The doors to the Horizon Way Hospital maternity ward swung open as a doctor wheeled Sapphire, who was in a wheelchair, inside and helped her onto the metal table with Lobo close behind, holding her hand.

"Hmm...Mm-hmm. It's seems impossible, but it looks like your baby girl ready to come out." Flick, the iguana doctor told them, scanning Sapphire's pregnant belly with the ultrasound wand before turning to the human and putting on his gloves.

"It's okay, honey!" Lobo assured her. "I've got you!"

Sapphire thought of Kyle as tears poured from her eyes, he would never get to see his baby girl be brought into the world and he was probably in heaven crying over the fact that his daughter would never see her daddy's face. She also thought to herself: "It's too early...It wasn't supposed to be this way..." But with determination, she decided that she desperately wanted to bring her and Kyle's child into the world, even if it ended up costing her own life.

"Lobo..." Sapphire whispered through the oxygen mask on her mouth and nose, turning her head to the gray wolf, "If I don't make it...promise me, you and Isabelle will take good care of her…"

Lobo placed a hand on Sapphire's cheek. "You know we will. But you're going to help us! We're all going to raise your and Kyle's beautiful child together, okay?"

"Of course…" Sapphire smiled.

Dr. Flick called for two bunny nurses. They put on their scrubs and masks and got the patient into position. Lobo had put on a mask as well and tightly held his partner's hand.

Sapphire let out a cry of pain and anguish as she began to push with a puddle of blood pouring onto the table.

Isabelle paced around the waiting room. She stiffened when she heard Sapphire's scream.

"What are they doing to her?!" Isabelle thought before shaking her head, "What am I thinking? I'm sure she's fine."

When Dr. Flick entered the room, the shitzu jumped out of her seat. "H-how's Sapphire? Is she still alive?!" she asked frantically.

The doctor laughed. "Sapphire has successfully given birth to a healthy baby girl and is going to be fine."

"A...a girl?!" Isabelle yelped, "Th-this is amazing! ...What does she look like?" She asked the iguana doctor.

Flick managed to calm Isabelle down before explaining, "The baby girl is a little wolf pup who has light brown fur with dark brown accents in areas such as around her snout and Sapphire's brown eyes."

A large, toothy grin painted itself across Isabelle's face as a wave of relief washed over her. "Oh! That is so great!" She cried.

"I'm glad to hear that you feel that way." Dr. Flick told the young shitzu, "now if you'll excuse me, I have to go check on baby Hope in the nursery." he said before walking away.

Isabelle was about to make her way to Sapphire Lobo's room to go congratulate them when she was suddenly stopped by an ill-tempered cry of: "Wait!"

The shitzu then turned around to see Sonic running towards her before skidding to a halt. "Well, hello!" She greeted, "what brings you to Horizon Way Hospital? ...And why were you running so fast?"

Sonic paused to take a breath before explaining what he saw back at the apartment, which caused Isabelle's eyes to go wide. "So, what you're saying is...a fox named Swiper had spiked Sapphire's Coke Zero with oxytocin which had caused her to go into premature labor and now he's probably uploading a video of what he had done onto YouTube?" She asked.

"Yes, M'am." Sonic replied, nodding his head. "That's why I came here."

This had caused Isabelle's face to become red with rage. "Nobody messes with my friend her partner and gets away with it!" She growled. She had seen Swiper do many insane things over the years, but this took the cake. "Doesn't he know that stealing something from a hospital and drugging an innocent woman is against the law?!"

Sonic then proceeded to call the police as Isabelle made her way to Sapphire and Lobo's room to inform them about what had happened back at the apartment.
