On Tuesday afternoon once school finished the PAW Patrol & their friends headed to the Lookout where they used the portal device to allow themselves to get to San Francalico. Hawkwerk, Logan, Monty & Suzan were all in the lab waiting for them.
"It's good to see you all again. How have you been today?" asked Hawkwerk with a smile.
"We had an average day at school. Was it the same for you?" asked Colby in a curious voice.
"I guess so. There weren't any unusual occurrences" said Logan as he shrugged.
"So what's the plan for this afternoon?" asked Constance in an uncertain tone.
"We're going to the HQ of an organization we're part of called H.E.A.R.T.S" said Monty with an eager grin.
"What does H.E.A.R.T.S stand for?" asked Elias as he tilted his head in confusion.
"It's an acronym for Heroic Emergency Animal Rescue Tactical Squadron. It's an organization where members help out in various missions using martial arts, gadgets, superpowers & other special abilities. I figure you guys can meet some of our allies who are also part of the organization" said Suzan.
"That sounds awesome. I'm ready to go" said Kelly in an enthusiastic manner.
"Show us the way" said Ryder as everyone left the lab. As they walked through the Hinyanko residence they saw how big & glamorous it was.
"Wow this house is huge. I bet it's just as big if not bigger than Elias' mansion" said Chase in amazement.
"You said it. Every room in here is designed beautifully" said Marshall.
"I'm glad you guys like it" said Hawkwerk with a proud smile.
"Do you 4 have this whole place to yourselves?" asked Rocky.
"No there are just over 80 of us who live under 1 roof together" said Logan as he shook his head.
"Woah that's a lot of people" said Rubble in an astonished voice.
"Each of us has our own bedroom which makes it less cramped. This is easily 1 of if not the biggest buildings in San Francalico" said Monty.
"I don't doubt that. Do you think we could meet everyone else who lives here later?" asked Skye in a curious tone.
"I don't see why not. I bet they'll all be impressed by how capable you guys are in high pressure situations" said Suzan in a confident manner.
"You know it. I look forward to showing you guys our prowess" said Zuma as everyone left the Hinyanko residence. As they walked to H.E.A.R.T.S HQ they spotted lots of anthropomorphic animals & humans. The anthropomorphic animals ranged in species including cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, mammals & everything else in between.
"There are so many different anthropomorphic animals here. I bet there's at least 1 of every species" said Kendall in fascination.
"You definitely don't see anything like this on Earth" said Kennedy with a nod of agreement.
"Other than the fact that anthropomorphic animals exist here this planet is more or less like a 2ND Earth" said Kenneth.
"I see what you mean. In a way it's like we've never left Earth. If everyone else back home was here they wouldn't believe what they saw" said Melissa as everyone continued walking. Soon they arrived at H.E.A.R.T.S HQ. They went inside & approached the front desk.
"Hello & welcome to H.E.A.R.T.S HQ. What can I do for you today?" asked the receptionist seated at the front desk.
"We have some friends here with exceptional skills that we wish to show around. Is that OK?" asked Hawkwerk.
"I don't have any issues with that. Here are some guest passes for you" said the receptionist as she gave guest passes to the PAW Patrol & their friends. Once they'd been given their guest passes they began the tour of H.E.A.R.T.S HQ. There were many different areas & rooms including a training dojo, cafeteria, gym, briefing rooms, infirmary, sports stadium, swimming pool, lockers, change rooms, file cabinets & office cubicles among other facilities. Everyone was amazed at how sophisticated the entire building was.
"This building is super efficient. There are so many different things to do here" said Angel in an impressed voice.
"It's kind of like an office building, recreation centre & military base all in 1" said Cinnamon.
"How many people are members of H.E.A.R.T.S?" asked Ronald.
"I don't know exactly how many there are but I'd estimate there are 100's if not 1000's of members in total" said Hawkwerk.
"Each member of H.E.A.R.T.S is highly skilled & trained in different things. We always make sure to train & work hard" said Logan with a proud grin.
