Chapter 2: universe 0
The world that showed up was barren. Devoid of life. Arcanus appeared in a ball of light. In a Chibi-fied version of his form. The god then explained. Gesturing to the ruins of old buildings and dead forests.
"This is universe 0, also known as the barren world. This version of Remnant was like all the others, full of huntsman, kingdoms, dust, aura, and grimm. However, greed, a lust for power, prejudice, and corrupt politicians had caused endless violence. Decades of warfare caused the civilian population to dwindle, because of this the kingdoms soon fell. This set humanity into a new era of barbarism. The wildlife were the second to go as over massive harvesting of resources had caused the planet to go dead. As a result the grimm became much more dangerous. They adapted to the new environment created by man. These grimm were the ones to kill off humanity for good. Soon, the grimm died off too. Leaving the planet dead." Arcanus finished as the deity changed the screen to the next world.
