It was summer back then.
I woke up due to the loud noise outside our house. Rubbing my eyes I move out of my bed and took a peek outside through my window. I saw a big moving truck, unknown guys are unloading stuffs while being instructed by a couple. I looked around once more, and I noticed a boy looking confused and amazed watching their stuffs are being unloaded while holding a ball.
New neighbor I said to myself, feeling giddy i went out of my room without brushing my hair nor gargling.
I saw my parent on our front yard, watching our new neighbor. "Good morning, mom" I run towards my mom and she welcomed me with a hug.
"Good morning Eli, how's your sleep?" My mom asked while fixing my hair.
"I slept well mom, are they our new neighbors?" I asked while pouting to the our new neighbor's direction. My father picked me up "Yes sweetie, good morning!"
"Good morning Dad" I replied. "Do you know them?" I asked them further.
" Not yet sweetie, but we better say hello to them, as a welcome gesture" my father answerd. He put me down and held my hand as we walk towards our new neighbors house.
"Good morning! Welcome to ou lovely town, I'm Daniel" father introduced himself and extended his hands to the Old man" "and this is my wife Elise" my father said while pointing at my mom.
"And my daughter Elisha" he said as he pat my hair softly. "We live right accrose your yard, I hope we make good acquaintance" my father added.
"O hello! Thank you for your warm welcome." Mr said enthusiastically.
"I'm Soe jeon, you can call me Jun, this is my wife Beth" He introduce himself and his wife.
"This is my first born Jin hyung " he pointed the boy who's older than me. " and this is Min hyung" he gestured a young boy, the one I saw through my window.
I was hiding behind my father so peeked in order to see Min Hyung, I realized he's so cute.
He shyly smiled at me. I also shyly waved my hands and smiled and quickly hide behind my father.
"I believe my daughter and Min hyung is of the the same age" my mom mentioned, while pulling me in front of them.
" you're absolutely right" Ms Beth answered while gesturing Min hyung to come forward.
"Go on Min hyung say Hi" she encouraged her son.
Min hyung slowly walked towards me with a shy smile, he extended his hand. "Hi you can call me Mark!" He gleefully said.
Feeling encouraged I shook his hand " Hi! My friend call me Eli" I answered with a smile " you can be my friend" I added.
He laughed, which lead to both of our families laughing.