"The missions we go on often have us dealing with some pretty dangerous groups & individuals. Any type of criminal you can think of we've probably dealt with at 1 point or another" said Monty.
"Now that we've shown you guys around I figure we can put you guys to the test in order to see what you're capable of. Let's get down to business" said Suzan as everyone headed to the gym. The PAW Patrol & their friends began training through a series of fitness tests that focused on strength, speed, agility, balance, endurance, reflexes, reaction time, teamwork & courage. The tests included lifting as much weight as possible, running from 1 marker to another in the fastest possible time, weaving through cones as quickly as possible, balancing on narrow perches, staying in a given stance for as long as possible, dodging projectiles thrown at them, hitting targets upon a given signal, moving weighted boxes from 1 point to another by passing them to each other along the way & leaping across a big gap between 2 platforms positioned a few meters above the ground. Although the individual results for each test varied among everyone they all performed decently well.
"Well done guys. I think you've all got exceptional talent" said Hawkwerk.
"I actually think they'd make excellent recruits for H.E.A.R.T.S" said Logan in an eager tone.
"That's actually not a bad idea. We could help train them into becoming an unstoppable force" said Monty with a confident smile.
"Let's make it official" said Suzan as everyone was taken to the recruitment area. Once there the PAW Patrol & their friends were given special outfits, communication devices, booklets & brochures about the training process & regulations related to it, journals, training gear, personal files, protective equipment, schedules & timetables for events & briefings & their own lockers to store everything in. After they'd been given their stuff the PAW Patrol & friends were made official recruits receiving badges indicating their status.
"You're now all official recruits of H.E.A.R.T.S. Welcome aboard" said Hawkwerk with a welcoming smile.
"This is awesome. I bet we'll get to do all kinds of cool stuff here" said Elias in an excited manner.
"You bet. Today marks a new adventure for us" said Kelly.
"It's important we make the most of every opportunity we have to work & train hard. The more effort we put in the stronger we'll get" said Ryder in confidence.
"You guys can begin your training tomorrow. We'll help you out with everything you need to know" said Logan in a reassuring voice.
"Shall we return home & introduce everyone to the other Hinyanko family members?" asked Monty.
"The sooner the better" said Suzan as everyone left H.E.A.R.T.S HQ. As they walked home they heard a scream nearby.
"That didn't sound good" said Colby with a nervous gulp.
"We better go see what's happening" said Constance as everyone went to investigate. They soon found a female anthropomorphic poodle with pink & purple fur & green & purple tentacles wearing a pink dress & matching shoes struggling with a male anthropomorphic canine with grey fur.
"SOMEBODY HELP. HE'S TRYING TO RAPE ME" cried the female.
"Shut up you little slut. Nobody's coming to your rescue" said the male as he pinned the female against a wall.
"LET HER GO YOU CREEP" yelled Monty as he clenched his fists in anger.
"Piss off jerk. This doesn't involve you" said the male with a scowl.
"If you don't let her go I'll break every bone in your body" said Monty in a blunt tone.
"I'd like to see you try. Come at me asshole" said the male as he smirked arrogantly. Monty growled & ran forward. The male released the female to turn his attention to Monty. Monty tackled the male to the ground & punched him in the face repeatedly before using his tentacles to restrain the male. Electricity then surged out of Monty's tentacles electrocuting the male to the point he was rendered unconscious. After defeating the male Monty walked over to the female.
"Are you OK my dear lady?" asked Monty in a concerned manner.
"I am now that you fended off that rapist jerk. Thank you so much. I'm forever grateful for your bravery & heroism" said the female as she hugged Monty.
"You're most very welcome. I'm Monty. What's your name?" asked Monty.
"My name is Montana Mayfield. Nice to meet you" said Montana with a cheerful smile.
"Do you want to come with us? You'll be safer with us" said Monty in reassurance.
