"Uhhg… I hate detention. Rem, give me something to do. I'm dying over here!" Sirius flailed about before slumping back into his chair.

He pouted for a bit until Remus replied monotonously. "No. This is your own fault. It's a good thing I'm a prefect and told Filch that I was trying to bring you back to the common room. Otherwise I'm pretty sure that he would've given you more detention, and with someone other than myself to watch you. Now shut up, or I will personally give you more detention… with Filch." Remus looked up from his book raising one eyebrow questioning Sirius's decision not to bring even a singular scroll for school work.

"Fiiiine," the black haired animagus grumbled. "Why can't you ever be any fun?" And the pout was back on his lips the moment he stopped speaking. He rested his arms on the table, and his head on his arms. It wasn't against the rules to daydream so he thought that he might as well do something. He shut his silver eyes and drifted off into the land of daydreams and hidden desires.

Sirius opened his eyes in his daydream and saw in front of him the same classroom, with Remus sitting at the front table with his legs on the corner while reading. He looked about and saw that instead of the cabinets that were normally at the back of the room there was a mysterious door. He was about to stand up and investigate, but then realized that as soon as he had looked anywhere but forward Remus began to stare at him blankly.

As he stared back at the tawny haired werewolf he noticed that something happened in this daydream that never happened in real life. Or did it? It confused him greatly that Remus had a bright coral blush upon his pale greyish beige skin. "What an odd imagination I have," he thought and began to blush at the idea of this daydream.

"Siriu-, Sirius, Sirius. Hey! Pay attention. Are you okay?"

Sirius was snapped back into reality as Remus shook him by the shoulder. "Huh? What's up, Moonpie?"

"What's up?! I've been shaking you for the past five minutes. I thought you were out cold or something. Were you daydreaming or sleeping you fool?"

"Daydreaming, Moony. I would never sleep in detention… at least if you or Prongs are in charge."

"Whatever. Detentions over. We're supposed to be in the dorm helping Wormtail with charms about now. You coming?"

"Yeah, yeah. I'm coming. Just give me a second," Sirius mumbled as he bent down and picked up his mostly empty bag. The animagus reached into his bag and took out a chocolate bar while saying, "Have a goddamn chocolate bar, Moons. Why are you so pissed at me? I haven't done anything all day."

"It's nothing, Pads. I'm just tired. The moon was only a couple of days ago. Four to be exact. And with your terrible sneaking skills, even after six whole years of Hogwarts under your belt, I'm surprised that you didn't get caught then! You're so infuriating sometimes, Sirius," Remus replied as he took the chocolate bar. He easily recognized the wrapper even in his frustration. It was his favorite. "Thanks for the chocolate though. It really helps." The werewolf broke off a piece and handed it to Sirius, before taking a bite of it himself.

"Umm… Moons, you okay? You never let anyone have your chocolate, not even Lil's. She's like the only one exempt from your terror when someone takes your stuff. Not even I can escape you," the shorter boy questioned looking up at his best friend.

"Yeah. I'm doing just fine," Remus smiled with a slight blush, "it's nothing really. You remembered my favorite chocolate brand. That's really sweet of you, Sirius."

"Y-yeah. I buy it for you every month though, and I guess it's my favorite now too. I always have a bar on me. Never know when a rampaging Moony will need some," he joked, trying to cover up his stutter. He was so caught up in his own emotions that he didn't notice Remus' blush.

"Oh, whatever. We were having a moment and you ruined it. Wait, now that I think about it, I thought that dogs were allergic to chocolate," the amber eyed boy shoved his friend jokingly.

"Screw you, Moonpie. Just let me have my fun," Sirius said before saying 'Jelly Slugs' to The Fat Lady. "Anyways, now we have to help Wormy with Charms."

"I thought you didn't want to help?" Moony questioned as they walked through the portrait hole.

"I can change my mind," Sirius replied bitterly and crossed his arms walking across the common room. "Plus we have to help, Peter. Let's get up to the dorm."

"Oh, for Merlin's sake, Sirius. Why are you so indignant all of a sudden?" Remus asked as he climbed the stairs and opened the door. "Hey, Pete. Ready to practice some charms?"

Peter, who was sat on the floor playing exploding snap with James, turned to face the two boys in the doorway. His mousy features contorted in an odd way before replying, "Nah. Prongs and Lily helped me." The boy paused for a moment and then continued, "I didn't know Lily was so good at charms. James is good too, better at transfiguration, but not as good as Lily. She's really cool!"

Remus and Sirius chuckled, before the dog animagus said, "Looks like you've got some competition, Jamesie. Wormtail might start pining after Lily like you do."

"Lay off, mate. I got better things to do. Plus, after this match," James waited a moment to finish his turn, and the game, before finishing his sentence, "I have to go meet Lily in the common room. We were gonna hang out here with you guys, if you don't mind?" He stood up, brushed off his slacks, and pushed back his unruly black hair.

"S'fine with us. Right, Rem?" Sirius grinned and turned towards his wolfy friend.

Remus gave Sirius a look, before giving in to the puppy dog eyes from the boy. "Yeah, fine. Do as you please. Just don't be too loud, I would like to read before Padfoot drags me to go make mischief again." At that point Sirius had changed into his dog form and jumped up onto Remus's bed to be pet. James left and Peter went to go get snacks from his chest. The werewolf knew he could never not give in to Sirius, he had a particular soft spot for the animagus. He eventually began to pet the big fluffy dog as he sat and read.

James knocked on the door so that the boys would change back before Lily came in. Sirius morphed back into human form and slung his arm around Remus's shoulders, the werewolf ignored the pureblood boy and kept reading. James and Lily walked in the door laughing and smiling.

Lily looked at Pete and waved before looking for Remus and Sirius. She walked up to Sirius's bed fully expecting him to be lounging on it, but didn't see him so she went to Remus's bed. The redhead peered through the curtains to see the two boys near cuddling while the tawny haired boy read. She grinned before moving to the other side, which was the visible side for James, and threw open the curtains barely containing her laughter.

"Look at you two," James laughed. "Who would've thought Moony had a soft spot for mutts, especially you, Padfoot."

"Why must you be like this, Prongs?" Remus sighed and closed his book. "I was finally getting to read, and have Pads be quiet. You're so obnoxious. How does Lily put up with you."

A/N. And on that note I'm going to end it. I hope you enjoyed. With my current schedule you probably won't get another chapter for another two-ish months. I barely have anytime to just sit and write, so I apologize. I really love this story and I hope you do too. Love you all -VeraDraws~
