Chapter 2

Alec Lightwood

" JACE I NEED TO TALK TO YOU!" I screamed up at him. He only responded to me when people call him.

"What do you want?"

"It's important come down here!" He slowly walks down the stairs.

" Hurry up!" He started to jog down and soon he was at the bottom of the long staircase.

"So what is it Alec?"

"I saw Clary today..."

"Wait you saw Clary take me to get it at least where is she?"

"She was at Magnus's house."

"Why?"

"She has a kid named Emma she looks just puke her mom. Magnus is Clary's friend and he was watching over Emma."

"She has a kid?!" Jace said as he ran out of the house. I haven't seen him that excited for a long time. I followed him to make sure he doesn't cause any problems or get into a problem. I choose to drive for him because who knows how sober he is.

Wr arrived at Magnus's but Clary wasn't there anymore. Magnus told us that she left with Emma. So we asked him where she lived and I drive us there just to see that she left. Everything had been taken out of the place. ' Oh, no she must have left again will we be able to find her this time?'

Let's look at a map and see how far she could have gone."

"Can't we just track her using her phone?" Jace said eagerly.

"Great idea! How do we do that?"

"Pay someone to do it for us." He said it like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

I then searched up a good tracker and I drove to there office. Jace came in and asked the tracker for help to track Clary's phone.

"Who are you in need of tracking down?"

"Clarissa Fray or Morganstern, she changed her name so.."

"Clary? You know her?"

"Yeah do you?"

Of coarse she's a good friend. So why should I nettay her and tell you where she is?"

" She's going to leave again. We took 6 years to find her do really want to not be able to see her? Well we do! Alec got to see her I think I should as well!"

"Have you ever thought that she doesn't want you to find her? How do you know her anyway?"

"She's our best friend and we're her brothers' friend."

"Well, then why do you think she hasn't told her where she went as soon as you saw her she left?"

"What's your name?"

"Simon."

"Simon, just track for him us please I need to find her she has a kid that might be mine and I miss her so much. What will it take to convince you to let me know where Clary is?" I have never heard Jace beg like this before this moment he must really love Clary.

"That's all I really needed to know." He looks down and starts to track Clary down. " She is currently in Québec! Just don't tell her I told you where she is. Call me if you don't see her and I will look again since she might be on the move by the time you gat there." He said as he held out a paper with Clary's exact location on it. I hope that we are able to find her before she leaves the continent not just for my sake but for Jace's and for Jon's and Sebastian's.

We started the long drive to Québec.

We reached the location and saw an apartment building. In front of the apartment I saw the car that I had seen on the way out of my boyfriend's house. It must be Clary.

"That's Clary's car!" I say to Jace and he starts to run out of the car when put my arm out to stop and block him leaving the car.

" You need to relax she is going to be surprised you are here. So don't overwhelm her she or get angry especially at her. I'm going to text Jonathan and Sebastian."

I pull it my phone and I tell my friends that are like brothers that their sister is in Québec. They answer immediately.

J&S: Really, we will be right there! Make sure she stays there and send us the location.

Me: In Montreal Frontenac Street. You will see the car and Jace and I.

J&S: See you in a few

Me: Alright

J&S: Thanks for telling us!

Me: Of course you deserve to know. Oh, and can you tell tout mom I don't have her number in my contacts?

J&S: Yes definitely! She will be a happy to hear the news!

Me: Thanks guys! Bye

J&S: Bye Alec!

"Okay Jace, now her brothers know. I e should wait for them and make sure Clary doesn't see you or leave while we wait." And day as I put my phone back into my pocket.

Jace was sitting next to me waiting very impatiently. What he was doing was reminding me of a child. He was rocking back and forth on his car seat like he was a kid on a rocking chair. It was getting very annoying by the time 10 minutes had passed.

"Can you quit the rocking!"

"Mhmm" he said like his mind was elsewhere. Which it probably was. It was probably on a certain redhead. He still doesn't know that Emma is his child though.

If he did he would be showing no restraint right now. Clary will tell him when she's ready to. She has the right.

Speaking about Emma. Does she know she has a father? Or who it is? Probably not it didn't sound like she did during the short amount of time I had seen her and Clary today. I just need to keep Jace here a little longer because it's been hours since I had texted J&S.

J&S: We are close! We will be there in 10.

Me:Okay good. It's getting hard to keep Jace in the car.

I looked up to Jace wasn't in the car anymore.
