "and that worries me"

Joseph stood silent. Shantae is right, he needs to heed her words. The Pirate Master is a dark creature and his teachings from Joseph could lead him into a dark path that he cannot go back to the light.

However, he needs to think about what she said.

"I'll think about what you say," Joseph said before he turned around and walked away.

"Thank you," said Shantae "and Joseph."

Joseph stopped but didn't turn his head at her.

"If you want to you can live with me, I know you're homeless and you don't trust me and all, but you can't be sleeping in the street out there all the time" Shantae offered. "Eventually you'll get cold or get sick."

"I'll think about it," Joseph continued to walk away.

(Arrow cave)

Joseph was doing a bunch of exercising, push-ups, sit-ups, sit-ups, and jumping jacks. To strengthen his muscles.

Once he was finished. He goes to target practice making sure his aim isn't sloppy.

As his training was done. He began to gear up to attack his next target on the list.

'Al Capone. The town's police and da cannot stop him, or won't. The attorney representing Victor Simmons' son, Thomas Lance, like his father, is one of the few good law enforcers in this town. He thinks he's the only one who can bring Al Capone to justice. He's wrong'

(Night)

Al Capone and his men storm into one of the warehouses. He owns along with the docks. There he met a man in a black suit and gray hair.

"You, listen up, the longer this goes on, the more the media is gonna crucify me you need to shut down this trial understand me?

"Yes, sir," his attorney replied. Suddenly the warehouse was plunged Into darkness and the sound of arrows being shot down in the air. As the lights flickered on. Al Capone discovered all four of his men including his attorney were now on the ground dead with arrows in them. Al Capone only had a moment to process this before he was knocked out by an unknown force.

Al Capone woke up, hanging upside down from a crane. In front of him stood the hooded vigilante.

"Al Capone, you have failed this town." the Green Archer fires an arrow as it nearly missed Al Capone's face. Hearing him scream in panic.

"You're gonna to testify in that trial. Having Victor Simmons killed. There won't be a second warning." Green Archer fired another arrow that scratched the gangster's cheek. Al Capone grabbed his face in pain. When he looked up again, the vigilante vanished.

(Next morning, Scuttle town docks)

Tintin and Captain Haddock with Detectives Thompson and Thomson were interrogating the gangster about last night.

"Well, it looks like I owe you an apology, Al Capone," said Tintin as he approached Al Capone's table, noticing a hole on it, fingering it. "We come all the way down to your docks, and it turns out, you don't need the police help after all"

"Which is exactly what I've been saying," Al Capone said calmly.

"Yeah." Tintin took out an evidence bag from his pocket with the green metal arrow inside as he took out the arrow. "Well, you know, I'd be very much inclined to believe an well, one of my friends found this at your dock." Al Capone stayed calm as Tintin neared him. "You see, there's this vigilante running around. He thinks he's some kind of Robin Hood or Hero. I don't know but the point is, he's a criminal killer. But nothing and no one stops me from bringing him down. He may have saved lives but he is a vigilante." Tintin placed the arrow in the hole where it fits perfectly. "But as you said, clearly, nothing happened here last night." Tintin smiled at Al Capone.

Al Capone returned anger to Tintin, his enemy. "Isn't this a conflict of interest, Mr. Tintin? After all your friend Thomas Lance is suing me"

"I'm pretty good at keeping my emotions in chat for a while."

Al Capone stood up his feet, sneering at his enemy with rage. "I'm not. You and your friend don't want to find out what I'm capable of when I get emotional."

Tintin scoffed at him "this isn't over you'll be arrested the moment I'll come back here" before he and his friends turn and leave.

Meanwhile, Shantae was patrolling around town hoping no crimes had happened. But so far it is peaceful and quiet.

Shantae doesn't like the sound of that. She needs to check every street alley, every corner just in case of any activities.

Suddenly the phone in her pocket that the Green Archer gave her started to ring. Shantae took the phone out of her pocket and answered it.

"Shantae here"

"Hello, Shantae sorry about yesterday because I was in a hurry," said Green Archer on the phone.

"Don't worry about it, I get that a lot"

Green Archer gets down to business. "Anyhow the reason why I call you is that I need your help."

"You need my help? For what?" Shantae asked as she walked past across the street.

