South didn't hear anyone break into her house. She didn't hear footsteps moving through the room. She didn't hear anyone enter her bedroom. She woke up when hands grabbed her. Before she could scream, she was gagged with some sort of fabric. A bag was placed over her head, and her wrists secured behind her back with a strip. Arms yanked her up and dragged her through the house.
She was placed in the back seat of a car with a man next to her while someone else was driving. None of them spoke any words during the drive. She tried counting the seconds and listening for any familiar sounds but she quickly had to give up.
Eventually the car stopped. She was dragged out of it. She heard some sort of gate close behind her. She was pushed to her knees. Someone cut the strip holding her hands together on her back. She pulled the hood off and then the gag before she looked next to her. Four other women were there, getting out of their hoods and gags as well.
She turned her face forward to see three men in black military clothes. It wasn't hard to figure out that two of them had gathered the women one by one while the third one had stayed behind and watched them as they were delivered. Who had been in her home didn't matter. What mattered right now was how to get away from these psychopaths.
"Welcome," one of the men said.
South knew that voice. She had heard it on the phone. Rollins, if she remembered correctly.
"My name is Seth Rollins. You all spoke with me on the phone. I told you it would happen today so you can't really be all that surprised," he continued. "And these two big guys here are Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. All of us are men you don't wanna dance with but you're going to."
"Please, let us go," one of the women piped up.
All three men smirked at the sound of her voice. Seth looked at her before speaking her name.
"Zelina," he looked at the other women one by one. "Charlotte, Ember, Kairi and South."
South studied the other women as their names were being mentioned. They were all very different to look at. These men didn't have a type. They just picked whoever called them. If this was about killing people, it was a smart move. Serial killers were harder to catch if they didn't have a type they preyed on.
"What are you gonna do to us?" Kairi asked.
"We're gonna teach you how to fight," Roman said.
His dark voice sent shivers down every woman's spine.
"They're scared of you," Dean laughed.
"They should be," Roman said.
"There's only one way out of here," Seth said.
Seth held up a big hunting knife. All the women gasped at the sight. The fear suddenly became much stronger. He threw it down on the ground in front of him.
"If you can take that knife and convince me you'll use it on me, you'll be let go," he said.
He looked from woman to woman for a long minute.
"No one?" He asked. "See, this is why you're here. You all choose to be victims."
He picked up the knife and walked over to a glass box that stood on top of a short, black pillar. He placed the knife inside the box and locked it before walking back to his two brothers in arms. The golden key belonging to the glass cage disappeared down in his pocket.
"The offer of the knife will stand for as long as you're here. Other than that, you're gonna have to fight. There will be punishment delivered to those who denies. But first thing first. You can't fight in your sleeping clothes. Roman, Dean, show these ladies where they can change their clothes," he said.
Roman and Dean stepped towards the women.
"You can't do this to us!" Ember yelled.
"We can and we will," Roman said.
"I suggest you get up before you anger any of us," Dean said.
South was on her feet first. She knew better than to try and fight against it. It was better to play along while getting to know the enemy. The other women looked at her and got up from the ground too. Roman held out his hand towards a building. They walked towards it and were escorted into a room where black military clothes in their sizes were waiting. The door closed behind them so they could change in privacy.
"What now?" Charlotte asked.
"Now we change our clothes," South answered.
"What are they gonna do to us?" Zelina asked.
"I don't know," South sighed. "But I know what they aren't gonna do. This isn't about anything sexual or they would be in here watching us change. I suggest we all play along for now until we figure out a solution. Don't let them break you."
