2 Weeks and 6 Days Till Coronation

~Auradon Prep~

It was a beautiful day in Auradon. The sun was shining, the band was getting ready to play upon the arrival of new students and Ben was anxious at the fact of his missing co-conspirator.

Prince Ben was standing in front of Auradon Prep with a short woman in an outfit of entirely pale blue and a pink bow known as Headmistress Fairy Godmother, and a brunette girl his age with tanned skin who so happened to be his girlfriend Audrey, Daughter of Sleeping Beauty.

He was looking for the last of their party. 'Where is she? She was supposed to be back by now. I hope she gets here soon. She wouldn't want to miss this. This has been a lot of work in the making and needs to go smoothly.' Audrey notices his frequent searching looks and rolls her eyes.

"Benny-boo she's not coming. Probably came to her senses about this being a bad idea!"

Ben sighs. "Audrey, I know something probably just caused her to be late. She's almost more excited about this than I am." She rolled her eyes again.

"Why did you even invite her to come? She has nothing to do with this." Ben smirked.

'You have no idea.'

Then the limo containing the new students pulls up in front of the school and the band that's playing to the relief of the soon-to-be king.

'Saved by the limo.'

When the driver of the limo opened the door. The body of a curly frost haired boy who was decked out in red, black and white, known as Carlos De Vil, Son of Cruella De Vil, tumbled out and so happened to be wrestling with the perfect example of a ruffian. The other boy had long hair under a knit-cap, wearing maroon and a gold-like color leather outfit. It was Jay, Son of Jafar, they were both fighting over what seemed to be a blue towel.

Carlos gave a sharp scream as he and Jay, who firmly planted his foot on the smaller boy's chest, fought over the towel, "Stop! You got everything else, why do you want whatever this is?!"

Jay tugged harder on the piece of cloth, "'Cause you want it!"

During the boys skirmish, two girls also emerged from the limo. The first was a blue haired beauty, with red lips and an outfit matching her hair named Evie, Daughter of the Evil Queen. The other was ivory skinned, had purple hair, green eyes and an outfit matching both, named Mal, Daughter of Maleficent.

By now the band had stopped playing. From the sea of yellow and blue of the band, emerged Fairy Godmother and Audrey who were shocked and Ben who was trying not to laugh at the scene.

"Guys, guys!" Mal hissed to her male counterparts that had not stopped fighting. "We have an audience."

Jay grinned at the older woman innocently, "Just cleanin' up!" However, neither the boys relinquished their hold of the towel. Jay reached down and tugged Carlos to his feet with a gruff, "Get up."

"Leave it like you found it," the Fairy Godmother said in a sing-songy voice, a smile plastered on her face. "And by that I mean, just leave it." Jay then threw the things in his arms back into the limo, including the towel.

Jay then strutted forward to Audrey with a sultry smile, "Hello, foxy." He then crossed his arms with a look of smoulder, "The name's Jay." Audrey gave a strained laugh in return.

"Welcome to Auradon Prep," Fairy Godmother continued unhindered, the same smile in place. "I'm Fairy Godmother, Headmistress."

"The Fairy Godmother? As in," Mal gave a twirling wand motion, "bibbidi-bobbidi-boo?"

"Bibbidi-bobbidi-you know it."

"Yeah," Mal spoke once more, "I always wondered what it felt like for Cinderella when you just appeared out of nowhere!" The purple-haired female produces a laugh, "Ya know, with that sparkly wand, warm smile," Fairy Godmother tilted her head with said smile on, "and that sparkly wand."

"That was a long time ago," Fairy Godmother said in response. "As I always say, 'Don't focus on the past or you'll miss the future.'" She added in a hand gesture with her quote.

Finally Ben stepped forward, "It's so good to finally meet you all." He gave a solid nod, "I'm Ben."

"Prince Ben," Audrey added quickly. "Benjamin, soon to be king!" The princess finished excitedly.

"You had me at prince." Evie stepped forward gracefully. "My mom's a queen, which makes me a princess." As a finishing touch she gave a curtsy and Ben bowed a little back.

"The Evil Queen has no royal status here," Audrey said with a fake smile as she shook her head, "and neither do you." Evie backed away with a glare.