"A man called Al Capone. it's not going to confess in court about the truth of Victor Simmons that he murdered. And something's telling me he's planning to escape this town. I need you to meet me at his warehouse near the docks, night time bring your friends if you have to."

"My friends will probably sleep at night. But for me, no, I'll meet you there" Shantae hung up as she placed the phone back into her pocket before continuing patrolling.

(Al Capone's warehouse)

A woman with white hair and two long swords attached at her hips approached the gangster. She wore a black suit.

"Thank you for coming"

"You're an important part of our plan. Of course, we'll see you. What is it?" The woman responded

"This vigilante, he's coming for me. You need to take him seriously. He is a bigger threat than your operation then Simmons and that Genie chick ever was"

"Except now it's Simmons' son that is the problem that out and unlike your friend in the hood we know, where to find him."

"Don't be an idiot," Al Capone snapped. "You kill Carl Simmons and Shantae or Thomas Lance will never let this go. Both of them won't stop till they burns you, me and your entire operation to the ground"

"Then we kill the genie hero"

(Shantae's lighthouse)

Shantae returned home, she sat down on the couch after she was done patrolling. She didn't find any criminal activity because crime is too hard to find but she's not going to give up. She'll have to try tomorrow.

Then there was a knock on her door. Cautionary she approaches it, opening it revealing to be Joseph.

"Hello again. Joseph"

"Hey again Shantae I thought about your offer and I've decided I'll live with you"

"Really?" Shantae asked in surprise.

"Yeah, you do have a point earlier you said if I stay out there longer I'll get sick or get the flu may be both and you're right I don't want to get sick"

"Sick and flu are both the same thing you know,"

"Just saying, but before I live with you we need to get to know each other first I was hoping to make it up to you by taking you to lunch," Joseph proposed. Shantae looked at him in disbelief.

"You want to take me to lunch?"

"Yes. It would make me feel so much better. Don't you agree"

"But aren't you homeless?"

"I am, but the Green Archer gave me some gold coins just in case if I want to buy some food" Joseph replied but that part was a lie that the Green Archer is him and the gold coins, he mentioned, he stole it from criminals. "So what do you say?"

Shantae thought about it, she never expected anyone to ask her to take her for lunch as a date. Yet Joseph was the first person who said this to her. However, she is going to be busy around the night by helping the Vigilante Archer.

Shantae then decided "tempting about the lunch Joseph. But maybe later I have a call from the Archer. He says that I need to meet him at the Docks tonight"

"Okay sounds simple enough not going to force you or anything," Joseph said sarcastically.

Shantae chuckled. "I know, by the way, do you want to come inside?"

"Sure" Joseph steps into the lighthouse as he looks around " wow, this is someplace you got here"

"It sure is, " Shantae closed the door. "When I first came in here I start to like this house and name it as my home"

"That's good for you but unfortunately for me" Joseph fat down on her couch "I have no home because the landlord or the bank took it away. But I'm guessing you know that"

"Yes," Shantae sat down next to him. "But you can't blame them forever you know"

"True, I'm not sure," Joseph said honestly. " the truth is, I never became homeless my tire life after I left that Island. I was suspecting a welcome back party for a missing person but no, some people have reasons."

"Can you really blame them too? for not welcoming you back home?"

Joseph shook his head. "I'm not sure anymore but no, if people don't want to notice me or heard of me then I might as well leave them be"

"I have to disagree on that, some people will notice you and heard of you like for a sample my friends and the police"

"Okay, that's true but I don't mean like that, I mean I want people to realize that-" Joseph heard the door was being picked from outside of the lighthouse. He slowly stood up from the couch and took out a pocket knife from his pocket.

"Joseph was wrong?" Shantae asked confused

"Someone's trying to pick your lock, come on! " Joseph grabbed Shantae's hand and pulled her towards the back door. Just as they were about to reach it, the front and back door was smashed open and four armed men barged in.

They begin to run through the lighthouse when a fifth man jumping through the window, followed by their leader a woman. They spun around and discovered a man aiming a gun right behind. Just as he was going to fire. Bolo ran into the room and attacked the attackers with his flail. He took care of all of them except for the woman, who lunged at him with her sword. However, Joseph threw the pocket knife he held and knocked the sword out of the woman's hand.

