Jarceus: Hello and welcome to the second chapter of Freddy's Emporium: Eternal Guard. I hope that you all enjoyed the previous chapter and will enjoy this one, the start of the classic five nights. Now comes a tradition of mine, reading the reviews at the start of the chapter and having characters reply to it.
Review
(New) Kurama The Platinum Zoroark: Please to tell me that the funtimes are not performing around children in this!

Dale: The Funtime animatronics… Those are from Circus Baby's Pizza World, right? Sadly those fall under the 'Circus Baby' franchise despite having versions of two of our characters. Sister location franchises are not counted in the Freddy's Emporium. If they were, we would be much, MUCH, larger than four areas.
Damien: That and I don't think that Jarceus could handle that many animatronics. What with his story plans and what not. Jarceus: Damien… I have now realised my genius in making you immortal… I can kill you repeatedly… And firesage, thank you for the support.
Last Time
"Jeez, when you said the office sucks, you meant it. You said that you had a budget issue? Why is that?" Damien asked as he noticed that there was still some stains on the wall next to him, displaying how… well, low budget and dirty the room was. "You think that running, how many animatronics is it… two… six… twelve… sixteen animatronics, you think that running maintenance on sixteen animatronics is cheap? It is unsurprisingly expensive, alone with the need to buy food, toys, clothes, and all the other stuff… We hardly have enough money to pay you and keep everything going." Dale sighed as he sat down in the chair while holding his head in his hands. Daniel could sympathise with the man somewhat "Say, Dale, what is the uniform like?" Damien asked in an attempt to change the subject, which wasn't lost on Dale, who could only smile softly at the gesture as he nodded and got up
Now
Damien sighed as he tugged on the collar his new uniform, the collared blue shirt of his security uniform being tight on his torso as he walked into his office and sat down in the chair as he checked the clock… 11:53pm… seven minutes until his shift started, so he had time to get himself used to his new room and check things out around the office a bit more. Unlike the last time he was here, a phone was now on the desk, having been set up during the day so that Damien could contact authorities if need be… there also seemed to be some pre-recorded messages on the phone, which upon closer inspection, Damien could smell the heavy use of cleaning product on it… seems like the last guy to use it wasn't in the best of conditions… to put it lightly.
Deciding to risk it, Damien pressed play on the first recording on the phone, making it ring a few times before the voice of a male began to sound through the emporium as a bell began to chime in the office, signalling the start of the night as Damien began to activate his monitors to keep an eye on the animatronics and stores
"Hello? Hey, if you can hear me, I'm a previous employee, a fellow night guard if you will. I'm recording these messages to instruct you on how to survive your nights. I have no idea if I'll survive all of my own nights, but I can guide you. Listen to one of these every night. Ok, getting past that, call me Phone Guy, Guide, or what ever you want. This is your first night, the easiest of them. I'm personally on my second night so I'm seeing a pattern with the nights. First night in, you'll only be faced with Chica and Bonnie from the original Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. Chica will stalk your right hall when she isn't in the kitchen while Bonnie will focus on your left hall. I also took the time to give you a strategic advantage, your tablet that allows you to monitor the status of the cameras is connected to the temperature system. From my experiments it seems promising in some regard. The hotter the emporium is, the shorter you can use the doors as they'll over heat faster and cool down slower, but you have a chance to reset the animatronics while also making them slower due to over heating servos. At the same time, you can cool down the restaurant, allowing the doors to be used longer and cool down faster, sadly this works with the animatronics as well, the cooler environment allowing their serves to work better and faster. It's up to you how you go about things. Now, I'll end this call since we both have to survive, heh. Hopefully I can record for you tomorrow. See ya nightie." The message says in the male voice, slightly changed due to the recording to give it a slight echo as Damien listened to it dutifully, taking in everything that the 'Phone Guy' told him as he checked his monitors, noting that true to the recording, both Bonnie and Chica from the Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria area of the emporium had moved, Chica was now in the central area of the emporium, a large dining room with a dance/party floor while Bonnie had just moved off of the stage that he, Chica and Freddy were on, said Bear was now staring at the camera with black eyes, letting Damien knew that Freddy… Freddy knew… something…
Sadly Damien couldn't dwell on those thoughts of his as the camera on the stage began to glitch out, turning to static as the tablet nearby began to beep, telling Damien that an error had occurred in the camera systems, rendering them useless. Damien quickly restarted them as he wheeled his chair over to the doors, checking the lights on them to see if either of the two actively moving animatronics were nearby, thankfully for him neither of them were, although Damien swore he saw Chica twitching at the end of the right hall before he heard the beep of his cameras restarting once more as the time popped up on the monitors… 12:30am. Half an hour had already passed by since the night started.
