DISCLAIMER- i do not own the x-men nor do i own naruto(rooftop of apartment complextoni can be seen standing with a confused and annoyed look on her face as she stares into the horizon in deep thought as she was thinking over everything that Charles Xavier told her earlier.
'this is all to much to take in. seriously what should i do. mom if you were here what would you what me to do' toni thought as she pulled out a locket with a tiny picture of her birth mother it was the only thing that toni had of her mother
"my, i see that Xavier has told you the truths of the world has he? about the x gene about mutations? about you being a mutant yourself? has he told you who your father was or is?" asked an unknown female voice from behind toni
"he told me everything yes even about my father, but i'm not ready to face him not now not yet i honestly don't know how to feel about that. so who are you and why are you here?" toni questioned as she slipped into slight stance in case things went wrong
"hmmm well i am mystique and my employer has asked me to ask you a questions?" the now named mystique spoke with a small smirk as she stood across from toni
"oh yeah, well what is it as you can see i'm a little busy so hurry this up will ya'" toni spoke as she turned to face mystique
as they stood facing each other Ororo and Jean were making their way up to the roof to make sure toni was alright as jean picked up on toni's surface thoughts
"very well my employer is interested in you and your powers and is willing to teach you on how to control and use them properly in return you join him in his cause" mystique answered as she took a slight stance as well figuring out toni's answer already to her question
"and what is his cause and why is he so interested in me. i'm sure there are other's like me if not way more interesting?" toni asked as she glared at mystique
"he's cause is for mutants to be the dominant species of course...
she was cut off as toni went on the attack not liking how she worded that at all it made it sound like she was nothing but a tool or even worse a trained pet to obey this so call employer of hers and if there was one thing toni didn't like it was being told want to do by people who only wanted to use herfor one thing or another she hated being looked at like her life and feelings didn't matter
"WRONG ANSWER BITCH!" toni roared as she threw a punch kick combo only for mistique to evade her strikes
"such a shame, guess i'll just have to take you by force" mystique said as she threw a palm thrust to toni's stomach
toni got the wind knocked out her and stumbled a bit but she got back into her fighting stance as she engaged mystique once again only for mystique to do a swift kick to her side followed up by a hard punch to her face with an elbow to her chest and finally mystique put her into a submission hold
"now then as i was saying your coming with me no highway option. be a nice little girl and maybe my employer will...
the wind started picking as it started to rain with lightning striking and a red beam of energy shot towards mystique and her hostage which she pushed away as she herself jumped away just as the red beam passed where she once stood
"you alright toni?" a worried jean asked as she rushed to toni's side as toni coughed and sucked in the needed air to breathe again
"yyy..yeah i'm fine just a bruised pride is all" toni joked as she tried to stand only to stumble a bit before Straihtening
"seems you lot finally decided to step in it seems how touching" mystique tuanted the x-men as she made her decision to make a quick tactical retreat
"who the fuck does that bitch think zhe is? when i see her again i'm gonna" toni snarled out in frustration
finally getting a hold of herself toni decided it would be best to go back to her apartment
--line break--once back in her living room toni finally made up her mind
"ok i'll accept your offer if onl"hey that is great news" scott had cut toni off which kinda annoyed her a bit"yeah whatever, but i'll only accept on a few conditions if that is ok with you" toni said as she gave a mischievous and cheeky grin"and please do tell what these conditions hear by entail ms. uzumaki" Xavier spoke in a business like tone"i would like to have a lab of my own to do experiments on any inventionsi may come up with and of course i'd like to also have my own room i honestly don't like sharing a room but that is negationible and thats it" toni finished with a cbeery tone
"hmm the lab is acceptable on the condition you allow myself or Ororo to check up on you every now and then" Xavier answered
"no prob prof." toni agreed
"as for your own room for you will have it for yourself but if we get more students you will have to share a room. and before you ask you won't have to share a room with boys but you will share a room with another girl when or if any of the new students happen to be female is that ok?" Xavier answered/asked as he waited for her answer
"yeah sure it's no biggie at all prof." toni accepted the terms
"will i am glad and on behalf of myself and the others ihear by welcome you to the Xavier's institute for gifted youngsters and as well as a part of the team of x-men" Xavier proudly announced
