Verse 2: Games and Guns
A week had passed since after the forest hospital mission with Jill in her apartment within her bedroom only in her nightwear consist of a blue tank top and white cotton short shorts drinking some strawberry milk to watch the local news brushing aside a strand of blond hair from her face.
"This latest report; the mayor has been caught up in another scandal. The city mayor Michael Warren has been cheating on his wife with his underaged maid. His wife was recently filed for divorce for her former husband due to his perverted actions," the reporter said.
"I knew the guy was weird but shacking it up with an underaged maid is beyond creepy," Jill thought to stretch out her long legs while she yawned as she gets a call from her phone to hear Holly's voice.
"Hey, Jill. Gone to sleep yet?" Holly asked on the phone with her in a white nightgown seeing her husband is asleep beside her.
"No. How is your hubby doing now?" Jill asked.
"Sleeping like a big baby," Holly said to kiss him on the forehead giving him a small smile only made for him. "Seriously, he is doing well. Working on some building projects in Gateway City," she said.
"Oh, maybe he can give the town a bit of a makeover," Jill said lightly.
"Yeah, no amount of paint is going to make that broken city's problems go away. So, you and Tai seem to be getting cozy?" she asked teasing her making Jill blush for she has been on hanging out with him within the week
"Well we are getting along quite well," Jill said.
"No rush. Relationships take time to build up. Well, good night Jill. We have quite the day ahead of us," Holly said as she turns off the phone with Jill getting into bed.
"Well time to hit the hay," Jill said to flop onto the bed to slip into the sheets as morning quickly came up with the sun casting its warmth on Raccoon City. Her alarm clock alert went off making Jill let out a big yawn.
"I want to go to my favorite spot in the mountains. I want him to come with me," Jill said to give Tai a call.
Tai is in his hotel room to get a call from Jill to meet her in the hills north Raccoon City to park his car nearby a cave entrance. The surroundings were very peaceful far away from the bustling city with nature taking a full effect on the area.
"I wonder what Jill wants to show me?" he wondered as he stops by a cave for he pulls out his pistol just in case of danger. He can hear her nearby to slowly go through the tunnels.
Then suddenly he hears Jill screaming as this made Tai panic. "Jill, I am coming," Tai rushes in with his weapon ready to fight the unknown threat. "Jill," he said to come in to see an underground waterfall with a big spring under it to see a beautiful half Japanese woman dressed in her underwear to use her Tanto to stab a rat in the head.
"Hey there Tai, you are here finally," she said with a bright smile on her face as he is blushing to turn around to preserve her modesty.
"I am sorry Jill, I went here because I thought you were in trouble," he said as Jill goes up to him to place her hand on his shoulder.
"So gentlemanly. Thank you, Tai," she said.
"No problem, just wanting to make sure your safe," he said as she is touched by that.
"Well I know you are trying to be a gentleman and all, but I know you want to look at me in my underwear. Do you?" she asked as he nods his head making her giggle. "Well at least you are honest," Jill liking his honestly.
He turns around to see Jill in a blue bra and light blue panties fitting her voluptuous build which he thought belongs to a goddess.
"What do you think?" she asked as he has a big blush on his face making Jill giggle at his cute expression.
"You are a classic beauty Jill," Tai feeling floored by Jill's beauty.
"That's very sweet, Tai. Wait a moment, I need to put back on my outfit," Jill said to get into her clothing to feel nice and fresh. "Oh, so good," she said to tap on the ground with her boot.
"You found this waterfall?" Tai asked changing the subject trying not to stare at Jill's ass or chest.
"Yep, I manage to find this place when I was hiking here along ago. An underground spring along with a waterfall isn't it beautiful," she said.
"Yeah it does," he said as she whips up her long blond hair for they look quite nice shining and damp with water.
"That is such a nice bath, I been using it for years ago. It's very relaxing" Jill said.
"Do you normally go take a bath in a cave lake?" Tai asked.
"Yes, it's my most favorite spot. I have been swimming in the pool for a while now. It's quite nice and the view is lovely," Jill said.
"Well thanks for showing me," Tai said.
"No problem," Jill said with a friendly wink along with a bright smile.
"Damn she is so pretty," he thought. "Well Jill, I wonder if you want to go out with me today to show me more about the city?" he asked.
"Oh sure, where do you want to go?" she asked.
"Hey, I want to take you to the gun range and sharpen your skills," he said.
