Chapter 2: Details and Arrangements
Previously
"You will see that even if Danny has admittedly gotten fond of her, he still held some fear of her..."Clockwork said.
"No, not good enough for us. We shall pick the moment in time for them..."The first observant said.
"Any moment BESIDES the first night they met, it's adamantly crucial that it stays that way..."Clockwork said.
"Very well, we shall select any night after that..."The second observant said.
"Fine..."Clockwork said, since to him, the result would be the same.
He extended his right hand and the first Observant extended his. Both spirits shook their hands, a green glow emitting from their hands.
"It's a bet..."They both said in union.
Both Clockwork and the Observants continued to talk and the Observants came up with the kind of scenerio to put the two unusual lovers in, how long it should take, what difficulties they have to face and how to go about it.
"That is what they have to face Clockwork or the bet is off, understand?.."The first Observant said.
Once they laid their terms, Clockwork nodded.
"Very well, now all that remains is you choosing which period we take them from..."Clockwork reminded.
He knew which they were going to pick, but he wanted to hear them actually say it, mostly because he found people who expected him to do something without saying something to be rude and lazy.
Not to mention that it irritates them, which he silently enjoyed.
The second Observent spoke up.
"I suggest the moment after they first dealt with her sister and before they were kidnapped by those reptilian aliens from her own dimension..."The first one suggested to his partner.
"Why that moment?..."His accomplice asked.
"He still refuses to see that girl as anything but a nuisance at worst and a reluctant ally at best. I believe that will do..."He explained.
"Alright, that moment it is..."The first Observant said before turning to the time master.
"Very well..."Clockwork said as his staff started to glow and a new time window showed up, showing said events to the three spirits once more.
In the time window
They were once again seeing the end result of Danny and Starfire's first team-up against Starfire's evil, older sister Blackfire.
"You should've just stayed with your little Titan friends, Starfire. Then again, I'll be coming for them too!..."Blackfire said as she charges a blast.
She's unable to fire it as Danny hits her with an ectoplasmic ray.
"Get away from her!..." Danny shouts.
Starfire looks to him and smiles.
"Thank you!..." She then gets up and flies towards Blackfire.
Blackfire is getting up when Starfire starts firing a barrage of blasts that knocks her off guard. Then, Starfire throws one punch to Blackfire that knocks her into a tree and Danny hoped that she would stay down.
Blackfire gets up, looking ready to keep fighting. Instead, she falls to her knees, then hits the ground face down.
Danny lets out a breath in relief and sits on the ground.
"And stay down!..." Starfire shouts to her sister with her eyes aglow.
She then turns to see Danny, now her glow fades and a warm smile comes to her face. She then runs to him and jumps on top of him before he has time to notice her.
"Phantom!..." She shouts as she wraps her arms around him in a hug.
"Ack! Starfire!..."Danny yelps, and then whimpers as her hug hurts him.
"Oh! Forgive me, my darling!..."Starfire apologized before loosens her grip.
She looks up and into his eyes. She then started to nuzzle in his cheek again.
Despite the pain he's in and how tired he is of aliens being into him, he can't help but smile. Starfire is still a genuinely nice girl despite her obsessiveness around him.
He then puts and arm around her back in a light hug back.
This caught her attention, she looks up in surprise at his smiling face. She then smiles again.
The two begin to close their eyes and start moving their faces closer together.
Suddenly, a powder comes out and it causes Starfire to fall asleep.
"Huh?..." Danny asks as Starfire sleeps on his chest.
"Sorry, Great One..." Frostbite's voice says. Turning back, Danny sees his icy friend behind him.
"After my nap, I decided to make a sleeping powder from fresh ingredients in the area. I decided to test it out on your new girlfriend in case her sister…" He looks to see the unconscious Blackfire away.
"Oh, never mind..."The yeti ghost said in a sheepish way.
"You sure took your time!..." Danny says in a slightly annoyed tone.
He then points to Starfire.
"Also, not my girlfriend..."He said stubbornly.
"Well, I suppose we should return these two to their home..." Frostbite says as he walks to Blackfire.
"Yeah…" Danny says, looking a bit reluctant as he looks to the sleeping alien girl on his chest.
"She'll be home and never bother me again… I'll never see her again. That's good… right?
Frostbite comes back in, carrying Blackfire over his shoulder, he then pulls out the Infi-Map.
"Take us to the portal to their world..."The yeti said and in no time, he and Danny soon arrived to their destination.
The T-portal.
"Let us send them home, Great One..."Frostbite said as tosses Blackfire carelessly into the T portal.
Danny picked up a still sleeping Starfire before flying up to the portal and, more gently puts her through the portal.
"Well, that's that..." Danny says, sounding a bit down.
"Are you alright, Great One?..." Frostbite asks concerned.
"Yeah… I guess so." Danny says, though he's clearly lying.
With Clockwork
He paused at that moment, before turning to his employers.
"Alright, I will fast forward them to an hour, after Starfire wakes up and before Danny regains access to his powers and then we shall see which of us is right..."Clockwork said.
"Well, what are you waiting for?...'The first observant said.
"Do it..."The second observant said.
Clockwork smirks as he held up his time staff.
