Luxord was in his room, brooding about what had recently happened to him. He had issued a challenge to someone, mocked them, and in the end he had lost this gamble. Finding himself in a dress, had been downright humiliating However at the time they had been far overconfident in what would appear a clear victory. Wrapped around his neck currently was a rather large, obnoxious bow tie of sorts. He was sitting with his knees under his chin, while his arms were wrapped around them. A sudden knock at his door, broke him of his thoughts at the moment.
"Hey mind if I come in? " Invader chimed from the doorway.
"What choice do I have?" Luxord sighed. "I am at your command after all."
Invader opened the door to find Luxord with his back towards it. A state of gloom hung above them, like an oppressive cloud. He was sitting in the middle of his bed, his shoulders slumped, his head hanging limply. They looked to be in a rather dejected state, and had refused to come out for many hours now.
"Come to torment me further?" He mused dejectedly.
"Not at all, I came to apologize a bit." Invader spoke softly.
"What for?" Luxord intoned.
"I was not expecting to have you get hurt like that, it was not part of my plan at all." Invader consoled.
"I was not expecting that." He replied not moving.
Invader walked over, taking the bow tie of him, and she decided to hug them one. He was rather stiff at first, but allowed this for the time being. After a few moments, he did start to relax a little, this was almost comforting. Despite her small size, she could bear hug you if she wanted to. He was expecting that, but was slightly relieved that she chose not to.
"That was quite a gamble, rather impressive." She spoke.
"I was a fool to even consider taking it." Luxord retorted.
"I will say this, I will never again, do something like this to you." Invader offered.
"Well then, if that is the case, I won't ever ask you to play poker again." Luxord almost chuckled.
"Is that a smile I see?" She teased.
"No there are invisible strings pulling my mouth outward and upwards." Luxord shot back.
"So are you going to come down to dinner, or do you wish to eat here alone?" Invader questioned.
"I will only go if Marluxia and Xigbar are not present." He glowered.
"How about we have dinner here instead." invader offered. "Do you have anything in particular you like?"
"How do I know either one of them have not purposely set me up?" He fumed.
"I take it you don't quite trust me at all?" Invader mused.
"After what happened to me I have resigned to be a bit more cautious." Luxord answered.
"I take it , things are not in the cards?" Invader jokes.
Luxord broke away from the hug, wondering if she had done that on purpose. They just had to jab at them, when they were least expecting it. This remark had been made in a playful manner, and they smiled a bit more.
"Well if you insist, I suppose I could read your future." He laughed.
He had to admit, this was slightly amusing and lifted his spirits a little. With a dramatic flourish he summoned his cards, and fanned them out.
"According to the cars we are 88% compatible." He revealed.
"Friendship wise I would be thrilled." Invader laughed. "Honestly friendship is all I am after."
"I see." Luxord trailed off.
"You are not trying to flirt with me are you?" Invader hissed. "Because if you are."
"No, no, not at all." Luxord yelped.
Demyx walked by, noticing the door was open and stuck his head in.
"Hey it is pizza night, want to join us?" He called.
"So will there be shrimp on it, cause I am looking at one." Invader poked.
"Hey!, you are the shrimp here." Demyx shot back.
"Well to be honest you are more of a chicken." Luxord joined in.
"No fair, two aganst one." Demyx pouted.
"Relax dopefish, you are too nice to eat." Invader reassured.
"I don't quite trust you , not after that prank in Vexen's lab" Demyx retorted.
"Pray tell me what that was about?" Luxord mused.
"The superior has banned me from making any cannibalistic pranks, and eating other members." Invader explained.
"What else are you banned from?" He asked slightly concerned.
"That would be shrink wrap, bubble wrap, and surprisingly black paint." Invader revealed.
"She scared me, and I short circuited the generator." Demyx laughed.
"How clever of them." Luxord mused, stroking his chin. "Pray tell me why you did not inform me of what they are capable of?"
"Well...umm..err." Demyx stammered. "I forgot."
" I can't have all my secrets revealed now can I?" Invader hinted.
"Just so you know Xigbar and Marluxia are away for some time." Demyx mused.
"Well what are we waiting for, lead the way Luxord." Invader ordered.
"Woah what did she do to you?" Demyx questioned.
"I lost a gamble, plain and simple." Luxord replied.
"Oh, that was why Xiggy was so mad, and so was Larxene." Demyx shuddered.
The trio walked downstairs to the lounge where Axel , Roxas, and Xion were sitting.