The woman decided to call it quits. She dove the side and sprinted out of the lighthouse.

"Shantae, Joseph are you both hurt?" Bolo asked in worry.

"We're fine Bolo" Shantae replied.

"I can see why you have a friend for him," said Joseph.

Half an hour later Shantae's lighthouse was swarming with police, taking away the attackers and searching for evidence. Shantae's uncle Mimic burst into the room and ran up to his niece and hugged her.

"Thank goodness are you, all right? Shantae"

"I'm fine, uncle," Shantae says

"Shantae," Joseph goes to her. "There's something I need to take care of. I'll be back"

"What are you going to do?" Shantae asked.

Joseph looked around making sure no police officers were listening or looking around at him. Before he turned back to the genie hero "Keep this a secret" he went over to her ear to whisper, lied. "I work with the Green Archer" he then back away.

"You work for him?" Shantae asked in shock and disbelief.

"Yes, and I need you to keep this a secret, he called me and told me that he needs my help."

"I'm not even sure if I'm going to keep this a secret," Shantae says

"You can tell one of your friends. If you want to like Bolo over there so you and him have a little private conversation"

"I'll think about it and when you come back, me and you are going to have a chat of working for a vigilante"

"Why are you jealous? That I'm working for him instead of you?"

"Jealous?" Shantae blushes in embarrassingly "no, I'm not jealous you're working with I'm-I'm ust want to make sure that he doesn't shoot you with an arrow"

"Now why would you believe that?, as I will recall he didn't shoot you with an arrow when you first met him. He's no threat just want to protect the people of this town"

Shantae sighed. She admitted that he has a point that Green Archer has never wanted to attack her when he first saw her or innocent people. Only criminals and bad guys depend on what he kills or spares.

"Okay that's true, but that doesn't mean I trust him."

"Then I rest my case" just before Joseph could walk out of the lighthouse.

"Hey, Joseph" Bolo said to get his attention." Thank you"

"What for?" Joseph asked

"That pocket knife of yours. If you haven't thrown it, I could've lost my arm or my fingers."

"Oh yeah that let's just say I'm good with my aim"

"Yeah, you throw it when accuracy across a ten feet room"

"Maybe that's lucky of my account if I have one, now if you'll excuse me. I need to go somewhere" Joseph continued to walk.

Later that night, Joseph was suiting up for another night of vigilantism.

'I wanted to give Al Capone a chance to confess and face a court's justice, but he chose to go after the town's protector instead. She is still going to face Justice. It'll just be a different kind.'

(Near at the Docks)

The half-genie hero was waiting patiently for the Green Archer to show up. It's been around some minutes since she got here. Not to mention hours ago around morning. She gave her statement to the police.

"Good, you made it" the Green Archer walked up behind her as Shantae turned around to see him.

"So do you mind telling me what's going on?" Shantae asked.

"As I told you before Al Capone is planning to escape this town. Away from his court justice. That's why I need you to help me, capture him, prevent his escape from happening. Once we do capture him. I'm going to have a 'little chat' with him"

"How are you going to do that?" said Shantae

"You'll see, anyway, follow me. We are going to deal with some of his guys" Green Archer says. "Try not to get killed"

"I won't, but just as you know I don't kill humans" Shantae replied. "and if we're going to work together. Promise me that you won't kill Al Capone."

"I wasn't planning to kill him." Green Archer responded. "True, He committed so many crimes that the list goes on and on. But I'm not going to kill him. He needs to face justice, you should know this by now."

Shantae didn't think about that. "Oh well... I'm just checking to make sure you weren't planning to kill him."

"Well you should have thought about it, now let's go the more time, we waste he'll escape" the Green Archer starts to walk towards the Docks.

"Right" Shantae followed him.

(Al Capone's Warehouse)

"That woman screwed up the hit on Shantae" Al Capone was desperately stacking gold coins into a briefcase. "Now, the black hand is gonna erase every ounce of evidence of their smuggling weapon operation, including me except that's not going to happen." He closed up the case and looked up to his man. "Tell Willis to get the boat ready. I'm leaving tonight, "

"Willis?" He paused waiting for Willie's to respond. "Willis, do you copy?" He tried but Willis didn't reply.

