Chapter 2 : The day we met and The broken promise
(Yuu's voice) Last time we were attacked by this pink knight digimon and Dragon Knight Digimon but what is this with Tagiru? What is he doing in the old man's house?
The preview of last chapter is shown. a view as Dynasmon and Lord Knightmon attacks from Yuu's perspective
"Old man i need a favor from you." Tagiru said seriously
"Hmm what is it this favor you want?" The old man asked
"Could I borrow Clockmon i need him to go to the past?" Tagiru asked
"Borrow clockmon are you serious? One wrong move you could be stuck in the past even worse change the future itself." The old man said
"Tea is ready." Clockmon said as he gets tea ready
"Ah the tea..." The old man said
"Woah you're making the tea old man?" Tagiru asked as after that he helps him set up along with Gumdramon
"What a nice tea." They then drink in a calm manner inside as the tea feels too relaxing
"Think of it again come back to me tomorrow come here if you think this is your choice" The old man said
"Yes... Maybe i was thinking it too far." Tagiru said as he bowed
"Thanks for the tea." Gumdramon bowed and followed tagiru
"There are thing you need not to know... even if it's a small memory." The old man sighed
"Yeah..." Clockmon said
That afternoon after he goes back to his house he saw that his mom and dad are still arguing
"Mom... Dad... I'm home!" Tagiru let off his shoe on the house and saw them in the living room
"It's because you-!" His dad wanted to play hands with his mom but Tagiru suddenly stop him
"What is it this time dad?" Tagiru asked
"I've done basketball just like you ask please don't fight anymore if it is about my grade i'll fix it just no more fighting please." He pleads to his dad
"Next time if it wasn't for his sake." His dad then goes to the bedroom
"Mom you can't be like this all the time." Tagiru sighed as he covers her mom with blanket and made her some herbal tea
"What did dad threaten you this time?" He asked seriously
"He saw your math grade dropping." His mom hands are shaking as she sips her tea
"Dad was always harsh on grades but mom i can't be there always to protect you." Tagiru said as he takes a moment of silence and breath
"Tell you what i made the two of you some special dinner the akashi's special so just relax yourself and tonight let's do movie night." Tagiru smiled
That night Tagiru along with his mom and dad went off the traditional movie night as his dad apologized to his mom yet again for his behavior
"So dad why did you want to hit mom anyway?" Tagiru asked
"I was over the emotion that i can't think straight." His dad said as from the look of it it was the stress from work
They talk eye to eye one on one at each other.
"Is that it?" Tagiru asked
"Yeah." His dad puts his head down
"Mom is doing all the housework ahe has lives too you know." Tagiru said
"She isn't a fighter please just please no fighting." He begged him as he know his mom has a diagnosis of weak heart
"Okay son... We were lucky to have you." His dad smiled and gives a head rub to him
"Now let's get on to movie's night!" Tagiru said excitedly
"Sure kiddo." His dad said to him
The next morning rolled around as tagiru comes into his dad's and mom's room he found something messy on his dad side it was a used work uniform but he saw something irregular about it
"Did dad just?" Tagiru thought but then he saw his mom coming to him
"Tagiru you're not off to school?" His mom surprised him
"Ahhhh! Mom!" Tagiru shouted as he was in shock
"Yeah i just wanted to go." Tagiru sweatdropped with an awkward smile and leaves while going to school
At School that lunch tagiru is spacing out
"If that is dad's... then..." Tagiru thought as he saw the view of the school and eats his sandwich he pack from home as he then met with a loud boom surprise from his back
"Tagiru?" From behind was none other than Yuu
"You scared me Yuu." Tagiru said as he sighed in relief
"What are you doing in the rooftop alone?" Yuu asked
"Oh nothing... thinking about stuff.." Tagiru smiled
"Yesterday was really intense I and Taiki encounter a new digimon." Yuu explained to Tagiru what happens yesterday
"That's cool!" Tagiru gets excited
"So are you busy today? we need to practice." Yuu said
"Sorry i think i have to skip again today." Tagiru apologized
"Again?" Yuu asked
"Yeah something comes up my dad knows my math test goes down." Tagiru said
"But it was a 89. It was a good grade." Yuu said
"But still my dad isn't happy he was at least happy if i got 93 to say the least." Tagiru said
"I never knew your dad was so strict my mom and dad just let me off doing whatever i want." Yuu said
"Ahaha yuu you are so lucky..." Tagiru said sarcasticly as he left to go back to class
"Wait tagiru is that a sarcastic thing?" Yuu asked as he was beginning to feel aware about it
That afternoon after school Tagiru is more assured than ever he wants to know it
"If i'm going to do this there is no turning back." His hands are shaking but he know what it is he is just scared but he wants to know as he quickly grab his bags after the bell he leaves then yuu wanted to follow him but he got lost in the way due to so busy the street of the city that day
At the old man's clock shop as Tagiru walks in he saw a veemon with scars on his right eye glared at him as it left
"Who is that?" Tagiru thought
"Hmm maybe visiting the clock shop." Gumdramon said
"That is a good point." Tagiru said
At the shop
"Old man i'm back." Tagiru comes into the shop
"Ah you've come." The old man seems to welcome him
"Who is that coming before we do?" Tagiru asked as he was confused
"Oh he is an old colleague that comes in more likely an old custoner why?" The old man asked
"Oh nothing it's just that he is a cool mon." Tagiru said
"Yeah with scars and all that looks cool." Gumdramon said
"Don't you have scars?" Clockmon asked
"No this is a birth mark!" Gumdramon shouted
"okay okay this going off topic and if you would mind?" Tagiru asked
"Wait how did you find my shop?! it randomly pops out you know!" The old man asked to him
"Easy... You are an old man..." Tagiru said
"Huh?! what was that suppose to mean?" The old man asked
"Kidding... Kidding... i trace Clockmon signature." Tagiru said as he then shows his loader
"You locate me?!" Clockmon asked
"Yeah... it's called tracker..." Gumdramon said
"I just tink the loader just a bit..." Tagiru said
"Did taiki and yuu know you are here?" The old man asked
"Nope... One thing i want to ask though why the digi quartz appear again?" Tagiru asked
"Oh that you'll find out and see but for now." The old man said as he led tagiru and gumdramon to a place
"well firstly..." He puts the close sign first on his shop then clockmon is ready
"Are the two of you ready?" Clockmon asked
"Then here we go!" He said as he gets ready
"Chrono Breaker!"
