Twenty five year old Red Stoley sat down on the couch and let out a puff of air. She and Kevin had gotten married about two years ago and now they're expecting a child anytime soon (and man, was it fucking heavy for her to carry around their kid). Kevin runs a store that sells graphic novels, audiobooks and novels (most of them were sci-fi related) while Red took over her father's bar shortly after he retired but she's currently on maternity leave.

"Hey there, stop. Your mommy needs her rest." Red giggled when she felt her baby kick.

Just then, she heard somebody open the front door, it was Kevin.

"Hey honey, how was your day?" Red greeted.

"Eh, it was fine. Some kid trashed my store by pulling out all of the comic books from their shelves and racks so I had to clean it all up. How are you and the baby doing?" Kevin replied.

"Both of us are doing fine. I'm just exhausted from cleaning the house while the baby's kicking an awful lot. Feel for yourself." Red giggled, placing her husband's hand on her bump.

"Wow, that's definitely a boy." Kevin guessed.

"How do you know our child will be a boy?" Red asked.

"Because boys are rough, I guess." Kevin replied.

"Well, I'm decently convinced that our child will be a girl." Red guessed.

"How about this: if our child is a boy, you get to name him but if our child is a girl, I get to name her?" Red betted her husband.

"Okay, the bet is on!" Kevin accepted.

"Oh!" Red exclaimed.

"What's wrong? Contractions? Is the baby coming?" Kevin slightly panicked.

"No, just a very hard kick." Red reassured.

She was nine months pregnant and she was due anytime soon. Kevin was worried for his wife so he constantly overreacted only for it to be a false alarm.

A couple of hours later, Kevin and Red were sitting on the couch and watching TV. Red sat there groaning in pain and rubbing her swollen stomach.

"Ugh. I don't feel so good, I think I need to rinse my face or something..." Red groaned as she got up from the couch and made.

"Go ahead." Kevin responded, still staring at the TV.

Red got up from the couch and walked into the bathroom. In there, she splashed cold water onto her face.

"Ah, much better." Red sighed.

As she dried her face off, a sharp pain hit her stomach.

"Ohhhh..." Red groaned as a trickle of water dripped down her right leg.

"K-K-Kevin..." she panicked.

Her husband came running into the bathroom to see what was going on.

"Is everything alright?" Kevin groggily asked.

"T-T-The baby's coming!" Red screamed.

Kevin's face went from tired to fully awake! His wife was now in labour! He took Red outside only for him to remember something.

"Hurry the fuck up!" Red snapped.

"I just remembered, I took my car to the auto repair shop for maintenance this afternoon. That's why I came home late, I had to walk home. Sorry but I can't drive you to the hospital." Kevin realized.

"You what?!" Red screamed.

"Can't you just put up with it until tomorrow?"

"No! If your car isn't available, then just carry me to the hospital!"

"Uh, that'll be too much work."

Luckily, Craig was driving home because he had to work overtime that day (because a bunch of his co-workers were ill) and he saw his cousin in distress. He drove over to her and her husband.

"Hey Red, need some help?" he offered.

"Cousin Craig!" Red exclaimed. "You have to take me to the hospital because Kevin dropped his car off at the auto repair shop!"

"Then get in the car and I'll drive you there." said Craig.

Without saying a word, Kevin put Red in the backseat and then got in the backseat along with her. Craig then got in the driver's seat and drove off once. As he did so, he started having flashbacks to when Tricia went into labour. He found the current situation comparable to that.

"Ahhhh! It hurts!" Red cried.

Kevin was fast asleep and Red's screams didn't wake him up.

"Kevin? Kevin, wake up!" Red snapped, shaking her husband awake.

"What? Oh, sorry. I'm just tired." Kevin apologized.

Craig eventually reached the hospital and drove into the drop off zone.

"Thanks Craig..." Red groaned.

"Don't mention it." Craig reassured.

There, Kevin got out of the car and carried Red inside. Once inside, the nurses took Red into the delivery room. Kevin waited outside, waiting for an "okay" from the doctor or one of the nurses.

"You may come it now." the doctor approved.

Kevin entered the room to find Red lying on the bed, ready to give birth.

"Okay Mrs. Stoley, just push and take deep breaths." the doctor ordered.

"Hold my hand, it hurts." Red begged.

Kevin reluctantly held out his hand for her to hold onto.

A couple of hours had passed and it was now 3:30AM but Red still had not delivered her baby yet.

"Ahhhhhh!" Red screamed.

She clutched her husband's hand and squeezed it extremely hard.

"Ow..." Kevin groaned.

"Alright, just one more push and your baby will be out." said the doctor.

"You said that like ten pushes ago!" Red shouted.

"I know but I'm sure this time. It has to be a big push though."

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!" Red screamed as she gave another big push.

The sound of a crying baby filled the room.

"Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Stoley, it's a girl." the doctor congratulated, holding a baby girl with dark red hair and green eyes.

He took the newborn girl to the delivery room, dried her up, examined her and gave handed her over to Red.

"Oh my god, she's so cute!" Red squealed.

"Since you won the bet, what will you name her?" Kevin asked.

"I was thinking about naming her Clarity, I've thought about this name ever since I found out that I was pregnant." Red suggested.

"Clarity? That sounds fitting for our girl. I'm not going to argue since like I said, I lost the bet." Kevin accepted.

Clarity began to cry. Red cradled her newborn daughter back to sleep.

"Easy, mommy's here." Red cooed. "Isn't she adorable when she sleeps? Kevin?"

Red looked over to see that her husband was leaning against the wall, fast asleep.

"Just sleep honey since everything is out of the way." Red smirked.

Red also fell asleep herself shortly afterwards.

A/N: I was originally planning on writing a story where Clyde and Red marry each other after Kevin gets murdered but I've scrapped the story. Kevin won't get murdered and Clyde will still be single for life (because no girls like him since he is a pervert). I'm going to write a similar story to the one that I've scrapped but it's going to be a Sly Cooper story instead of a South Park story.