"This is Audrey." Ben introduced, hoping to clear the tension.

"Princess Audrey," She interrupted again. "His girlfriend!" Audrey gave him a pointed look, "Right, Benny-Boo?"

'Would you please stop calling me that?!'

Fairy Godmother looked between the couple before looking back at the villains' children, "Ben and Audrey are gonna show you around, and I'll see you tomorrow." The brunette headmistress broke apart Ben and Audrey's locked hands in a grandiose manner, "The doors of wisdom are never shut! But the library hours are from eight to eleven and as you may have heard I have a thing about curfews." With that, the Fairy Godmother took her leave with the school band following suit.

Once they were gone, Ben took the opportunity to greet each transfer individually with a handshake, starting with Jay. "It is so, so good to finally," before even trying to shake his hand, Jay punched the prince's chest in greeting instead, causing Ben to falter slightly, "meet you." The teen moved on to Mal and shook her hand, not noticing he was staring at the pale girl for an extended period of time. 'I finally get to meet you in person.'

Prince Ben quickly gathered himself and moved on, "This is a momentous occasion." He shook Carlos's hand, "And one that I hope will go down in history." Ben noticed some chocolate on his hand from the tanned boy and glanced back up to the freckled lad, "Chocolate?" Carlos gave no reply other than licking off the remainder of the sweet treat on his hand. The prince then moved onto Evie, "As the day our two peoples began to heal."

"Or the day you showed four people where the bathrooms are." Mal commented wittily.

Ben gave a chuckle, "A little bit over the top?"

"Little more than a little bit."

Ben gave a winning smile, "Well, so much for my first impression," and they proceeded to share a laugh between each other.

"Hey!" Audrey said in an attempt to break the pair's banter. "You're Maleficent's daughter, aren't you? Yeah, you know what, I totally do not blame you for your mother trying to kill my parents and stuff!" Mal gave a look to the pink puff in front of her. "Oh, my mom's Aurora, Sleeping-"

"Beauty!" The purplette finished for her. "Yeah, I've heard the name." She then decided to play along with Audrey's game, "Yeah, I totally do not blame your grandparents for inviting everyone in the whole world, but my mother to their stupid christening."

"Water under the bridge?"

"Toats!"

They both shared some fake laughter and an awkward silence descended on the group.

'Soooooo... smooth… so far. Right… yeah not if they're around each other much longer.' Ben clapped his hands, "Okay! How about a tour, yeah?"

The prince then gestured his arms to the school, "So, Auradon Prep was a part of King Beast's castle that was originally built over 300 years ago and was later converted into a high school when my father became King of Auradon itself."

They soon arrived at a statue of King Beast himself. Carlos gazed at it questioningly just as Ben gave a clap of his hands, changing the statue of a man to a statue of a beast, which scared the living daylights out of the small teen. The prince turned his attention to the boy when he heard a scream and gave a laugh when he saw Carlos in the arms of Jay,

"Carlos, it's okay," Ben reassured the boy, "My father wanted his statue to morph from beast to man to remind us that anything is possible."

"Does he shed much?" Mal asked.

"Yeah, mom won't let him on the couch," Ben joked back with a completely straight face.

Mal gave Ben a sarcastic smile for the joke.

They all continued on as Jay put Carlos back on the ground. The white haired boy stared at the statue and gave a clap, which gained no response from the statue. He then continued on, a little more timidly than the others.

~Entrance Hall~

They soon reached the inside of the building, which was beautifully lit and decorated in white, gold, and blue paint, along with some tapestries. "So, you guys got a lot of magic here in Auradon?" Mal spoke, "Ya know, like wands and stuff like that?"

"Yeah, it exists of course," Ben replied, "but it's pretty much retired. Most of us here are just ordinary mortals."

"Who happen to be kings and queens."

"Which is true!" Aurora's daughter added in. She drew Ben's arm around her, "Our royal blood goes back hundreds of years." The two shared a laugh, when suddenly they heard shoes hitting the tile and the group turned towards the noise.

Running into the room was a girl. She's 16 years old with olive skin, dark black hair that went to her waist, and deep brown eyes. She was dressed in a red midriff shirt with white flowers on it, jean shorts, hiking boots and wearing a charm bracelet.

