Like the last chapter, I do not own any LEGO Ninjago characters. I only own my characters.

I walked along the beach of my island, replaying in my mind what had happened a week before. The leaves on a tree rustled as something perched on it. I looked. A snow white owl stared at me with large, golden eyes. It looked like a cross between a great horned owl and a snowy owl. "Hello, Everest," I smiled. The owl hooted softly. I sighed. "Everest," I chided. "You know full well that there is nobody on this island but us."
"Okay, okay!" Everest smirked playfully. I walked over to a fairly large hut in the middle of the island. Around it was training equipment. I went inside and grabbed a jade green cloak.
"I am going to visit the ninja," I said as I put it on. I grabbed a face mask and a hat and put them on as well. "Do you want to come?"
"Of course I want to come!" Everest cried indignantly. "It's the only fun thing on this island." I rolled my eyes as I reached for a small bag. I reached inside and pulled out a sky blue berry. I threw it, and as soon as it made contact with the floor, a portal appeared. Everest hovered next to me, and I grinned.
"Ninjago, here we come," I said as I stepped through the portal.
Zane's POV
It's been a week since Jay and I saw the mysterious figure. We told the others, and they agreed that something was up, and although I no longer felt like being watched, I still felt uneasy. "You're sure that they just disappeared?" Kai asked. I nodded. "Talk about creepy," he said as he shuddered.
"Ooh, you're scared!" Jay screeched in mock delight.
"Am not!" Kai protested. "I just think that it's creepy that they just disappeared."
"Same here," Cole agreed.
"Guys," Lloyd said, slightly frustrated. "Does anyone have any idea who the person is?" Nobody answered. "I thought so."
"I think that they're a ghost," Jay said. "I mean, it's the only logical answer."
Not unless they can travel through dimensions I thought. "That does make sense," Lloyd admitted reluctantly.
"Guys," Nya said over the intercom. "Ninjago City is under attack-again-and it looks like they could use our help."
"We're coming, Sis!" Kai called eagerly. It seems that he didn't enjoy the research. We quickly dressed in our ninja gi and rushed outside. Nya was dressed in her water ninja gi and P.I.X.A.L was wearing her Samurai X gear. Nya turned to us.
"You guys ready?" she asked us.
"We're always ready!" Jay said.
"Except for that one incident with the electric chicken," Kai mumbled.
"I heard that!"
"Ninjago City is under attack, and you are arguing about an electric chicken?" I asked, confused. Kai's face turned as red as his gi, and Jay made a strangled sound of protest. Lloyd and Cole snickered, but poorly disguised them as coughs. Nya rolled her eyes and face palmed, and P.I.X.A.L looked just as confused as I was.
"Can we just go already?" Jay managed.
"Sure," Nya said as she tried not to laugh at her brother and boyfriend's embarrassment. We climbed into our vehicles and rushed to the city. When we got there, everything was chaos. People poured out into the street as an army made of some sort of slime invaded.
"Why is this city always under attack?" Cole muttered.
"Here's a better question: Why do people insist on living here?" Jay replied.
"If you two are done, we have an enemy to defeat," Nya snapped.
"Ninja, go!" we all yelled in unison as we spun around, making elemental tornadoes. The poor warriors disintegrated as soon as we touched them.
"MERGE!" a gruff voice shouted. Immediately, the remaining warriors started to merge together, making one giant glop monster. On top of the beast sat a tall figure. He must be the general. "ATTACK!" the general roared. As slime hit metal, the beast starting to shrink ever so slightly every time. The battle carried us all the way over to the sea, which we tricked the beast into falling into the water.
"Woo!" Cole cheered as he pulled off his mask. "Another enemy defeated!" Everyone started to smile and cheer. I felt something grab my leg, and pull me off the dock. I gripped the dock as a disoriented voice snarled, "If I fall, you fall."
"Zane!" P.I.X.A.L cried as she ran towards me. My fingers slipped, and I was pulled underwater. The last thing I remember was a bright light, and hitting my head onto something hard, before everything went black.
Lloyd's POV
We all stood in shock, P.I.X.A.L in mid lunge. One moment, Zane was standing beside me. The next moment, Zane was gone and a voice had growled something like, "I fall, you fall." P.I.X.A.L collapsed onto her knees and began sobbing. This is all my fault I thought. If I hadn't let my guard down, or if I'd been faster, I could've saved Zane. "Nya," I croaked. "Can you try to find Zane?"
"On it," she said as she threw her arms out. The water exploded, but nothing came with it. "Nothing," Nya said in and awed voice. "It's like he just disappeared."
"So is that a good thing or a bad thing?" Jay asked.
"It's a bad thing, Jay," I grunted. "This means that our search for Zane just became harder."
"Oh," he said as his cheeks became red. "I knew that." Someone snorted.
"Yeah, right," Cole retorted.
"You guys," I said as I stepped in between them. "Now is not the time to fight.
"Lloyd's right," Kai said. "Zane wouldn't approve of this." Jay sighed.
"I'm sorry, Lloyd," he said as he pulled at his hair. "It's just...We were right here and we couldn't do anything." My expression softened.
"It's okay," I said. "I feel the same way."
"How about we stop mourning over Zane and actually do something to find him!" Nya screamed. Kai flinched.
"Okay, okay," He muttered as he straightened. "You don't have to yell, Sis."
"Oh, really?" Nya said huffily. "If I didn't, you would still be standing here!" I put my hands up.
"How about we stop yelling at each other and find Zane?" I asked.
How did you liked the second chapter? Was it good?
Lloyd: Good? You made us loose Zane again!
Me: Excuse me? Excuse me?
Nya: Whatever happened to, 'How about we stop yelling at each other and find Zane'?
Lloyd:
Me: Why don't you start looking for him?
Kai: Let's go!
