Bridgette and Angelica saw Nikki was disappointed.
"Nikki, are you okay?" Bridgette asked.
"Well...I wanna go to the dance with Brandon, but it's like we're both too shy to ask! You guys already have dates, and not me." Nikki's friends didn't know what to do. The next day it was the night of the dance. Bridgette was going with her boyfriend Geoff and Angelica was going with her boyfriend too. Bridgette and Angelica were picking up Nikki from her house.
"Guys, you don't have to do this!" Nikki said.
"Yes we do! You're going to that dance!" Angelica said and honked the horn.
"Okay, fine..!" Nikki got in with them. Then they drove to the school. When they got inside, Bridgette and Angelica started dancing with their dates while Nikki was looking for Brandon. Then she saw in the middle of the room, Brandon was dancing with Mackenzie, and he looked happy! Nikki ran out of the gym sobbing. Bridgette and Angelica saw and ran out too.
"What happened?! Brandon didn't reject you, did he?!" Bridgette asked.
"Not exactly...he was dancing with Mackenzie!" Nikki wiped her tears.
"Want us to drop you off?" Angelica asked, grabbing her car keys.
"Yeah..."
Before they got in the car, three girls starting running after them. "Wait, don't go yet!" They shouted.
