I stalked to where Friedrich had screamed. He lay on the floor struggling to remove the trap. The old device had clamped down on his leg, the teeth digging into his flesh.

The smell of his blood made my fur stand up. I haven't felt this much excitement ever since that entire group of people came by. At least 5 men and 6 women, and 3 children. They lasted for at least 5 months. The children weren't, how do you say it? Filling?

They were too scrawny for my taste. The adults had a good amount of fat but it didn't hit the spot like I thought they would, kind of sad really. I was hoping that it would satisfy my hunger, it only made it worse! So much worse! "Andreas!" Friedrich screamed. He attempted to pry it open, only resulting in more blood curdling out of the wound. Keep it up and loses even more blood, and he will lose the flavor!

"Andreas! Andreas! Hilf mir! Die Verriegelung ist blockiert!" Andreas! Andreas! Help me! The latch is jammed! I stood from where I was crouched and walked towards him. The moment he looked at me, he began to scream. "Andreas! Hilf mir!" Where was Andreas? I listened to the wind and I could hear a rapid heartbeat. And what sounded like panting. It was Andreas. Poor, fat bastard. I let out a small gurgle. Friedrich grabbed his hunting knife and plunged it into my neck. Or at least tried to.

I grabbed his wrist and stared at him with my empty eye sockets. "Andreas!" I cocked my head and repeated what he said. "Andreas! Hilf mir!" Mocking him, he choked on his sobs. I took his arm and took a bite. The flavor made my fur stand. I relished in the flavor. Just as I was doing so, Friedrich dropped his knife and picked it up with his other hand. He raised it to puncture my skin for only the blade to nearly bounce off my skin. I gave off a small laugh, howling to the sky.

Looking at me with utter horror and pain, I figured I had enough enjoyment from his suffering. Taking the final blow I bit down onto his skull, taking pleasure from the sickening crunch it made.

His blood staining my jaws, the metallic taste on my almost rotting tongue.