She was not what they were expecting when arriving in Auradon.

"Sorry I'm late! Stitch got a hold of some Kohana coffee and went completely crazy this morning. He also destroyed my phone and ate the keys to the hovercraft. Did I miss anything?"

Mal spoke up. "Just our tour of the bathrooms."

The girl laughs and turns to the future king. "I told you it was a bit much, but did you listen to me. Nooooooo." She laughs again. Ben blushes a little at the tease, then clears his throat.

"You still have to introduce yourself, you know."

She facepalms. "Right! I forgot. Aloha! My name is Lilo Pelekai and I'm from Kauai, Hawaii. My personal mission in life is to teach people about Elvis, be a good ambassador for Earth in the U.G.F and run A.L.O.H.A. It's a real pleasure to meet you and I would love to learn more about you if you're willing to talk to me."

Audrey scoffs behind her. "Will you drop it with the whole ambassador thing? We know it's a sham and it's getting old."

Ben subtly stands back and steps closer to the VK's.

Lilo takes a deep breath. "Shut it Miss I-think-I'm-perfect."

"I don't think. I know I'm perfect."

"Perfectly annoying." Lilo says under her breath.

"What was that?"

Lilo just smiles innocently. Mal says behind her. "I think I like her."

Audrey gets closer to Lilo, "Why don't you drop the 'Anyone can be good' routine and get real. That doesn't happen."

"It does too! Stitch was meant to be evil, but now he's my best friend." Another scoff from Audrey.

"If I had found that fur ball, I would have put him down." Ben gulps and the VK's look at him.

"This isn't good."

Lilo freezes for a moment and then looks at the VK's and Ben. "I apologize that this is how you're introduced to Auradon." She reels back a fist and punches Audrey in the face, which knocks her out cold. She then turns back to her audience.

Jay is trying not to laugh with Carlos right behind him.

Evie is nodding impressed, while Ben is pretending he didn't see anything and Mal just smirked before saying.

"Okay. It's official. I like you."

Lilo shakes her head. "I'm sorry. Where were we?"

Ben clears his throat. "You were going to show them to their dorms after Doug shows up with their class schedules."

Lilo nods. "Right! So where is he?"

"Doug!" exclaimed Ben as he steps around Audrey. "Doug, come down." He puts a hand on Doug's shoulder. "This is Doug. He's going to help you with your class schedules and then Lilo will show you the rest of the dorms." He walked back next to Audrey, picked her up in a bridal carry and looked at Mal. "I'll see you later, okay? And if there is anything you need, feel free to ask any of us." He nods in their direction and heads to the infirmary to drop off Audrey.

"Hi, guys," Doug greeted, "I'm Dopey's son. As in Dopey, Doc, Bashful, Happy, Grumpy, Sleepy, and..." He trailed off after he spotted Evie. "Heigh-ho..."

"Evie," she introduced flirtatiously while sauntering up to him, "Evil Queen's daughter."

Lilo starts giggling at the interaction.

It took a minute (and Lilo snapping her fingers in his face) for the love-struck dope to come out of his haze, "Okay. So about your classes, I, uh, put in the requirements already - History of Woodsmen and Pirates, Safety Rules for the Internet, and, uh, Remedial Goodness 101."

"Let me guess," said Mal, before eating the candy in her hand, "New class?" Doug answered her with a nod, but Lilo shrugged.

"It's mostly just to appease the school board. I don't think it's necessary. Just consider it an extra time to study or do homework."

Mal nods. "Come on, Guys, Let's go find our dorms." And up the stairs they went. Even though it was the wrong way.

"Hey, guys," Lilo called out to them. When they turned to her, She pointed to the stairs behind her, "It's this way."

The VK's exchanged looks and followed her.

~Dorm Hallway~

When they got close to the rooms Lilo started explaining the layout. "The dorms are down the next couple hallways, and you guys were given the rooms on the left side of the building. There are no inspections, but if there are suspicious noises someone will investigate. Otherwise you're just given a dorm and there you have it. Girls and guys do not share rooms, but you can visit each other's rooms during the day. Curfew is midnight, which is stupid, but there is not a lights out time. So, that's good."