"Willis it's in here, but I am." A mysterious voice said on the radio.

Al Capone paled, instantly recognizing the voice from the other night.

"Oh crap! We need to move!" Al Capone shouted as he raced to the door.

"Sir, we have ten guys out there," his henchmen followed him.

"It's not enough, move it!"

(Tintin and Captain Haddock's office)

Tintin was enjoying quality free time, by looking at the newspaper until it was interrupted by his phone ringing on his desk.

Tintin placed the newspaper aside, picked up the phone and answered. "Hello?"

"Sir, sorry to interrupt you. But we got a report of gunfire happening around Al Capone's imports," the police officer said on the phone.

"I'll be right there," Tintin hung up, grabbed his trench coat and ran out of his office.

The Green Archer fired an arrow at one of the criminals before he jumped over the railing of the walkway, and descended down before he fired another arrow at another criminal above. The Archer jumped down again as another criminal was shot at him around the corner before another guard was shot down with an arrow.

Shantae was on the ground knocking down some criminals left and right using her fits and kicks and her hair whip.

The Green Archer rushed downstairs of the crane, fired two arrows at two criminals before he saw Al Capone running into a cargo bay building.

"Al Capone!" The Green Archer jumped down and chased after him.

Shantae took down the last remaining criminals with an air kick. Before she noticed the Archer vigilante was chasing down his target into a building. "Wait for me!" She follows him.

As Al Capone ran passed a large wooden crate. The Green Archer caught up to him. He fired an arrow, to pinning Al Capone into the crate.

"Oh God please!" Al Capone cried out.

The Green Archer notched another arrow on to his bow. "He cannot help you, I want the truth about Victor Simmons." He fired the arrow pinned the gangster's right shoulder onto the crate.

"I can't" Al Capone exclaimed "the black hand they'll kill me"

"The black hand is not your concern right now!" The Green Archer snarled keep fired an arrow below has foot.

"What are you doing?!" Shantae yelled. She ran up to The Green Archer when she saw most of the whole thing.

"Getting some answers as I said to you before I'm not going to kill him." The Green Archer fired a third are well below the gangster's crotch.

"Alright, alright! it wasn't me that killed him, it was the Black Hand!" Al Capone admitted.

"Acting on whose instructions?" The Green Archer demanded. Al Capone didn't reply. The Archer fired another arrow right above the gangster's head. "Whose?!"

"Alright, it was me!" Al Capone confessed, "it was me, okay, Simmons said he was gonna testify against me."

"Green Archer, I hate to interrupt your little interrogation but we have company" the genie hero pointed.

The Green Archer looked at what she's referring to and she was right it was the same woman that tried to kill him and Shantae, who has appeared behind them.

"Move away from him" the woman ordered

"Why don't you come over here and make us" Shantae replied.

The woman drew out both swords and began fighting against the Archer and the Genie. Shantae tried to hit her with a direct attack but the woman dodge and kicked Shantae around her exposed belly.

The woman attacked Green Archer with her sword. But Green Archer managed to block with his bow before he punched her straight to her face and kicked her side back sending her on the ground.

The woman got up and tossed one of her swords at the Green Archer who managed to block it with his bow only he received a heavy kick in his stomach from the woman as she knocked him down across his side.

Shantae managed to punch the woman across her face. Before giving her a jump kick across the back of the woman's head sending her back to the ground.

The woman couldn't believe it, she let her guard down. She accidentally forgot Shantae was still here.

The woman got up, so did the Green Archer before they continued their strike at each other. They heard police sirens approaching the building.

"This is the police, drop your weapons we have the whole area surrounded! I repeat lay down your weapons or else we will open fire!" one of the police officers ordered over a microphone.

"Next time" the woman left and made her escape.

"You go, I'll go after her!" Shantae chases after the woman.

The Green Archer didn't want to be told twice, he picked up the samurai sword that the woman tossed at him and made his escape but in a different route. He jumped off a shipping container. Just as he was going to run away Detective Tintin came around the corner and held up a gun to him.

"Freeze!" He ordered the Green Archer stop. " now don't take this the wrong way. Just because you save people doesn't mean I'm going to stop chasing after you. Bow and sword down, hands up"

The Green Archer slowly raised up his hands but he wasn't surrendering himself. He grabbed and threw a flechette, disarming Tintin's weapon away from his hands and wedged itself into the shipping container behind him. Tintin looked up and noticed that the Green Archer managed to escape.

