Here we go! Chapter one!

Now before we start this story, just remember what I said back in the authors note about me using certain characters, humans in the Star Fox world, etc.

And please be gentle on the reviews; for this is my second Star Fox story and I really wanted this idea to get out in the open.

And for some people out there who think it's immature to do an authors note before publishing a story. It's not. There is nothing wrong with it and it's a way for writers to get their thoughts out before releasing their own work.

Also I want to send out a big thank you to everyone who supported my idea all the way. Thanks guys! :D

Also, it might be a while before I get chapter 2 finished, so try to be patient until I do, okay? And i know it's not perfect but I did the best I could.

Hope you like it! :)

I don't own Starfox, the characters or anything from it.

I don't own the parents of the OCS. They came form Eureka Seven.

I own Gina, Stacy, Hank, and Matt. Those kids are my OCs.

Chapter 1: All Aboard

The galaxy is full of many mysterious and wonderful things. But aside from the different planets, stars, and constellations, would you believe in another species of living beings?

What I mean is anthropomorphic creatures that live just like humans do, but outside of earth. Many of them are animals you recognize on Earth: Dogs, lizards, rabbits, foxes, etc, but they walk and talk like humans would and has societies like we do. Some of them actually live with humans on Earth while others live on different planets miles and miles away, yet still live in societies and cities.

Well, in a galaxy far far away, there was a group of mercenaries making their way towards Earth to gather supplies before going on their next mission. However, these were men you did not want to mess with and let's just say in a short while, a little girl will encounter them.

We cut to a park on Earth where the birds were singing, the sun was shining, and there were some children playing together. Among some of these were Gina (daughter of Moondoggie and Gidget), Hank (son of Hap), Stacy (daughter of Stoner) and Matt (son of Hilda and Matthew); all of them are playing a game of kickball together as best friends often do.

"Heads up!" Stacy kicked the ball to Matt.

"Got it!" he used a headbutt to knock the ball back.

Since about noon, the four friends have been hanging out and playing games all day and promised their parents to be back in time for dinner. Things have been going well until Hank, accidentally, kicked the ball too hard and sent it flying towards the forest near the park.

"Oops!" said Hank, "I kicked it too far!"

"It's okay, I'll go get it!" Gina said as she ran towards the direction where the ball went, "I'll be right back!"

Gina ran towards the forest in search of the ball. After a couple minutes of searching, she started to see something unusual; it looks like a ship that's a little smaller but big enough to carry heavy cargo loads. The pilot, however, was nowhere to be seen so Gina could not ask anyone.

"Where did that come from?" she asked herself.

She walks around it, taking a good look at some of its features until she sees the hatch opened. Feeling curious, Gina goes inside to see if she could find the ball before anyone else finds it.

"I know I shouldn't intrude but I can make this quick and leave." Gina said to herself.

It didn't take very long for her to find the ball among some crate."Ah! I got it!" she said as she picked up the ball.

But when Gina was about to walk out of there, the ship started to rumble and rock and she started to lose her balance.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" she struggled to stand but failed.

Gina crouched down and covered her head, hoping that whatever is making the ship rock and tumble would stop. But unbeknownst to her, the ship was taking off and blasting towards the sky.

Meanwhile, the other kids wondered what was taking their friend so long.

"Where's Gina?" Stacy asked the boys, "She should've been back by now."

"I know, she's been gone a long time." Matt said.

"Let's go find her and see what's the hold up." Hank suggested.

They head to the same direction Gina went but found no trace of their friend.

"Gina! Gina! Where are you?" they called out but now answer.

"Guys look!" Stacy called out, "Over here!"

The boys rushed over to see Stacy standing over a bunch of tracks left by the cargo ship.

"Oh no..." they said in a hushed voice.

They realized that their friend was taken to outer space or worse. Speaking of, Gina had finally calmed down and decided to see if she could leave.

"I have to get out of here!" she said as she pulled the handle.

Once she opened the door and got out, she looked around and immediately noticed that she was in an entire different surrounding.

"Wha...where am I?" she asked herself.

She knew it was some kind of cargo holding area and hoped that she wasn't locked in. As she walked to the door, to her surprise, it was left open and walked herself out.

"What is this place?" Gina thought.

She finds herself walking down some kind of hallway, taking note of some of the things she has seen along the way. Some of the equipment looked similiar to the things her parents and Holland had on the Gekko and she also passed by some rooms just like on the ship back home; a couple of them being littered with beer bottles as well as empty bags of potato chips.

Another couple of areas has weapons on racks as well as training rooms and where small ships are stored. She immediately realized that she was on a large ship, much like the Gekko back home except she had no idea who was operating this vessel. And who knows if they are dangerous or not.

Suddenly, she heard some footsteps coming from a hallway nearby and began to shake.

"H-H-Hello?" she called out meekly, "A-Anyone here?"

There was no answer as she, slowly, made her way towards the front of the ship. She looked out the large glass window and her heart sank at what she saw...Earth was like a thousand miles away and she was in outer space.

"Oh...my...gosh!" Gina said to herself, "I'm up in space with no way to get home! What am I gonna do?! Mommy and daddy don't even know where I am!"

As she continued to worry and struggling to hold in her tears, Gina could make the sounds of footsteps making their way towards the hall behind her. There was no way of knowing if whoever or whatever was a threat or not and there was nowhere to run away from the assuming danger. Gina felt her heart beating faster and faster as she heard the footsteps getting louder and louder with every passing second.

"Who are you?" a voice asked.

She gasped and turned around to face the person who spoke up. Gina's journey has only just begun.
