Who is this mysterious cloaked person in the earth kingdom? Let's join Korra and team avatar in their journey for this new cloaked enemy.
The Legend Of Korra: The Dark Avatar- Chapter Two
"So we're taking airships? Wouldn't we get there faster on sky-bison? ",Korra asked as Tenzin ordered some air nomads to pack the airship for their long trip.
"Well I thought it would be appropriate to use this type of travel since we used it last time to go to Ba Sing Sae in search of airbenders, plus all the sky bison are with the air nomads in the water tribe right now, apparently your father is having some trouble over their. " Tenzin said as an air nomad asked him a question.
"What do you mean my dad is having trouble? Is he ok? " ,Korra asked worried as Tenzin reassured her by saying, "Don't worry Korra he's perfectly fine, that's why we sent the airbenders over there. "
"Ok.. I trust you I just.. I can't lose my father Tenzin. " Korra said on the verge of tears. Tenzin hugged her and said, "I can ensure you nothing will happen to him, you have my word. " Korra smiled and said, "I'm all good now, imma go check on everyone else now. "
Tenzin nodded and walked on board as Korra headed inside to check on the rest of the team avatar, she walked in too see Bolin talking to Pabu and Mako looking at a map, as Asami was just waiting for them two.
Korra walked over to her and said, "So what are they doing? We're almost about ready to leave. " Asami sighed and said, "Bolin is trying to teach Pabu how to do animal tricks and Mako is trying to read a map of Ba Sing Sae in case they get lost again. "
"Like a map of a certain part of Ba Sing Sae or- " Asami gave her a look and said, "All of Ba Sing Sae! " Korra looked back at both of them and said, "Guys, this isn't going to be like last time, we're just going to see if we can find this more than one benger guy, that's all. "
"We know but this is just in case we get lost again, I mean we did find our family but we might not end up there again. " Bolin said as Pabu licked his face which only made him laugh.
"I can't believe I'm agreeing with you but Bolin's right, we need to make sure we know our way around this place and… I can't really follow my way around but, I think I can get around the lower and middle rows. " Mako said as he kept flipping the map up and down.
Korra sighed and said, "Well you guys can do that on the airship now let's go- " Asami grabbed Korra's shoulder and says, "We've.. Also been talking about the trip. "
Korra was a bit confused and said, "Ok is something wrong guys? " She asked as Bolin, Mako and Asami all looked at each other as Mako put his map away and said, "We're just a little.. Worried you might not be able to hold your own against this guy, I mean it's not like we know all about this person like Zaheer, and Kuvira. "
"Guys c'mon it's me, look this guy might sound dangerous but he's probably only mastered earth bending, meanwhile I've mastered everything plus the avatar state, I'm sure whoever this guy is, I can take him. "
They all looked to each other and Bolin said, "We just want you to be safe Korra, we love you. " Bolin then hugged Korra and she said, "I love you guys too. " Bolin then grabbed Asami and Mako and they all hugged together.
They all head outside and see Tenzin talking to Lin right outside the airship. They walk over to them and Korra says, "Lin? What are you doing here? "
"I'm joining you of course, I've heard of people mysteriously disappearing in the earth kingdom and I want to investigate, I'm joining whether you want me too or not. " Lin said as she held her hands against her hips.
"Actually you joining would be a big help, so I'm not against it. " Korra said happily. "Oh. Well alright then. " Lin said, a little baffled.
They all boarded the ship and began making their way to Ba Sing Sae.
Meanwhile In Ba Sing Sae
The mysterious cloaked person walked through some dark alleys and then walked into a room hidden by the darkness.
The room was filled with priceless artifacts, some of which could've been stolen and taken here itself, a smile crept across the persons face as they grabbed the artifacts and stuffed them into a bag, the figure then earth bended out the room and through the ceiling onto the roof as the cloaked figure ran away.
A couple minutes later..
"And here you go. " The cloaked person said as it gave a teenage boy back his golden mug, he then said, "Thank you so much! I thought my dad would be furious when he got home but now he won't know a thing, so how much do I owe ya? " He began to dig in a bag full of money but the persons hand stopped him and said, "That won't be necessary, I'm just here to help. "
"Oh. Well thanks! I couldn't be any more grateful to you! " He said happily. "You'll be even more grateful when I kill the avatar once and for all. " The person said calmly which surprised the boy as his smile disappeared, before he could say anything the figure air bended and flew away.