"Huh… only half an hour has…" Damien trailed off before he quickly closed the door to his right just as Chica got to the window, having hear a groan come from that direction as he then turned the light on and smirked as he saw an annoyed Chica looking at him through a window in the wall that was… actually not that protective now that Damien notice it wasn't reinforced in anyway… it was just basic glass… "Hey there Chica. How are you this fabulous Monday night? Murderously happy to see me?" Damien decided to joke around with the chicken, who huffed in a strangely animated way before she began to walk away from the window and back down the hall before Damien opened the door back up, noticing how it seemed hotter but was slowly cooling down. Damien could only chuckle slightly as he leaned back in his seat, a smirk on his face and eyes
"Hey, hey, hey. B-be nice while at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza." Said a robotic voice from above Damien, making his smile slowly drop as he opens his eyes to stare directly into the eyes of Bonnie, the purple rabbit's eyes now black with small white dots in them. Damien knew that if he didn't think fast, then he was screwed, sure, he'd come back after what ever would happen next, but he would rather NOT, go through the pain of dying and gaining a death scar again, so, he did the only reasonable thing you could do in this situation, he jumped up onto his chair before tackling Bonnie to the ground, using the moment of distraction to run out of the office and down the hall, ignoring the purple rabbit as he ran down the hall and into the main room, where Chica was standing around, just staring at Damien as she noticed him, not knowing exactly what to say about this strange situation of a night guard in the main room
"Hi there Chica, pleasant weather? Nice. Gotta go back to the office now, see ya." Damien said before he heard the sound of Bonnie's feet hitting the ground rapidly as the animatronic bunny ran towards the night guard from behind, making the human run out of the way just in time to avoid being pounced on by the animatronic, who hit a table as he continued to fly through the air, even somehow managing to get a slice of pizza put between his eyes from one of the tables that weren't cleaned up before the night shift started, at this point, Chica was silently giggling at the unfortunate turn of events for Bonnie, going from certain victory in the hunt, to embarrassment in the main area, where everyone could see. This also seemed to cause Bonnie's eyes to return to their normal magenta colour as Toy Chica seemed to also be silently giggling at the scene, while Spring Bonnie and Toy Bonnie held their heads in their hands, shaking it slowly in embarrassment.
Damien could only laugh as he ran back into the office and watched the aftermath of his stunt on the monitors as he sat back down in his chair and put his feet up on the desk as he leaned back in his seat, fully amused by his antics as he looked at the time once more to see that another forty minutes had passed by, making the time now 1:10am. Thankfully for Damien, the next four hours went by a bit more smoothly, with Bonnie now embarrassed and avoiding the office for the rest of the night as he tried his hardest to clean the pizza off of his head without damaging his endoskeleton with the water, and Chica? She was just finding the situation amusing due to the simple fact that the bunny had brought it upon himself by getting cocky, that and she tasked herself with setting the tables and chairs back up again after Bonnie moved or knocked them over
Sadly this safety came at the cost of boring Damien, causing the young man to begin nodding off, his eyes getting heavy and hard to keep up, making him miss the sounds of animatronic feet hitting the ground as Foxy calmly walked towards the office, not in an attempt to stuff the guard… no, it wasn't his night yet. But rather, to learn about the new guard. It wasn't every night that a guard thought to risk his life to run OUT of the office to duke an animatronic who got into the office, that's for sure. The red fox was very surprised to find the night guard sleeping of all things in his office, his feet up on the desk and leaning back in his chair.
