Chapter 1: Iris vs. Georgia
The next day, Iris and her Axew were wandering through the Pokémon Hills Nature Park, grumbling about Ash recently getting the female Mewtwo. "This is an outrage! Ash has gotten a whole bunch of Legendary Pokémon and I haven't caught a single one! He's just a kid! I should be the one getting the Legendary Pokémon, not him!" said Iris.
"If anyone's the kid, it's you," said a sickeningly familiar voice. Iris sharply turned around and saw who it was. It was a girl with dark pink hair and blue eyes. She wore a dark turquoise dress, a green vest with yellow buttons over it, a black choker, yellow gloves, a yellow cap, long, dark turquoise socks and green & yellow boots. "Georgia, what are you doing here?!" asked Iris. "I'm here because I want to battle you," said Georgia. "The last time we fought, I finally defeated you. Shouldn't my victory finally show you that I finally can beat you, anytime, anywhere," said Iris cockily. "Oh yeah? If you say you can beat me, then see if you can beat a new Pokémon I got," sneered Georgia. "Very well," said Iris.
Iris and Georgia stood on opposite ends of the area that they were going to battle at. "This will be a one on one battle," said Georgia. "That's fine by me. Dragonite, go!" said Iris. She threw the ball and Dragonite was summoned. He let out a roar and did a battle pose. "Now, say hello to my Florges!" said Georgia. She threw the ball and her new Pokémon was summoned. Florges was a Pokémon whose green lower body resembled a mermaid's tail with two large leaves blooming on either side of the flukes. Its upper body was white and slender, with sylphlike arms that end in three dainty fingers; it had two black, diamond-like shapes on each side of its svelte torso. Florges' head was rounded with a pointed, upturned nose and long teardrop-shaped ears, while its dark-colored eyes were framed by lengthy green lashes. It no longer carried a single flower like its pre-evolution, Flabébé did, but instead a large bouquet of ornate flowers around its head. The color of its flowers depended on whether it held a Red, Yellow, Orange, Blue, or White Flower as a Flabébé. Georgia's Florges was Red. "Florges," said the Pokémon.
"I've never seen a Pokémon like that in Unova before," said Iris. "That's because it's not from Unova, it's from the Kalos Region," said Georgia. "The Kalos Region?" asked Iris. "Yes. I got this Pokémon from a relative of mine," said Georgia. "What type is it?" asked Iris. "A Fairy-type. You'll find out what Fairy-types are capable of when the battle begins," said Georgia. Both Pokémon were now ready to fight.

"Dragonite, use Dragon Rush!" said Iris. Dragonite's body became surrounded in a light blue orb with white streaks and released a blue, dragon-shaped energy that covered its body. "Florges, take that Dragon Rush attack, head on!" said Georgia. "Flor," said Florges as she nodded. "Bad mistake," said Iris. Dragonite charged and slammed into Florges with full force and there was an explosion. "This battle is over in one turn!" said Iris. Dragonite let out a roar of victory. "Are you sure?" asked Georgia, with a smug grin. When the explosion cleared, Florges was still standing and there wasn't even a scratch on it. It just simply brushed off dust from its shoulder. "What's going on?! I don't understand! That should've delivered serious damage!" said Iris. "Yes, it would. But the fact is, Fairy-types are super effective against Dragon-types. And they are immune to Dragon-type attacks too," said Georgia. "OH NO!" cried Iris, clutching her hair.
"Florges, use Misty Terrain!" said Georgia. Florges created some pink mist that surrounded the battlefield. "This attack will boost my Florges' Fairy-type moves," said Georgia. "Dragonite, use Ice Beam!" said Iris. Dragonite fired an Ice Beam attack at Florges. "Florges, dodge the attack!" cried Georgia. Florges dodged the attack, just in time. "Dazzling Gleam attack!" cried Georgia. Florges let out a bright gleam of light from her eyes. It delivered super effective damage on Dragonite and temporarily blinded him. "Use Petal Blizzard!" said Georgia. Multiple pink petals began to circle around Florges' body, eventually growing into a tornado of pink petals that swirled around her body. Then, she hurled the petals, which hit Dragonite. "Florges, finish it with Moon Blast!" said Georgia. Florges created a large pink orb of moon energy and hurled it at Dragonite. The attack hit Dragonite, resulting in an explosion.

When the explosion cleared, Dragonite was on the ground, defeated, with swirls in its eyes. "Oh no, Dragonite!" cried Iris. She ran up to Dragonite. "Are you okay?" asked Iris. Dragonite let out a groan. "I figured out why your Dragon-type attacks didn't work on Ash's Ninetales in past battles. It's part Fairy-type as well. I don't see any Dragon Master material in you if you're gonna keep losing. Such a kid," said Georgia. Florges did a wet razz berry at Iris and the two left. Iris growled angrily.
Well, Iris has been humiliated by Georgia's new Florges, which is one of the defeats she experiences in this story. Next chapter, the TCRI interview . . .