The boy was left speechless as he watched the figure disappear into the sundown.
A Couple Hours Later..
As the cloaked person meditated underground, the man with the red mask returned and said, "We have just received intel that the avatar is making her way towards Ba Sing Sae now. "
"And how long before she arrives? " The cloaked figure asked the man, "About one more day my leader. " The cloaked figure smiled and said, "That gives me enough time then. "
The crimson faced man asked confused, "Enough time for what my leader? " The cloaked person looked back to the man and said, "Why kill the earth king of course, what else would I do? "
The figure then earth bended out through a tunnel and disappeared as the man said, "I think I might've gone too deep with this guy. "
Meanwhile With Team Avatar
"Alright according to the sun I think we should arrive by tomorrow. " Mako said, trying to look at the sun.
"Uh Mako we're already here. " Korra said as Mako looked ahead to see the giant wall and he smiled nervously.
As they were flying towards the earth palace, in the corner of Tenzin's eye he saw three figures appear, he looked to his left but saw nothing, as he went to investigate a metal grappling hook flew past his face attaching to the wall and pulling them down.
Korra along with Tenzin ran out to the deck to see three men dressed with red masks using fire as rockets for their feet as they flew along with a metal grappling hook attached to the airship as they pulled them away from the earth palace.
Korra noticed this and said, "There fire bending and metal bending!? " Tenzin was just as shocked as Korra and said, "What is happening? " Korra shook her head and said, "They're steering us away from the palace, we need to get them off now! "
Tenzin nodded as he shot air at them to blow them away but they only dodged easily, so Korra jumped off the airship shocking Tenzin but she used air bending as a current to lift herself up, she then flew towards the masked men and immediately kicked one away as she shot fire at the other two, they dodged and used coordinated attacks against her.
One of them shot fire at her while the other earth bended the ground below her, sending her into someone's house.
"Sorry! " Korra yelled as she got back up on the roof as she saw they were bringing the airship down, and very close to the ground.
"No! If they bring it down everyone's gonna die! " Korra yelled as she then went into the avatar state and flew after the men much faster again.
As one of the masked men was dodging Tenzin's attacks while bringing down the airship, he was kicked in the back by Korra sending him away and taking his grip off the airship, Korra then knocked him out with an earth fist.
She then earth bended the ground below the other masked man and sent him into the air, she then did a somersault and sent him down hard with an air kick, knocking him out.
As she was about to exit the avatar state she felt a presence behind her and kicked away one of the masked men creeping up behind her, he shot multiple fireballs but Korra dodged easily, she then trapped in an earth cell as Mako, Bolin and Lin all jumped out the airship, Lin then walked over to the masked man and removed his mask, revealing his face.
He looked like you're average every other guy in the earth kingdom, Lin then said, "Who sent you! "
The man shook his head a couple times as his eyes were disoriented, he then looked at Lin and said, "What are you talking about? H-how'd I get here! "
Korra, now out of the avatar state walked over to him, "You and your buddies here tried to pull us away from seeing the earth king! "
"I don't know what you're talking about! Last thing I remember is walking home when some guys kidnapped me and made me wear that ridiculous mask. " The man said as he pointed his head to the mask in Lin's hand.
Lin checked to see if he was lying but, he wasn't, he was telling the full truth. "His story checks out, he isn't lying. "
Korra as well as everyone else were shocked, Mako then said, "Well we should question the other ones and see what they say. "
"Good idea Mako! Alright guys time to start yapp- and they're gone. " Bolin said, disappointed.
Korra looked at where she left the other two men to see they were nowhere to be seen, this made her angry as she yelled, "Dang it! They were our only lead to knowing more about this multiple bender guy! "
"Well looks like we'll have to keep investigating later, for now we should make our way back to the earth king. " Tenzin said, holding her shoulder as she nodded, they all got on board as Lin said, "I'll take this one to jail for questioning. "
They all nodded as they boarded the ship and flew towards the earth palace, what they didn't know was that the figure watched them and smiled then said, "Looks like I can have some more fun. "
The figure began to follow Lin.