"Yarr, I do not believe it be in yer best interest to be sleepin' 'ere matey." Foxy said in his robotic voice, synthesised to have a stereotypical pirate accent as his hook stabbed into the wall slightly due to how the fox was standing in the door, the sudden voice jolted Damien awake as he jumped up and looked towards Foxy, at first confused and then scared before he got ready to shut the door on the pirate as the animatronic shook his head, "Don't ye be worryin' 'bout me lad. I not be a threat 'til tomorrow night. I just be wantin' to talk to th' guard who manage to duke Bonnie as ye did. An; what do I find? Ye be asleep on yer job matey." Foxy stated as he then crossed his arms, the coverings on his eyes closing somewhat to give the impression of a glare, which was off-putting for Damien
"Jeez, sorry Foxy. Just didn't really expect you to just, pop up here… though you wanted to see me, huh? Can't say I'm not surprised with everything stated, you guys seem, more alive than impressions imply… I mean, if Bonnie and Chica's reactions on the cameras to my trick are anything to go off of." Damien said as he began to walk up to Foxy, noticing that he and the animatronic were on similar levels of height, with Foxy being slightly taller, despite this, Damien stared directly into Foxy's uncovered, yellow eye with no fear, making the animatronic fox smirk lightly as he lightened up his glare
"Alright then lad. It seems ye aren't goin' to be scared. Despite losin' some o' me respect by sleepin' on the job... ye gained a lot o' it with 'ow ye be acting, not afraid an' ready to risk it all. I be likin' that there, so I'll be goin' easy on ye tomorrow, but bonnie be after yer 'ead all night tomorrow. So be ready fer that there danger." Foxy said calmly as he patted Damien on the back softly, well, as softly as you could as an animatronic. Foxy then seemed to freeze up a little before he blinked before shrugging calmly, "It seems that it be gettin' late now, an' yer shift be almost o'er. So I'll be seein' ye tomorrow. Oh, an' if ye can, on yer third night, embarrass the 'ell out o' them Rockstarrr animatronics, will ye? Vix an' I don't particularly like em. They are far too pompous for our liking. So anything to knock em down a few pegs is appreciated." The fox continued as he walked out of the office, Damien absently following him out and back to the Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria part of the emporium as the two continued to talk, getting the attention, and in the case of one particular purpler rabbit, annoyance, of all the animatronics as the two got back to Foxy's stage as the bell signalling that it was 6am chimed through the building
"Heh. Well, thanks for the talk Foxy. And yeah, while we won't be on friendly terms tomorrow, I might as well tell give you a little tip. Nothing in here will be able to kill me, or more accurately… keep me dead. So, see ya in the morning… Cap'n." Damien said calmly as he patted Foxy on the shoulder and then walked out to the front door, opening it and waving as a few people walked up to the door, including Dale and a woman with long blonde hair and green eyes dressed an outfit that screamed 'office secretary' to anyone that saw her
"Hey, Damien, it is nice to see you survived your first night at Freddy's. Anything interesting happen during the night?" Dale asked as he smiled at Damien while the woman whispered in his ear "Oh, sorry, you can go to your desk Abigail, just need to do check up with the night guard." The managed nodded to the woman, making her smile as she walked into the emporium while Damien put his hand on his chin
"Well, would me duking Bonnie into a pizza table and getting the respect of Foxy something that you would find interesting?" Damien asked his boss rhetorically, making him raise an eyebrow before he began to chuckle a little as the thought came to his mind, a smile now on his face
"I think that it would. So, you mean to tell me that you not only ran out of your office, but managed to trick Bonnie into running into a pizza table?" Dale asked Damien in amusement, only for the new night guard to hand a tape to the manager with a smirk… the tape was labelled, Duking Bonnie+Bonnie's Cleanup, and Dale had not only a good idea what was on the tape… but that he was going to enjoy what he saw in the tape when he watched it
