CHAPTER 2
Mean while back in New York City Rose went to the police station to talk to Olivia when Amanda spotted her and said"Hey Rose what are you doing here?""Can I speak to Lieutenant Olivia please?""Of course,of course follow me sweetheart ok."Then they walked to Olivia's office when she looked up and said"Hey Rose you need anything?""I need to tell you something before the trail.""Ok sweetheart what is it you can tell us."a sigh"I just found out that O'm pregnant and it's not Draco's,Draco want me to keep it and raise it as ours.""Ok and what do you want.""I I don't know but I do want to keep it, it is part mine and I won't kill it, I just want you to know, will it mess up the trail?"then Amanda commented"Well we don't know we'll talk to the DA about it let him know that your pregnant too alright."
So the next day when Olivia saw Stone she said"Stone,Rose came to see me yesterday and told me that she just found out that her rapist made her pregnant, she also said that her and Draco are going to keep it and raise it.""Well least she told now instead off the day of the trail or after but that does not change anything for her, but it does for her rapist though and not in a good way either."Then Olivia said"What do you mean.""Well we know that he is going away for her rape,how about we make it where he unjustly pregnant her when she is underage as well that will give him about oh 6 to 7 years in prison and no parole either."
So the next day was the trail and Rose is nervous sitting with Draco,Olivia,Amanda,Carisi and Stone, when Stone commented"Don't worry you'll be fine just answer the questions truthfully and you'll do just fine."Rose nodded her head when all of a sudden the officer of the court opened the doors saying that the court is now insession so they all made their way into the court room 10 Stone went up in front of the room to the two big tables, and rose and Draco sat right behind him,once everyone was sitting down the Judge Jane came in when the guard said"All rise."Then the Judge sat down"All sit down please."Then the Judge stated"This court is now in session, the accuse Rose Potter-Riddle against the defendant Joseph Dominick, how does the defendant plead ?"Then counselor for the defendant stood up and said"Not guilty, your honor."
Then the judge turn to him and said"Oh really it's says here that your defendant had raped and pregnanted this poor girl who I may tell you is clearly underage counselor."Then she turned to Stone and said"You can call your first witness .""Thank you,your my first witness I call detective Carisi to the stand."So Carisi came in from the side door to the witness stand then guard came to him with a bible, so Carisi placed his hand on it and the Guard said"Do you swear to tell the truth and nothing but the truth so help you god.""I do."Then Carisi sat down and Stone said" Detective,when you got to the scene can you tell us what you saw please?""Of course when we got to the scene their was a girl sitting down shaking and crying in her boyfriends arms we went to her and she told us that she was raped and she introduce herself as Rose Lily Potter-Riddle."
Then Stone said"I see,did she say anything else Detective?""Yes she said that she was raped,then she started to cry in her boyfriends arms."then Stone said"No further questions your honor."Then the other Lawyer stood up said"Detective,was the victim bruised up?""Yes she was,we took her to the hospital to get checked and to get a rape test done, we got the results back and that it was positive that she was raped."I see and did she tell you who raped her detective?""Yes she did she told us that he had blue eyes,brown hair and it was short,Caucasian and he was tall that was all she said.""No more questions your honor."then the judge turned to the detective and said"You can step down now, call your next witness.""I call Miss Rose Potter to the stand."Then Rose shakenly walked to the stand and the guard placed the bible in front of her,she then place her hand on it and he said"Do you swear to tell the truth and nothing but the truth so help you god?""I do.'She then sat down on the chair.
Then stood up and said"Hello miss Potter."She smiled shyly at him and said"Hi.""Miss Potter can you can me how your day started?"She breathed out slowly then she said"Well we got on the plane early this morning,at 1 am and then landed around 11 am then we arrived at the house we are staying in while we are here,then we went and to the mall to buy our school supplies when all of a sudden a hand came over my mouth to stop me from screaming I was soooo scared.""It's ok carry on miss Potter."Said Stone,then she continued"He pulled me into the boys b b bathroom and he he r r raped m m me."Then she started to cry the judge handed her a tissue to wipe her eyes and nose,then the other lawyer stood up and said"Miss Potter,your british right?"Rose Said"Yes I'am, I was born british but went to a private school though."
Then the other lawyer said"Ah,I see,miss Potter are or are you not engaged to be married?""I am but Draco and I decided to wait until we were married to have s s sex though,until I was raped then I found out that I was pregnant a few weeks ago after I was raped."she said with tears going down her face and was shaking a bit as well then the other lawyer said"No further questions your honor."Then the Judge turned to Rose and said"You can step down now miss Potter."Rose smiled shyly at the judge and stood up and left the seat and then she sat down beside Benson who then put her arm around her and smiled .
Then said"I call my next wittness is Draco Malfoy."Then Draco came in from the side door and then was sweared in to tell the truth,then said"Mr. Malfoy how long have you known the victim?"Then Draco said"I've known Rosey since we were 11 years old and then when we were 15 I asked her if she would go out with me, she said yes,then after a year or two of dating I asked her to marry me."Then Stone said"Mr. Malfoy did you and Rose agree to wait until you got married to make love?""We did yes, we wanted it to be special for our first time together."
Stone then nodded his head and turned to the jury and said"They both wanted to wait for marriage in-order to make love to each other,which is only right but that was now taken away from them,ruined by a rapist."Then other lawyer said"Objection"The judge said"Over-ruled,Continue on ."Stone then nodded his head and turned back to Draco and asked"You found your fiance,did you not Mr. Malfoy?,how was she?""Yes,I did find her, she was in the boy's bathroom in the mall and she was crying and shaking,her cloths was ripped and she had blood running down her legs."Then Stone said"No further questions,your honor."
Then the defense lawyer then stood up and asked" ,you said that you knew the victim right,how do we know if you didn't rape the victim?""Objection!"Then the judge said"Overruled, ,this is your first warning.""Of course,your honor no further questions."The judge turned to Draco and said"You can step down now."So Draco then stepped down and he went to sit with Rose and he rapped his arm around her to offer comfort. then the judge said" call your next witness .""Of course your honor,the people call leiuenant Olivia Benson to the stand."
Then Stone stood up and said"Lieutenant,can you please in your own words describe the scene that you arrived on with the victims please?"Olivia then nodded and said"Of course,with me was Rollins and Tutuola we walked in the mall and up to the bathroom were the victim was then sitting in the arms of her fiancee I introduced myself and the two detectives and the victim was crying and her fiance had told us that she was rapped and he introduced himself and rose to us,and we then took them to the hospital for rose to get a rape kit done as is procedure for what had happened."
Then then stood up and said"So it's a procedure to do a rape test after the rape correct lieutenant?""Yes it is,that way if there was seaman on her underwear we can try and find the guy who did it.""I see and you figured out that the defense is he one who did it right?""Yes that's right miss Potter did identify her attacker to the defense."Then Stone said"Ah I see,and can you point to miss Potter's attacker out please Lieutenant?""Yes it's the defense."
Then said"Thank you Lieutenant,no further questions your honor."Then the Judge turned to lieutenant Benson and said"You may step down now lieutenant,let's break for lunch shell we?"Then the judge banged her mallet on down on the stand for it then everyone left the courtroom to go for lunch .