"Good idea. Being with you will reduce the chances of being attacked again" said Montana as she joined everyone else in heading back to the Hinyanko residence.
"I feel so lucky to have been rescued. That attack was quite possibly the scariest thing I've ever experienced" said Montana with a sigh of relief.
"There was no way I was about to let a pretty lady like you get hurt. You don't deserve to be treated badly by anyone" said Monty in a flirtatious voice.
"You're such a sweetheart. I must admit you're quite handsome" said Montana as she kissed Monty on the cheek.
"I do take pride in looking my best. Maybe later the 2 of us can spend some time together. You're the kind of girl who deserves all the affection & love from a guy" said Monty with a wink. Montana blushed & giggled as she held Monty's hand & smiled.
"This is the 1ST time in a while I've seen Monty succeed in winning over a girl" said Logan in a surprised tone.
"I take it he's not exactly the best with dating & relationships?" asked Elias in a curious manner.
"No not really. When he tries chatting up girls he'll do or say something that'll piss them off & turn him away almost 99% of the time. There have only been a select few girls he's ever really succeeded with but they've never evolved into any serious relationships. Let's see if he can make it work with Montana" said Suzan with an amused chuckle.
"I think he's a wonderful guy. I look forward to spending time with him" said Montana in excitement.
"You said it sweetheart. I promise to show you love in a way that'll make you feel like the queen of Anthropod 12" said Monty as everyone continued walking. Soon they arrived back at the Hinyanko residence. Upon going inside the rest of the Hinyanko family were called to the foyer. To the amazement of the PAW Patrol & their friends a large group of anthropomorphic animals & humans emerged.
"This is the entire Hinyanko family. Everyone these are the PAW Patrol & their friends. They're from Earth" said Hawkwerk as everyone introduced themselves.
"I've never seen a family this big before" said Elias in an amazed voice.
"Me either. This has to be a world record of some kind" said Kelly with a nod of agreement.
"You can't deny it's also 1 of if not the most diverse families as well" said Ryder.
"The PAW Patrol & their friends are now the newest recruits of H.E.A.R.T.S. They're going to be of great help in future missions" said Hawkwerk as he smiled proudly.
"I bet Uncle Logan, Uncle Monty & mum will train them well" said a young girl resembling Suzan.
"Are you Suzan's daughter?" asked Angel.
"I sure am. Gatorita's my name. Suzan adopted me after helping to fend off a group of horrible boys who are known as bullies at my school" said Gatorita with a nod.
"You look almost exactly like Suzan" said Cinnamon in an astonished tone.
"It's like they're 1 & the same" said Ronald in a fascinated manner.
"A lot of people feel the same way. I couldn't ask for a better mother" said Gatorita as she gave Suzan a hug.
"Should we get back home? I hope nobody's afraid that we're not there" said Colby in uncertainty.
"I guess we should get going. Do we need to be here at a certain time tomorrow?" asked Constance.
"I suggest you come tomorrow morning. That way you'll be able to get more training done" said Hawkwerk.
"We'll make sure to arrange that. Seeing as it's a school day tomorrow for us & likely you guys as well we'll have to sort out a way to excuse ourselves from class" said Elias.
"Tonight we're all going to need a good night's sleep. We want to be feeling our best during training tomorrow" said Kelly with a grin.
"Let's get back home. See you guys tomorrow" said Ryder as the PAW Patrol & their friends used the portal device to return to Adventure Bay. Once they got back they headed home to get some rest. The evening went by as usual with everyone eating dinner, watching TV & bathing/showering before heading to bed. They were eager to start training as recruits of H.E.A.R.T.S.
"Tomorrow's going to be an intense day. I have a feeling we're going to be pushed to our limits so that we can show everyone how strong we are. If I tell Principal Summers that me, the PAW Patrol & our friends are going to be busy with a special assignment only we know the details of she'll excuse us from class without any suspicion. Together with all our abilities & skills we'll be an unstoppable force that evildoers won't be able to defeat" thought Elias as he went to sleep.
