Poppy was in shock when she saw Serena enter the pokemon center. She still had the hug time bracelet that she made for her. Serena noticed the new kid with them as Ash said,"Serena, great that you returned. This is Pearl, our new friend. She's been looking for you all day." That surprised Serena a lot as she says,"Nice to meet you Pearl. Though I must ask, why have you been looking for me"? Poppy tried to think of an excuse before coming up with a smart idea, saying,"I am such a huge fan of your performances. I've wanted to ask for some private tips because I'm learning to be a performer myself. Is it a bother"? Serena smiled before saying,"Not at all. I have some time before the showcase tomorrow. I'll give you a couple tips," as she led Poppy outside with her. When they made it towards the battlefield, just before Serena could start talking, Poppy tackled Serena into a huge hug, with Serena happily, but confusingly, intercepting with her own hug. While this occurred, Serena felt a sense of familiarity, as if she recognized this kind of hug before. Once they separated, Serena smiled, saying,"Thank you. That was a little unexpected, but since you are a fan of me, a hug or two is perfectly fine." That's when Poppy took off her hood while saying,"I'm more than just a fan Serena," leaving the Vaniville Town native in shock. She smiled brightly before shouting,"Poppy?! I can't believe it! It's you," as they shared another big hug with one another, happy in each other's embrace. After separating again, Serena said,"I can't believe you're back again!! And so big too. How did you grow that quick or am I shrinking again"? Poppy laughed before saying,"It's thanks to this little gadget on my right wrist called a Growth Bracelet. Branch made it for me. I flicked this switch, which can make me grow and return back to normal size if I want to. I returned here by going through the portal and appearing by the center here. I then got these clothes and kept this hood on so in case anyone else sees me, they don't think I'm anything weird or suspicious. I heard you were going to be in this masterclass, so, I thought it'd be a good opportunity to see you again." Hearing that made Serena smile in gratitude as she says,"Well, it means the world that you came to visit and watch the showcase masterclass. But, what about Troll Village"? Poppy gave a reassuring smile, saying,"I've been looking for an excuse to go on a little vacation. Besides, they'll be fine. They can handle a couple days without me. I mean, what's the worst that can happen"?
Meanwhile, In Troll Village...
"It's a Poppy 911"!!!! Many trolls were beginning to panic when Poppy did not show up for the morning performance. When Peppy went to her pod to see what was keeping her, he was in for a horrendous surprise: she wasn't there!!! In fact, she was nowhere to be seen in the village. The noise and panic alerted Branch as he started to get some stuff to begin searching. As he ready to head out, he trips over the rock that had the bracelet earlier. He looked and saw that it was gone as he says,"Oh Poppy...you didn't...," before looking out at the forest with worry.
Back in the pokemon world...
Poppy was telling Serena on how things have been since returning home. Serena smiled and laughed as Poppy finished telling a funny story, saying,"It took two hours and 20 bottles of water to get Cooper's head out of the bucket. At least he learned that his head is not a mop." Serena and Poppy both shared a heartfelt laugh as Serena says,"Your friends sound really nice. I wish I got to meet them last time." Poppy smiled before saying,"You can come visit Troll Village whenever you want and I'd be happy to show you around." Suddenly, they heard voices coming as Poppy quickly put her hood back on just in case. It turned out to be Ash, Clemont, and Bonnie, who came out to see how things were. When Ash asked him how things went, Serena smiled, saying,"Pearl and I had a blast with training. I taught her a lot about performing. Right," as Poppy and Serena high fived one another. Then, Poppy stood up, saying,"Listen guys, I need to tell you something. My name isn't actually Pearl. It's Poppy, and Ash, the real reason I knew who you were was, because Serena told me about you. Plus, the real reason I know Serena is because...she and I met almost a week ago." Bonnie seemed to remember something as she says,"Wait...Poppy...that was the name you said Serena from that dream you had." Serena blushed before saying,"Well, it wasn't actually a dream. I did actually meet Poppy and went on an adventure with her to help her return home. Poppy, if you want," as she nodded and removed her hood, revealing her look to Serena's friends. They were a little surprised, but happy nonetheless to meet a close friend of Serena. Bonnie didn't mind as she says,"Wowee!! You look pretty," with Dedenne agreeing. Poppy smiled, knowing that at least she could comfortably be herself around Serena's friends. She then continued with,"So you do not freak out, I am not an alien or a weird creature. I am a rare being called a troll. My kind and I love to sing, dance, hug, and make a lot of new friends." They all seenmed to get it as Ash says,"That sounds all cool"!! Serena then mentioned,"That's not the best part. Poppy is capable of doing some pretty incredible things." When Ash said,"Really? What kind of things," Poppy responded with,"Why don't I show you"?
