As Shinso sat in the grass, the afternoon heat is quite welcome after the cold morning, he had time to reflect on everything that had happened. He still hadn't regretted teaming up with Kaminari, even with the rough start and strange meeting turns out he wasn't horrible to hang out with. Originally he had doubts about how long their partnership would last, but they were still going strong a few months after their meeting.
It had been a good experience for him to travel with someone, seeing as he had almost always been alone his entire life. Years upon years of growing up without friends, and a bit distant from his parents. Since Kaminari had come into his life, he had started to feel better somehow, or maybe it was just dumbass rubbing off on him. Either way, he was glad Kaminari was there.
As the days turned into weeks, and then months, winter raged up north while the south was getting closer to spring. Soon enough spring had arrived, the blooming flowers a welcoming sight for weary travellers like themselves. Shinso wasn't sure where they were at the moment, but all that walking had brought them somewhere warmer and closer to Kaminari's destination.
The path they walked had been very scenic. the grass was soft, the sky was the most beautiful blue, and a pleasant scent drifted on the breeze. That last one could easily be a Pokemon though.
As Shinso sat in the grass, staring up at the sky while they took a break from walking, he was completely oblivious to his surroundings. At least until Kaminari spoke up. "Dude, what the hell are you?" Kaminari asked, staring down at Shinso.
"What?" Shinso asked, looking toward him.
"Don't 'what' me, you are a Pokemon magnet," he stated, gesturing to the small Pokemon that had somehow taken a liking to him. Shinso looked around him. There was his little group of Pokemon, but he was right, a bunch of other small pokemon also took a liking to his calm demeanour. Strange, most of the time it was a ghost or psychic type Pokemon that hung around him.
"Maybe I smell better than you." Shinso teased with a blank expression causing Kaminari to check. Apparently, he wasn't smelling as good as he thought because the blond walked away to his backpack. Sometimes he could be so stupid, but Shinso didn't mind that.
When Kaminari came back, he had a snack in his hands and sat down near Shinso. "Here." the blond said as he handed Shinso a few chips to munch on.
"Of all the things you could carry in your backpack, you pick to waste space... with chips?" Shinso asked with an ever subtle smile on his face.
"Shut up and eat." Kaminari joked as he ate a few chips.
