Today was math day, her classmate Michelle will no doubt point out that she looked like part of the undead and will call her zombie girl again. If only Huggle was there, he would know just what to say to shut her up. Or perhaps Sir Didymus, heck even Ludo would intimidate that scornful, childish, witch! It didn't help that she hasn't done her math homework because of the insomnia. In only two hours she has to go to school with her homework done and to babysit Toby ( as karen couldn't bother today because of planning a party with her pompous lady friends, that according to her took all day to plan ) until thirty minuts are left to actually get there.
How horrible! Literature was her forte, not math! If only she had a genie to do her homework for her...wait a minute, she had magical friends, Sarah thought with a grin. She takes the crystal Hoggle had given her and says: Hoggle, Syr Didymus, Ludo i need you.
In a flash those three trusty friends appeared before her. Sarah scooped them up excitedly into a warm hug.
Sarah, why'd ya call, are you alright? asked Huggle
Say the word milady and i will smite every enemy that dare bother thee! interjected Syr Didymus.
Sarah friend! sayd Ludo
I'm alright guys. Well there is an enemy, the ancient, most terrible math homework.
This math homework wouldn't happen to be the giants of mathodia, right, milady? They are a most fearesome bunch.
What! no...
I don't do no homework Sarah, i'm lucky enough to know how to spell my own name.
Oh, Huggle.
It's more than most goblins.
Ludo not understand!
Is there someone who could help me?
Well, there is that rat, Jareth, he is good with the numbers, sayd Huggle.
No way would i call on Jareth...
Hello, precious thing! a dulcet voice cooed in the room and there he was, in the damn mirror, Jareth himself.
What do you want Goblin king?
I want many things Sarah-mine: better subjects, unlimited power and most importantly: to have you quivering before me as i plunge into your rose petals and show you just how much power i have over you . Sarah sputters, her red face rivaling the most beautiful sunsets. But for now, precious i am content with just helping you with your insignificant mortal bussiness, like homework, Jareth says that while wildly grinning.
I, i don't want to cheat, said Sarah resigned.
What are you going to confess, Sarah-mine: A mythological, faery prince did my homework for me, Mrs Hanson?
How do you know my teacher's name? Are you stalking me?
You are mine, precious-thing and as such i am merely looking out for you. Who knows what other supernatural beings you might invite in next time, beside myself, of course...
Urgh, fine! Help me with my homework. Ludo, could you please watch Toby?
Splendid , precious! On the first exercise you write x + y =...