This attack of his can be used on attacking or turn back time at a low setting
At the year 20xx (around tagiru about 7 or 8 years old)
"Where are we?" Tagiru asked as his and gumdramon's body puts up in an astral form
"You are in your mind at a low scale this can be brought up." The old man said
"Wait what?! then why you can keep your form?" Tagiru asked
"It's a secret." The old man said as they hide
From the way it looked it was in the park as they heard a sound of a boy he resembles tagiru but he runs off crying and then he sits alone in the park the day was cloudy so yeah it was about to rain soon and the park is strangely empty unless it was a basketball ring nearby
"Mom and Dad is always fighting." The little tagiru said
"Are you always this off a crybaby?" The old man asked
"No... not that i remember off.." Tagiru said as he can't remember that one specific day
All of the people from the basketball court one by one goes home as the day begins to rain
Out of nowhere a digimon appeared it was what he didn't recognize he wears a black armor looking at him
"What are you doing here kid?" The dark knight asked
"Woah!" The little tagiru is in shock as he fell off from his bench
"Huh?" The dark knight is dumbfounded
"What are you?" He asked
"Does it matter what i am kid..." The dark digimon asked
"Might as well take my time i can't bare to see a kid alone here." He thought
"Your armor is cool!" Tagiru shouted as the people stared at him as it seems he was talking alone
"My armor haha yeah sure..." The dark knight smiled
"What is with this kid he isn't scared off me..." The dark knight thought and he is still confused
"I know we just met. but will i see you again tomorrow?" Tagiru asked
"Sure kid..." The dark knight said
As day went by the two grow each closer in their bonds it was at least 5 days straight
"Can i ask?" The little tagiru asked to the dark knight
"Sure." The dark knight asked
"Why people can't see you are you some sort of imaginary friend?" The little tagiru asked
"You could say that." The dark knight sighed
"I just wish my mom and dad would stop fighting..." Tagiru said randomly
"Are your parents in a fight of some sort?" The dark knight asked
"Kinda... I kind of hate them when they are like that..." Tagiru said
"This kid just say it without any remorse... " The dark knight sighed as he felt not the same as Yuu did he was manipulating him but this kid he felt different
"I've told a bit about myself now you." Tagiru smiled
"Oh yeah... i always followed my brother's path even when sometimes i didn't want to..." The dark knight said as he told him minimum details but still keep it summarize
"That is cool to have a brother i wish i had one." The little tagiru said
"Then let's meet here every week... i've become fond of you kid." The dark knight said
"Pinkie promise?" The little tagiru asked
"Of course punkie promise or something." The dark knight digimon said
"That dark digimon." The real tagiru looked at it as if he somehow recover some of it
"But in the end he never came again i've waited and waited..." The sound was from the little tagiru
As the memory lane becomes more clearer after 3-4 months he still search for the dark knight at one point his mom fetch him since he was there alone sleeping waiting for the promise that never been fulfilled
"Mom i don't want to leave!" The little tagiru said
"Okay tagiru if he didn't come today then don't go look for him okay?" His mom asked
"Okay!" The little tagiru smiled as he waits and waits until that night he falls asleep and his mom looked worried
"That kid is persistent but we shall never meet again i had some fun i could talk have fun but that time was temporary." The dark knight then disappears as he was spying on the little tagiru.
"So he just lefte there... without telling a reason... i am really an idiot." Tagiru said
"Are you satisfied so can we leave?" The old man asked
"Yeah." Tagiru sighed
As the last scene it shows was The little tagiru calling out the name of the dark knight in his sleep
Back in the present time
"So are you satisfied?" The old man asked
"Yes..." Tagiru sighed as he grips his loader
"My goal now would be finding him... i need answers." Tagiru bowed and left along with gumdramon
"Tagiru are you okay?" Gumdramon asked
"No..." Tagiru said firmly
"I'll surely find you and make you answer." Tagiru thought seriously
"Heh that kid sure sounds fun." Someone is watching tagiru from a top of a building along with the pink knight lord knightmon
"Want me to follow him?" Lord Knightmon asked
"No need... our path will soon crossover." It was a sound like a girl she and Lord Knightmon left