"Oh right, a good place to practice against shooting zombies and other things that go bump in the night," Jill said lightly.
"Of course," he said as they get into Tai's car to head back into the city with Jill's hair dancing against the wind.
"You look great," Tai said to see her wearing a blue sundress fitting her curves very well especially her chest and hips.
"Thanks, you too handsome," she flirted to sport a red glow on her snow-white face to see him wearing a green shirt, black jeans and white sneakers fitting his tall thin frame.
"Feelings is mutual," Tai said for it's his turn to blush from her flirting.
"Indeed," Jill said as they see a door that has the sign Dead Aim on it as they go inside with all the guys checking out Jill with some of the females being jealous that Jill is getting the attention.
"Hey, Tai. I see you brought a pretty bird with you," the owner said looking at the pretty blond young woman.
"Oh; this is Jill Valentine, she is tagging along with me," he said.
"Are you his girlfriend?" he asked.
"Oh no," she said. "Not yet," she added within her thoughts. "I am his friend and I am here to practice my aim," Jill said.
"Oh; I see, I don't remember friends looking like that. Well; have fun, you two," he said as they go into a section of the range. Tai takes weapons off the gun racks to place them onto the table to spread them out.
"Pick your poison," he said.
"I want to start with this one," she said as she takes a PM-63 machine pistol from the piles as Tai sets up the targets with them moving and some standing still. Jill is lining up her weapon to pull back the retractable stock to begin picking off targets with her auto pistol.
Tai is seeing Jill taking shots as he is giving her pointers for he also grabs her waist to adjust her stance. Jill can feel his strong hands holding her waist and her thighs for she adores his firm touches as well as his light caresses which made her skin shiver in delight.
"Tai," she whispered as she finishes her session with the machine pistol.
"Good, now try out some more weapons and see how you do," Tai said as Jill puts the auto pistol away to take an M4A1 assault carbine with an optical scope, compressor, and foregrip.
She pulls back the charging handle as she sets the gun on semi-automatic to line up her shots with her looking through the scope. She is popping the targets with some effort but manages to clear the round.
"How did I do?" she asked.
"Pretty well but needs some work," Tai said as Jill switches to a SAF SMG for she fires but the high rate of fire caught her off guard with Jill losing her grip and balance. "Oh boy, you okay?" he asked as she has a look of surprise.
"That was one hell of a kick," Jill said.
"Try to use controlled bursts with it, that thing needs good trigger control with the crazy fire rate," Tai said as Jill is putting shots at the targets with Tai using another M4A1 rifle to put rounds onto moving targets for his shooting is quite good compared to Jill.
"I can see why the big dogs put their faith in you," Jill said giving him praise.
"Your words mean a lot Jill, but I am just a humble man who knows how to shoot," he said lightly as he hits a target with Jill resuming her practice shooting.
She is finished with her SMG to grab an HS10 with 6 slugs plus one in the chamber to total 7 rounds in the gun. "Shotgun, I can handle this," she said to fire the bullpup semi-auto shotgun to do well with it to shoot down the moving the targets with little effort.
She drops the shotgun to see the big anti-material rifle on the table. "Oh my, this is heavy," she said trying to move the M82 rifle but having trouble.
"Well seems like this class of weapon is above your weight class," he said seeing her skinny arms.
"Seems so, you can handle the big guns," she said.
"You can count on it," Tai said as he cocks the Barrett .50 to aim at a target and destroy the target on impact. "You know Jill, there is nothing better than a woman who knows how to wield a weapon. A truly empowered woman is one who can protect herself and everything around her. The difference of being a sheep and a lioness is that weapon in your hands," he said.
"Yeah my dad says stuff like that so I can handle creeps," Jill said as they go to different areas to test out the different ranges with multiple weapons.
Tai is within an area where he is in the middle of the firing range as he brings up an Uzi SMG to pop rapid shots onto the targets knocking them down. He looks at Jill coming onto the firing range.
"Hey there big guy," Jill said
"Hey Jill, you want to have a little contest?" he asked.
"I am game. What are the conditions?" she asked.
"Whoever could knock down the most target wins," Tai said as Jill takes a spare Uzi off the table to be beside her crush.
"Fine, let's dance," Jill said.
"Trust me, you can't handle my moves," Tai said lightly talking smack as they lay down bullets to see all the targets getting hit by their rounds.
The echoes of the weapons firing are filling up the range until they empty their magazines to see the numbers on the side to see Tai has won with Jill not too far behind.