They walked into a secluded area of the forest where no one would see them or especially her. Then, Poppy motioned everyone to stand back before facing a tall tree. She then used her hair to swing up the tree, branch to branch, before creating a stairway to climb down safely. That was enough to make everyone, except Serena, become jaw dropped. Poppy bowed as Ash, Clemont, and Bonnie applauded, with Ash saying,"That was so awesome!! I'll beat you could be Greninja in a tree climbing race doing that," making the pink troll blush embarrassment. Bonnie then asked,"Can I do that with my hair too," with Clemont ready to protest against it. However, Poppy beat him to the punch, saying,"I'm sorry, but unlike human hair, troll hair is quite different. Only we are able to move and manipulate it that way because it allows us to defend ourselves from danger." Bonnie sighed in disappointment, but seemed to understand. Clemont says,"Though, looking from it from a scientific point of view, it is almost beyond anything that falls within the laws of science." Poppy showed a look of confusion on her face as Serena simplified it for her, saying,"He means that it's unlike anything he's ever seen before." That made a lot more sense for her. Ash then said,"What else are you able to do Poppy"? Poppy then smiled, saying,"Well, I have some killer dance moves and a stellar voice when it comes to singing. Oh! And on my left wrist is something called a hug time bracelet. When it chimes, it means hug time, when everyone hugs each other." Bonnie soon got excited, saying,"Sing something for us please"!! Poppy smiled, saying,"Why not? But I won't do it unless Serena joins me. Won't you," as Serena nodded, saying,"Sure. Let's give it a whirl." Both females stood by one another as they began to tap their foot towards the ground, getting a dancing rhythm set.

As both females bowed after giving such a stellar performance, Ash, Clemont, and Bonnie applauded and cheered in excitement. Clemont was the first to speak, saying,"That was really amazing! Your rhythm, tempo, and movement were all in exact sync. Your voiced meshed together in perfect unison and harmony." Ash then says,"You two were really awesome together," with Pikachu and Dedenne chirping in agreement. Poppy smiled and said,"Thanks. I'm glad you guys enjoyed it so much." Serena added,"Nothing's better than dancing and singing with friends." Suddenly, both their Hug Time bracelets chimed as Serena says,"Maybe just one thing." Poppy added,"Couldn't agree more," as the two shared a sentimental hug, allowing Ash, Clemont, and Bonnie to join in as well. Once they separated, Serena placed a comforting hand on Poppy's shoulder while saying,"I'm glad you're here visiting again," as Poppy looked up and smiled, saying,"Me too Serena. Me too." They started to head back towards the pokemon center to rest up for the evening. As they walked, Serena and Poppy followed the group holding each other's hands while smiling at one another. Who knew that this little vacation would grow into something more for the both of them?
Meanwhile, in Troll Village...
Every troll was searching high and low, looking for any signs of Poppy. However, it's like she disappeared into thin air. Branch was out in the forest, calling his girlfriend's name, but not having any luck. He was ready to look somewhere else when something caught his eye. He went to look and discovered something he never saw before as he muttered,"A portal"?
