Severa suddenly forgot about her lovesick heart for a moment. Robin was going to sea for a load of Pegasus shit like this?!
"Wait, you're going about a Plegian ship, with a load of Iron Ore and well Plegians on it? Robin they'll kill you."
"One it's the pride of the Plegian side, two it's just finished up with some steel mills of Chon'sin, three you know Aversa swore her loyalty to me after she regained her memories."
"That may be, oh brilliant tactician and I like Aversa fine. But you're still not exactly well-liked amongst the Grimleal, which as you are no doubt aware still exist as lunatics are wont to do. Let me come with you. Keep an eye out on Ylisse's brain."
"You make it seem like Chrom is a buffoon."
Severa gave Robin a look of mild annoyance. Gawds, she wanted to punch him sometimes. And drag him off to make out in an abandoned dining room in the castle.
"Just be careful. Okay Robin?"
"I'm bringing a sword, and some fire magic to display the effect of it on charmed iron to the crew. I will be careful though it is explosive. I was planning on stopping by here after I ate to tell Cordelia I will not be needing to ride a Pegasus. Chrom and Lucina insisted.
"Just those two?"
"Well no, Chrom, Queen Olivia, Lucina, Lissa, Sumia Frederick, Maribelle, and Aversa have insisted that I should travel in a covered wagon and bring some Ylissean foods for goodwill towards the sailors since Aversa can't come because she is sick. They're supposedly a very superstitious bunch."
Severa could just scream, superstitious sailors, a lightly armed Robin, and lack of direct oversight from Aversa due to illness. It all screamed ambush to her, why couldn't Robin of all the sodding people in the sodding world (she noted wryly that the couples she mentioned earlier probably were engaging in sodomy) see that?
"When are you leaving Robin?"
"Oh, in another couple of hours. Vaike, Gaius, and Virion are loading the wagon as we speak."
"I see, well good luck handsome. I'm going to my room to knit" Severa winked as she left the office heading to her room to write her mother a note about her plans.
"Handsome?"
"Robin! How nice to see you."
Cordelia had entered the office and gave Robin a quick hug.
"I thought you said you'd have lunch before we discussed your flight plans."
"I was going to but then I saw Severa looked upset about something so I came to check on her."
"I see…did you get my daughter sorted out?"
"As best I could yeah, she's in her room knitting right now."
Cordelia nodded attentively, knowing knitting was Severa's code word for leaving a note for her.
"Well, what about your pegasus for riding, want to go down to the stalls?"
Robin explained his change in travel plans are Cordelia could not help but laugh at the extensive list of opinions that had been given to change Robin's mind.
"So you're leaving in two hours instead of five?"
"Yep, not a minute later Cordy."
"Plegians do not much like tardiness so, good for you being smart. Well, thank you for notifying me that I can put Zenyatta back with the others. Before I go do that though what was Sevvy sad about?"
"Oh, she's just a little lonely with the rush of weddings."
Cordelia nodded. As obvious as her crush on Chrom was to her daughter so too was Severa's crush on Robin though each would die of embarrassment if they knew that the other was aware of their deepest secret.
"Bye Cordy, I'm going to go pack."
"Au revoir Mousier Tactician."
…
Severa had barely finished scribbling a note to her mom saying she was going to accompany Robin as a "vitally necessary bodyguard" when she assembled her bag. It was waterproofed, had a weeks' worth of smallclothes, soaps, shampoo, and other toiletries, as well as two spare outfits, a book on Plegian maritime creatures she had grabbed from the library on the way up to her room, and a basic housekeeping magic tome which she knew Robin could use. She also grabbed a cloak which she would use to conceal herself in the shipment of goodies as well as conceal her Killing Edge while walking around the castle. Now for the tricky part of the operation.
"Cynthia, hey Cynthia!" She knocked on Inigo's door impatiently after making the journey down three flights of stairs, knowing that her younger friend could not bear be away from her lover for two whole minutes.
"C-come in!"
Severa entered the room to find Cynthia, rosy cheeked with a book in her lap and Inigo next to her trying to look inconspicuous as he wiped his hand on his breeches, a light stain forming. Combined with the purple panties in a wad next to Inigo's guilty hand and where Cynthia had the book it was obvious Inigo had been fingering her. Ignoring the laments of her mind about Robin doing the same to her and feigning ignorance Severa sprung into action.
"There's a little piggy they're meaning to slaughter and roast for Lucina's festivities! Won't you help me get the little one free?"
Severa knew if there was one thing Cynthia liked more than being with Inigo it was playing the hero, especially if baby animals or innocent people were involved.
"They will do no such thing! I know where they keep the keys to the barns, follow me. The guards won't stop me."
Cynthia blew past Severa out of the room, with the result of her skirt flourishing being that Severa saw her bare ass for a moment, and they headed towards the supply rooms. With a sly knowing look at Inigo Severa turned around, knowing he couldn't have missed the opportunity to look up Cynthia's skirt, the perv.
"Listen here Pretty Boy. If you're just intending on bedding Cynthia and dumping her. This sword" Severa revealed her Killing Edge momentarily before continuing.
"This sword will be used to gut you like the swine we are rescuing is. Got IT!"
Inigo nodded, knowing Severa was beyond his powers of getting out of trouble.
"Good talk Inigo, I knew you could make smart decisions."
With that she left the terrified prince alone in his bed chambers.