The last sentence made them chuckle at the joke. Suddenly Mal was right next to Lilo.

"So, who are your folks?" she asked.

Lilo hesitates a second. "My parents died when I was six. They went for a drive and it started raining." She answered. They gave her looks of surprise. "Why do you ask?"

Mal continues, "Well who's the good guy in your story?"

Lilo gets it. "Ooooh. You mean how am I here?" Mal nods. "Well I guess my best friend Stitch and I are the heroes in my story." They once again give her looks of shock. "Why don't I get you to the guys dorm and then I'll explain." They nod and continue to follow her.

She leads them further down the hall and opens the door. "This is your room. You can choose your bed and make the room your own. Just don't paint the walls." She then hands Carlos the key. "This is your key. If you lose it, tell someone immediately. They'll let you in and possibly change your lock. I know in your guys case that probably doesn't matter, but I'm telling you anyway. Don't want Ben to think I'm a bad tour guide, do we?"

That gets a chuckle out of them. Carlos speaks up, "So... are you gonna tell us the story?"

Lilo nods and gestures for them to take a seat.

"Like I told you, when I was six my parents died in an accident. Well my older sister Nani became my guardian. We were struggling with our loss, with money, and with each other. Anyway one night I made a wish on what I thought was a falling star. It turns out it was a spaceship containing an alien fugitive, who later became my best friend Stitch."

"Stitch was an experiment in genetics. He can lift 3,000 times his own weight, is extremely intelligent, indestructible, and has enhanced senses. He was designed to be drawn to large cities, cause chaos, turn street signs and steal everyone's left shoe." This got a brief chuckles from her audience.

"He was created by a mad scientist named Dr. Jumba Jookiba. His laboratory was raided by the Galactic Federation's police force, and he was arrested and Stitch was seized as the product of illegal genetic experimentation. When Stitch was given the opportunity to prove that given the chance, he could be a productive and civilised member of society, He failed miserably."

This gets another laugh and a couple smirks.

"He succeeded in escaping custody, and crashed his ship on Earth, where he was taken to an animal shelter where I adopted him. He became part of our Ohana and Stitch learned that there were other things in life besides chaos and destruction, and the Galactic Federation decided that it would be better for him to stay with us, given our positive influence on him."

Evie awwwws at this. "That's so sweet.

"Yep! So he's been on Earth ever since. Along with Jumba who was released from prison in order to capture his experiment and Earth expert Agent Pleakley of the U.G.F, both also became part of our Ohana along with all of Stitch's cousins."

Jay raises an eyebrow. "Stitch has cousins. I thought he was created by this Jumba guy?"

"He was, but Stitch was experiment number 626. The other 625 experiments have also proven themselves to be good and have been shown to the one true place where they belong. Most of which are in my hometown; though there are a few are in other places. They all live happy lives and are free to go wherever they want."

"Where is Stitch?"

"Stitch is still at home. I wanted him to come with me, but between our responsibilities at home and the number of royals here who don't like him. We agreed he'd be safer there. Ben was actually disappointed when Stitch couldn't come, but it was the better option."

Mal chuckles, "How do you know Ben so well? You sound close."

"The King and Queen went on vacation to Hawaii and brought Ben along. We were both 10 I think." Lilo shakes her head. "Anyway, he and I met while on the beach. We were just building sand castles and talking when Stitch came up. Now normally this is when people would call us freaks or scream, but Ben just treated him like he was normal and we became best friends after that. After he went home, we wrote each other and called all the time. He was actually the one to get me invited here. I also helped him set up his proclam-" She quickly covers her mouth, while the VK's look at her in shock.

Mal speaks first. "What do you mean-"

Lilo gets out of her seat quickly and drops the girls key onto the table. "I didn't say that and you didn't hear it." She looks at a fake watch. "Oh look at the time! I gotta go! That's the key to the girls dorm, the numbers on it, that's it… bye!" Then she runs out of the room and the door shuts with a slam.

Jay gets up and is at the door in seconds. He sees Lilo round the corner. "Wait Lilo!" He starts after her with Carlos on his heels and the girls not far behind.