"Well little lady good work, who teach you how to shoot?" Tai asked.
"My dad, he taught me all the things he knew in the military. My grandfather and great grandfather were in the French military and then when my father moved here, he joined the US Armed Forces as an Army Ranger," Jill said.
"Military kid huh," he said.
"He was serious but loving. He treated me like his little princess. I wanted to protect people as he did and so I became a police officer in Raccoon City than joined STARS," Jill said.
"He sounds amazing," Tai said as Jill has a sour look on her face.
"He was," she said as Tai goes up to her to give a warm hug to Jill.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to bring up bad memories," he said for Jill kisses him on the cheek.
"It's okay, I know you didn't mean it. I miss my dad and my mom," she said.
"More good people Umbrella murdered so recklessly," Tai said.
"Yeah, I will keep going for their sake," she said as they finish up to go out of the gun range. "Oh, there is a cool arcade that opened not too long ago. We can hang out there and play some games," Jill said.
"That would be cool, let's hit it," Tai said as they go down the street.
"There got all kinds of game cabinets there like fighting games to racing games to shooter games," Jill said.
"Sounds good to me," Tai said as the couple walks up to a large building with a colorful sign called Galaxy's Fair on the front entrance. They go into the parking lot as they go towards the building.
"Seems big," he said.
"Perfect, there will be lots of games to play," Jill said.
"I haven't played video games for a while now, my PlayStation 1 is getting lonely at home," Tai said.
"It's not the only thing that is lonely for a long time," Jill said under her breath.
"You said something Jill?" he asked not hearing what she said as she dismissively waves her hands in front of her.
"Oh nothing," she said trying to cover herself up as they go inside to see its quite spacious inside the buildings with many different types of games to choose from.
"Wow, so many games," Tai said.
"So, you are a gamer?" she asked.
"Yep, how about you?" he asked.
"Oh yeah I got a PS1 myself, I love me some JRPGs like Final Fantasy and Tales of Series," Jill said to poof out her chest to feel proud of herself.
"Me too, I am getting into some Crash Bandicoot and it's tough as hell," Tai said.
"Oh yeah it's a quite tough platformer," Jill said.
"There is this new platformer called Spyro with you controlling a dragon," Tai said as Jill's blue eyes light up at this.
"I saw an ad for it in the PlayStation magazine and Spyro looks so cute. The game seems pretty fun too," Jill said.
"It's nice meeting a girl who knows her games," he said.
"Well I got teased by the other girls when I was in high school for liking video games," she said.
"They are idiots for bullying a girl wants to do something different," Tai said as Jill's hear feels fuzzy hearing the sweet words into her ears.
"Of course, come on. Let's go," Jill said as they begin playing all sorts of games with the duo playing a fighting game with Jill getting an edge.
There were tied 3-3 with the last match being the tiebreaker. The match is intense with combos and dodges making the fight quite fast-paced but in the end, Jill manages to win.
"That was tough, you are pretty good at," he said.
"You are not bad yourself. Getting your gamer vibes back?" she asked.
"Yep, my reflexes are fine-tuned by years of practice," Tai said.
"Oh, how about that racing game over there," Jill said as they go over to more games. "How about this game," Jill said as he points to a game of Pac-Man for they get in a few games trying to get the high score. Tai is on the controls for Jill taps him with her hips getting his attention to beam him a pretty smile.
"Hey Jill, I need to focus," Tai said as Jill is teasing him with her body.
"Sure, keep your eyes on the ball," Jill said as he finishes the game. "So how about this one," Jill said as she points to another one for them to be playing Street Fighter 2.
"Gee how many versions Capcom is going to release on this game," Tai joked as Jill laughs at this.
"I know right, it's getting silly at this point," Jill said as they both picked their characters and begin to fight. Tai is on the controls for Jill taps him with her hips getting his attention showing him a pretty smile.
"Hey Jill, you are cheating," Tai said.
"Using my assets isn't cheating, it's my edge," she said as her overly ample cleavage is shaking from her movement as Tai is staring at them.
"Damn girl, they are huge," he thought to see her deep cleavage showing on her sundress.
"Okay, I win the match," Jill said as this snapped Tai out of his trance.
"Those assets are powerful indeed," he said as Jill cross her arms under her bust to make them look even bigger to distract him once again.