"As you wish...'The time master said as he pressed a button on his time staff, which now was glowing very brightly.
With Danny
Danny had just returned to his home, still locked in his ghost form.
It's been almost an hour after he and Frostbite left the T-portal after returning Starfire and her crazy older sister home.
Both were unconscious and he didn't get to say goodbye to her.
Maybe it was better that way. His powers made her emotions go crazy and...he didn't want to see her heart break by telling her that they'd never see each other again.
He didn't want to see that...even if it is inevitable, whether he sees it or not.
"Stop that. It's for the best. She...she's better off this way. We both are.."Danny thought, though if anyone heard his thoughts, they could see that he was trying to convince himself that more than anything.
Even though he knows Starfire means no harm and is a good person, he can't just let her believe this lie.
He is not the Tamaranian boy she thinks he is and he never will be.
Maybe this is the best for the both of them.
"Maybe she'll meet a nice boy in her universe to get over me?..."Danny thought.
After all, Starfire is a very pretty girl and when she isn't acting crazy, she's very sweet. He wouldn't be surprise if she had quite a few guys interested in her.
Guys who don't have the ability to make her emotions go crazy and she'll be able to act normal around them too.
Danny sighed, not knowing why but part of him didn't like that idea, but he knew that he shouldn't think like that.
He had to stop thinking about her.
He can't see her anymore and that's that.
"Why am I so down about this?..." He asked himself incredulously.
"This is a good thing! Right?..."
Right?
Danny shook his head, trying to snap out of this and go on with his life.
"I better give this to Jazz and have her tell dad to fix it again if I want to be human again before dinner tonight.."Danny muttered.
He was about to go faze upstairs, only for his ghost sense to go off again.
"Oh man, what now?...'Danny muttered, worried since his powers are still limited.
Looks like he will have to make due with what he has.
"Alright, who is it this time?...'Danny called, wanting to get it over with.
However, to his shock, a bright light soon appeared and practically consumed.
"What the- AHH!..."Danny yelled as he was nearly blinded by that light.
A few seconds later, Jazz came down to the lab.
"Danny? Are you home?...'Jazz called, only to see that no one was here.
"Huh? Weird. I thought I heard someone down here..."Jazz said to herself.
She had no way of knowing that her younger brother was here.
But not anymore.
With Starfire
The young princess of Tamaran had just returned to her home, after she and her friends discovered her thankfully unconscious older sister and then shipped her off to a special cell, meant to hold the likes of her for good.
Starfire hoped that she stay in there, but her thoughts were not on her mean older sister.
No, as the young alien girl laid on her bed, next to her sleeping pet Silky, she thought of only one person.
Her darling, Phantom.
He had just been in her arms, after a fierce battle against her horrible older sister, who also expressed a desire to make him her mate.
Thankfully, Phantom saw Blackfire for what she is and didn't hesitate to refuse her, staying loyal to Starfire. She was relieved to know that her darling could see for himself which girl truly loved him and him staying faithful, not that she had any doubts about that, mind you.
But now, she is back in her home. He and his friend, Mr. The Frostbite, must have brought her home and Blackfire too.
It's only been one hour since she woke up and she had spent it making sure Blackfire couldn't escape and ruin things again. But now, she is alone with her thoughts.
And she missed him again.
"My darling Phantom. How I wish to see you and have you in my arms again...'Starfire whispered in sadness and longing.
However, before the lovesick alien girl could continue to mope, she suddenly felt a strange presence in her room.
"Huh? Who is there?...'Starfire said as her eyes glowed green and so did her fists.
However
However, to her shock, a bright light soon appeared and she was nearly blinded by it.
"OH MY-.."Starfire screamed as the strange bright light engulfed her.
A few seconds later, Silky woke up from his nap but soon noticed that his K'norfka was no longer in this room.
Oh boy.
With Clockwork
Both the Master of all time and the two Observants shared a look, as they now had the past versions of Danny Phantom and the Tamaranean princess Starfire.
The three powerful spirits observed the frozen, unconscious versions of the white haired hero and his not-quite official lover.
"Are you certain that this won't have any negative side effects on the timeline?...'The Second Observant couldn't help but ask.
"If it would, I wouldn't be doing this..."Clockwork said, reminding them that he knows everything.
"Once the experiment is over, I will return them to their respective time periods and...we shall see if any changes need to be made...'Clockwork said in a sly way, to the Observants irritation.
"Let's just get this over with..."The first Observant commanded.
"Very well.."Clockwork said as he snapped his fingers and the past versions of his young friends soon gone.
Gone to prove, just how true their bond REALLY is...
Oh boy...

Wiseguy2415: Yeah but as shown here, the Observants still try to lord over the time master. Clockwork, as stated before, knows how everything is going to and not going to end. But for now, let's just see how this turns out.
Dreams Come True 996: To be honest, I hate the Danny and Penelope Spectra pairing the most, not only does it make zero sense, Spectra is an adult and Danny is a teenager. And even if they were the same age, Spectra had tried to kill Danny's sister in her debut and she is a vain, sadistic witch of a ghoul and her so-called beauty is fake as she is an old hag on the inside. I am only so-so for the DannyxSam pairing but I still prefer it way more than Danny and Spectra and I always will.