"He got away" Tintin looks back at the flechette noticing it has a green flashing light and a button on its side. "What's this?" Tintin presses the button and he was shocked to hear a recording of Al Capone confession.

"Unbelievable, he got the evidence..." Tintin whispered.

"Great, she's gone," Shantae says in frustration. She is standing on the rooftop away from the dock. The woman that the Genie hero was chasing after was gone.

She was so close to capturing her and found out what she knew. But too late.

She took out the phone and called the Green Archer.

"Hello"

"Sorry for disturbing your getaway escape but the woman from the Black Hand or whatever got away. before I have the chance to grab her and interrogate her."

"Damn,"

"So what now?"

"I do not know. But she left her sword at the crime scene I managed to take it and it may have left some of her fingerprints on it, so maybe I'll be able to identify her but it may take time,"

Shantae went silent for a moment. She was about to question him of why he would steal evidence from a crime scene but she needs information about who's the woman. That she and him fought against "Give me a name, once you do that"

"Okay"

Shantae hung up and headed towards her lighthouse.

When Shantae entered her home, a memory of hers began to hit her head. She remembers how the Green Archer throws that flechette to kill Jock and the same thing. Joseph threw his pocket knife to disarm the woman's sword almost killing Bolo. When the pieces fell together. Shantae realizes that Joseph is the Green Archer.

'Of course, when Joseph said that he's working for the Green Archer. He meant himself.' Shantae rubs her forehead meaning she didn't see that coming. "I should have known, the moment I first saw him. I thought he was homeless but no, he is vigilante undercover or both"

Some minutes later, Shantae just came out of the bathroom with a red robe, her hair wet from the water tub, she paused. "I'd ask how did you get here or is it you use the window, but the Scuttle town vigilante comes and goes wherever he pleases, doesn't he?"

Across the room. Joseph came out of the shadows with his hands crossed behind his back.

"How did you know? what gave me away?"

"Well for a sample I saw you throw your pocket knife to save Bolo again and the same thing you killed Jock with your dart. And how did I know you got in here? I use my magic to send out a pulse if any humans come near or inside my lighthouse so I sense your presence" Shantae explained. "That Island change to you in the ways that someone could understand"

"Maybe." Joseph admitted. "But I didn't change. The island showed me my true self. And how to serve justice to those who are poisoning in this town"

"I hate to break it to you but some people aren't poisoning this town. Well most of them are, but not all of them. So tell me Joseph" Shantae went over to him "where you were going to tell me? before you trust me?"

Joseph nodded. "Yes, because you're the only person who is safe in this town and I was going to keep it as a surprise"

"That's nice of you" Shantae replied "but why didn't you told me in the first place?"

"If I'd would've told you the first time you met me would you believe me?"

"No, but maybe"

"Exactly, Shantae" Joseph placed his left hand on her shoulder. "We all have our secrets that we need to keep and it's not ready to be with filled to their friends and loved ones I know this from a reason"

"I know but" Shantae looks at him directly at his eyes. "Shouldn't you tell my friends who you are?"

Joseph shook his head. "No, they're not ready to know yet. Shantae we just have to wait until time run its course then I'll tell them patience is a virtue"

"I know sorry got a little carried away."

Joseph sighed for he took his hand off her shoulder. "Well if you need me I'll be going somewhere else" he started to walk towards the door.

"Wait" Shantae grabbed his hand to stop him as Joseph turned back to look at her. "You can still stay here if you want to, and you did say that you're going to live with me right?"

"Oh yeah, I forgot that," said Joseph accidentally almost forgot that he accepted Genie's offer.

"Oh, and one last thing" Shantae pulled him close and kissed him on the lips. Before she pulled out. "That date that you mention to me, I accept"

Joseph was surprised that Shantae kissed him. That was his first kiss stolen by a half-genie. But he was glad to have a kiss from her. And happy that she has accepted a date with him.

"Thank you, we'll start tomorrow for our first date," said Joseph "what do you like, prefer dinner or lunch?"

"Maybe lunch" Shantae replied. "Or dinner tempting I'll think about it"