"I am quite gifted in more ways than one," she said with a smirk on her face for she hears her stomach growling with her face turning bright red from embarrassment. "I am quite hungry," she said for they go over to the food court to grab a pepperoni pizza to share it.
Jill sits at a booth to see all the families going on with their lives without knowing the truth of the mansion or the immoral experiments Umbrella is doing. They look so happy and yet they don't know all the rot that is within this city," Jill said.
"I know, Umbrella has a tight grip on this city. It's like a poison which is choking out the truth from this place, hiding it in plain sight," Tai said.
"It's sad really, I became a police officer to help and save people. I feel so helpless," Jill said as he takes her chin to meet her eyes with his own.
"You put too much on your shoulders. I and Brad are here along with others who will be helpful for us in the future," Tai said in a comforting tone to place a hand on her shoulder to calm her down.
"You are right, we can do this. I survived this long and I will keep fighting for everyone's sake," Jill said to think about her friends and family loss to this growing nightmare.
"That's my girl," Tai said with a playful wink as Jill smiles at this.
"Sorry for being a downer," she said.
"It's okay if you need a shoulder to worry. I am always available," he said as Jill looks down with a blush on her face.
"Why is he so sweet with me," Jill thought.
"The food is good here too," Tai said enjoying a pizza they are sharing to change the subject.
"Indeed, the pizza is amazing. It tastes better with others sharing it," Jill said as she is chewing on her slice.
"Hey what do your parents do for jobs if I mind asking?" he asked to be very curious about it.
"Oh well, my father was a former Army Ranger and retired. He became a firearms instructor for people want to go for self-defense," Jill said.
"Interesting, how about your mother?" he asked.
"She worked as a nurse supervisor in the Raccoon City General Hospital, she oversees the nurses putting them in their duties along with other management tasks," she said.
"Your down of earth manner makes sense," Tai said.
"Yes, we are not wealthy but we lived comfortably. That is for sure. how about you. What do your parents," she said to finish her slice to wash it down with some berry juice.
"Well my father is an owner of his own private security company called Covington Institute or CI for short," Tai said as Jill spits onto the table to stain it with her juice.
"Seriously?" she asked.
"Yep, it's small now but in the future. He wants to make it big and rival the big dogs like Umbrella to make a difference in this world," Tai said sounding proud of his father.
"I see, it's nice to have someone like that who not in it just for the profits. What about your mother?" she asked.
"Her work is more humble, she is a teacher within the Los Angeles area and she helps special need kids in the high school she works in," he said.
"I know where your big heart comes from," Jill said to rub her hand against his arm to look into his hazel eyes.
"My mom is a sweetheart, she would like you," Tai said as they finish their meal. They go out of the building to be side by side on the streets.
"Let's hang out at the park," Jill said as Tai nods his head
They go through one of the big parks to see families having fun, children playing on swings, couples enjoying their company and people walking their pets. "This is so nice today," Jill said as the wind is brushing against her long blond hair which is dancing against the wind.
"Not as nice as you," Tai flirted as Jill's cheeks feel warm at his sweet comment.
"You know how to treat me well, Tai," she said with her beautiful icy blue eyes filled with longing for him.
"Just speaking the truth, my dear," he said as the wind is getting harsher with Jill's skirt brushing against the wind.
"Man, it's very windy out here," Jill said with her thin arms raised above her head.
"Yeah, seems like it," Tai said as he sits on a bench when Jill is about to sit down. A gust of wind blows under her as Tai is blushing from this surprisingly pleasant sight.
"Tai," Jill said with a stutter with her face turning a deep red. Jill's sundress's skirt blown upward from the wind to reveal her lower body to the world especially her crush.

They look out to the park to see the trees were a beautiful shade of orange with their leaves. Jill looks on with interest with Tai catching this. "These are Vimta trees, they are a rare breed from Asia," he said.
"They are beautiful," Jill said to marvel at the trees with the leaves dancing against the winds.
"I prefer the sights right in front of me," Tai flirted with the half Japanese girl with her blushing at this.
"This is wonderful, you know. Hanging out with you and enjoying the city," Jill said.
"Yeah, Jill," he said as the beautiful young woman looking into his eyes.
Within a few minutes, they end the day with them going back into the car to take her back to her apartment. "Thanks, I will call you later bye," she said to wave to him as he rides away. "That was so nice, I can't wait to tell Holly about this," Jill said to go into her apartment for her heart is lifted despite the darkness surrounding her and the city.