"Hey lord gloom has come to join us at last." Axel poked.
"Be nice, he is already flustered as is." Invader ordered.
"So luxord why were you wearing a dress?" Xion questioned.
"That was the result of a joke, nothing more, nothing less." Luxord answered them.
"A dress?!" Demyx laughed. "I missed that."
"So do you want to be put in one?" Invader threatened.
"N..no." Demyx yelped.
"Come on I am sure you would look pretty." Roxas spoke up.
"Where did you get that?" Axel gulped.
"Am I not allowed to tease him?" Roxas huffed.
"Not like that buddy." Axel gently corrected.
"Fine." Roxas grumbled.
"Does someone need a nap?" Luxord mused.
"I am not five years old." Roxas grumbled.
"Technically you are still a kid." Axel mused.
At that moment, Vexen walked in with a pizza and set it down on the nearby coffee table. They then retreated to the lab, to catch up on some experiments that had been put on hold.
"So who gets to fight over the first slice:" invader cackled.
"Hey I am not about to get in a scuffle." Demyx protested.
"Luxord, how about we draw cards to see who gets the first slice." Invader offered.
"Very well, if you insist." Luxored grinned.
"Nope not going to fall for that again." Axel protested crossing his arms.
"We are gonna use just regular old playing cards." Invader reassured them.
Luxord was not amused, but said nothing as he was under orders. They were a bit disappointed that they were not allowed to draw cards. Roxas and Xion got to go first, followed by Demyx, Axel and Invader. Luxord was wondering what was going to happen when Invader beckoned them to the kitchen. Once inside he realized they were going to sit at the kids' table with Roxas and Xion.
"No , I refuse to humiliate myself in this manner." Luxord protested.
"Relax the chairs are super comfy, and we play fun games." Invader coaxed.
"Again no." Luxord said, crossing his arms.
"You are under my command right?" Invader hinted.
"Come on, it is fun." Xion begged tugging on his arm.
"Really it is." Roxas called shoving him one.
"I order you to." Invader commanded.
"Very well, I might partake in this game." Luxord intoned softly.
"First a hug war." Xion called, happily,.
Xion and Roxas ganged up on Invader, sending her to the floor, while Luxord looked on. Demyx decided to sneak up and hug him,he was a bit taken aback but did nothing. After five minutes Roxas and Xion were declared the winners. Axel ceremoniously placed a crown on their heads and led them to the biggest chairs. Invader willingly had a fool's cap on, making Luxored laugh one.
"So what chair do I have to sit in?" Questioned Luxord.
"That would be the guest chair." Axel intoned.
Looking around he noticed it was bright blue with a cloud print all over it. Upon sitting down it was very comfortable, perhaps this won't be too bad.
"So what are you planning to do to me exactly?" Luxored mused worried.
"Fun things." Was the reply, making him turn a bit pale.
"Have some mercy." Luxord squeaked.
"Well for starters, we are going to an arcade, out to lunch, you know fun things." Invader laughed.
"Oh.." Luxored trailed off.
"Where exactly did your mind go?" Axel giggled.
"Just lost in thought." Demyx spoke up.
"Well not exactly, but thanks for the kind thoughts." Luxord replied smiling.
"So movie night?" Axel called changing the subject.
"Why not?" Demyx cheered. "As long as it is not scary."
With that he left the room Xion and Roxas followed him.
"However Luxord has been banned from card games the rest of the night." Invader shouted.
"How could you!" Cried Luxord.
"Well if you had not been so insistent on things." Invader retorted.
"You do have a point, but pray tell me those signs are gone right?" Luxord puted.
"What signs?" Invader said, confused.
"The one on my door that said, princess." Luxord face palmed.
"No idea who put that there, but it was not me." Invader spoke.
"So will you kill them for me?" Luxord glowered.
"Why kill when you can maim them and they live." Invader cackled.
"I still want revenge." Luxord insisted.
"I can take care of that for a price." Invader hinted. "As well as some help."
At that moment Xigbar walked in drunk, and that gave Invader a few ideas. Silently they guided him to the guest room, and picked out a dress, daring them to wear it.
"I doubt that will work." Luxord chuckled.
"Hey you never know." Axel intoned.
At that moment Xigbar walked in while wearing a very frilly dress, while Invader put a crown on them. Luxord was amused and was quite happy to have such a good turnabout. He soon forgot his troubles, and spent the rest of the night in a better mood.
The end.
