"Senpai?" Mash looked to Fujimaru.
"That thing in the sky, what is it?" Fujimaru looked up to the sky to see the structure.
"It's a castle, we're detecting servants inside and at least one master," Da Vinci reported.
Fujimaru shivered again, it was getting colder and colder by the minute. At that rate, Paris would be completely frozen. Mash and Fujimaru headed to the nearest building to seek shelter while Da Vinci examined the area. The two kept blankets over their clothing to hide that they weren't from the area and waited for the examination to be completed. Mash leaned on Fujimaru, she was tired, they just got done with the last lostbelt and didn't a wink of sleep before heading to the next.
Fujimaru woke up to a loud rumble. Black feathers were falling on the ground and when they hit the, monsters rose from below. Fujimaru and Mash immediately got up and began to engage the monsters. The two were surrounded by an onslaught of monsters, until someone came to aid them. Charlemagne shot multiple swords of blue and black at the monsters, and with a smile on his face, he took out the monsters within range. Nero was not too far behind him and took out monsters in her way as well.
"Charles!" Nero ran to smack Charlemagne on the head. "Why did you run off like that?!"
"They needed help!" Charlemagne exclaimed, rubbing his head.
"You two must be the ones sent by Chaldea," Arjuna greeted Fujimaru and Mash. "I am Arjuna, the leader of this group."
"Ritsuka Fujimaru, and this is Mash." Fujimaru gestured to Mash who bowed.
"It's cold out, we have a place to discuss our plans."
Arjuna took Fujimaru and Mash to Master Fu's house, who was surprised to see two new people. Fujimaru was a master and Mash was his servant, a shielder specifically. Arjuna also introduced the two to Ladybug and Chat Noir, heroes of Paris who were known for fighting super villains.
"Miss, I found them." A man with a black jacket over his shoulders said.
"Good," the black mage told the group. "Eliminate them."
"I'm on it." He smashed the windows open and threw daggers at Arjuna.
"Arjuna!" Nero deflected the dagger and took a good look at the attacker. "Jekyll? You too?"
"Calm down! Focus on fighting him!" Arjuna summoned his arrow and shot it at Jekyll, who dodge it the fled outside.
Arjuna followed Jekyll outside with the others right behind him. Ladybug and Chat Noir looked to Master Fu, he nodded, they needed to see just what was going on. Arjuna and Jekyll were fighting one on one, one was a long-distance fighter, the other a close-up fighter, neither were able to touch the other. Nero stepped in with Arthur by her side to send Jekyll into the shadows.
Tamamo warned them not to let down their guard. She saw Jekyll as he removed his glasses, becoming Hyde. If he couldn't take them down as Jekyll, he would take them down as Hyde. Hyde slammed daggers down on the two saber servants to send them back, he was stronger than before. But even with his strength, he was outnumbered, and was forced to retreat.
If what Arjuna thought was true, it meant that there were more on the opposing side than they initially thought. First, they needed a base of operations, and an old man's home was not suited for them. Adrien offered to his house, it was big enough for them and was secured against threats. Nero was impressed at how big Adrien's house was, it reminded her of the palace she created when she was alive, just, less sparkly. Tamamo took a good look at all the shiny things and Charlemagne was being held still by Arjuna so he couldn't break anything.
Mash placed her shield on the ground of Adrien's room and an image appeared. It was Da Vinci; she had a message to relay to the group. Multiple servants were present on the surface, all looking for the same thing: an object that could grant wishes. Ladybug took a second to think, then finally told the servants. There wasn't just one object, there were two. In technically, two that needed to be combined into one. The ladybug earrings and the black cat ring. When combined, they could grant the user any wish.
"These jewels, they have powers like the Grail." Fujimaru said, "that's hard to believe."
"Senpai, there's someone here," Mash raised her shield pointed at the window.
"Archimedes?" Nero recognized him immediately. "You were on our side in London! What changed your mind?!"
"Research has told me that these, what are they called? Oh right, Miraculous, hold special powers. And you just said they did, so confirmation. Master needs these powers to rewrite history, so I'm here to fetch them for him." Archimedes sighed.
"Who is your master?" Chat Noir demanded Archimedes to tell him.
"I don't know who you are and you don't look like a servant to me. Whatever, hand over the jewels and we won't have any problems." When he didn't get an answer from the superheroes, he shrugged. "You had your chance."
Archimedes jumped from the window to the snowy ground. He wasn't a fighter himself, so there was someone he was backing up close by. The storm got worse and snow entered the house, from it, rose a woman with a white veil and multicolored sword: Altera. Charlemagne took her on so that the others could track down Archimedes and take him out before he caused more trouble than needed.
Outside, the group were split up to find Archimedes. Chat Noir grabbed Ladybug's arm, he pulled her aside and told her that they shouldn't have gotten involved in that, she responded that it was their duty as superheroes to protect Paris. They had fought super villains before, so servants weren't too hard, or so they thought. From behind them, a gun clicked and fired right by their feet. Francis Drake stood with her guns pointed right at them. Altera and Archimedes were distractions so that Francis could show up and take the spotlight.
Their communication was surprisingly fast, in the span of ten minutes, they learned what they needed to get, where to find it and sent servants to get it. The superheroes fought Francis, but she was out of their league. She wasn't a super villain, there was no akuma to catch to stop her fighting, and with the others split up in such a harsh storm, there was no way of getting help. Francis, with support from Archimedes, got the upper hand against the two superheroes and both were thrown into the snow.
"All this trouble for jewels? Master must be daydreaming if these things can be just as powerful as the Holy Grail." Francis picked up Ladybug and took the earrings from her. Chat Noir got up to fight against the servant but was halted by Archimedes who covered his mouth before his Cataclysm was activated and Francis took the ring from him.
The servants jumped back and turned to spirit form to return to their home base. Marinette and Adrien kept their eyes covered to not see each other's identities, but it was cold, too cold for normal humans to survive for long. That was when Charlemagne found them, he picked them both up and returned to Adrien's home to set them next to the fire to warm them up.
